Can be crowded, elevators are slow so if your bringing a stroller for kids you would be better off carrying them. Lots of the same vendors especially selling cheap toys or "As seen on tv" type cookware

Well we were there for the Minerals, Fossils, and Gemstones show and though it seems they were doing maintenance or repairs on the second floor the show was on the 3rd floor. The building comes with ramps around the entrances, elevator, A.T.M, restaurant/food perchase area, and restrooms that are pretty spacious with changing table for the diapered

Always a great time! We've gone as a family since my kids were babies and now they're in their twenties. We plan a day off from work and spend the entire day at the stock show. There's always something new to see and great vendors with merchandise and delicious food!

My friend and I try to visit the National Western Stock Show each year~ She loves the cows and I love the sheep! The food options and art gallery are always a highlight for us~ Very busy/loud with lots of people and families, so be careful if you're uncomfortable in a crowd! My favorite event is the Sheep Lead contest~<3

Get your cowboy on and come out to one of Denver's most iconic, annual events. You'll love the rodeo announcers banter as you're served up one bucking bronco after another twisting bull. There's tons of excitement to be had in that little stadium. Then, don't miss the hundreds of vendors throughout the complex. Some of this stuff you can only find at the Stock show.

I'm neither a rodeo nor a stock show person and I don't find the trade show aspect of this event very interesting either. However, yet another feature is the Coors Western Art Exhibit & Sale and I am an art lover. The art show dates to 1993 and attracts top artists from all over the country. The general theme is western art, but everything from sculpture to abstraction to impressionism to realism is included in a wide variety of media. The quality of the work is top-notch.

Since 1994 the National Western has purchased one work each year for its permanent collection. These are, unfortunately, not currently on public display. Proceeds from the show go to the National Western's scholarship program. The art show is currently tucked away in a back corner of the third floor of the National Western Complex. It will have a much larger and more prominent location in the planned National Western Center, along with display space for the permanent collection.

The National Western offers extensive free parking and a free shuttle bus to the various outlying lots and to the main buildings. This makes getting to the event quite easy. You do need to pay the grounds admission fee to access the art show, but there's a free day each year that waives this charge.

My family and I had a very pleasant time at the rodeo this year. Everybody was very professional and we loved the way that they shuttled people from the parking lot over to the Coliseum to enjoy the entertainment. We always enjoy our self every year that we go and we can't wait for next year to do it all over again.

A great way to cure the after holidays Blues. Always fun for families and groups too. The shows are unique to your not going to see most anywhere else! Make sure you get down to see the paddocks and out to the Stockyards. The catwalk over the stockyards in the evening is always fun. Free parking, but plan a little time for the shuttle bus.

It is fun and something to do for the weekend which is great. Unfortunately the food pricing just keeps going higher and higher. $16 for a turkey leg, $14 for a sausage sandwich, and $10 for a slice of pizza. I recommend eating before attending.
