We went here to see Steps, it's a nice venue but parking is a bit awkward. There is a half decent resturant in the venue as well as other food outlets. Try parking at the lace market if you don't mind a five or ten min walk.

We went to see Strictly On Tour at the Motorpoint Arena, my first experience of an arena event. The venue is large but not overpowering, and the steeply raked seating means that everyone gets a good view (as long as you don t suffer from vertigo). The staff were friendly and helpful in directing us to our seats.
Access to the venue is easy as it s in central Nottingham, with plenty of car parks within a few minutes walk.
The building itself looks good from the outside but the interior is rather drab concrete and steel - functional but a bit like a B&Q store.
There are plenty of bars and food outlets available but strangely not enough toilets to cope with 8000 people all needing a pee at the same time! There was a long queue for the gents and my wife was gone for so long in the ladies that I thought she d got lost. Why build a large capacity venue without sufficient toilet facilities for the number of people attending the events?
Overall I thought it was a decent venue although it s a functional building lacking in charm, and the toilets need sorting out!

Nice venue for concert. Sadly lacking in facilities for coping and assisting with disabled visitors, both inside the arena and when leaving the arena at the end. Inside no hand rails at all and disabled seating was given on the rows 2/3 way up and half way along the row with no barrier for supporting anyone slightly infirm.
My partner had to walk all the way around the outside to get back to where the car was parked near the front entrance of the arena. The staff were helpful but definitely attention to detail and needs a reassessment of options available to disabled visitors.

We came to see Disney on ice last Saturday. Staff were so lovely. Helped us when we had our bags checked with 3 children and a million nappies blankets ect. Staff also very helpful with helping us find our way. Show was amazing, felt very safe and happy with our experience

usually go to Manchester or Sheffield so was amazed how small this "arena" is, although that makes it good to see bands even seated at the back. Saw Slipknots Welcome to Hell tour there, stage very small and they didn't use all their kit. Great show anyway. Anyway, as I'm not familiar with Nottingham couldn't find anywhere close to park so ended up in Victoria Center parking. No sign post to venue so I guessed the way as I had driven past it. Staff not very friendly or helpful, took tickets off us! said we would get them back after, we didn't....stunk of p***, very few toilets, massive ques, they stunk as well! could find the bar but not to bothered about that. Only positive part is that it's small enough to see bands from everywhere inside. would go again but prefer Sheffield, easy access, easy parking, clean, just dont sit at the back unless you have binoculars!

The parking they have set up for Panther games is really useful and whenever we visit things just run like clockwork, so the staff clearly know what they're doing.

Food & drink is a bit pricey, but it's an arena, so you expect that.

This arena is totally outdated compared to other arenas. We went to see fatboy slim and had standing tickets. Most arenas would give the standing attendees a wrist band. On entering the venue we showed our tickets and thought that we were in and that was it but were then asked to show our tickets on entering the standing area. We were not told to keep our tickets and I thought I had lost mine. The steward was awkward - why weren t we told that we needed to show our tickets? None of the stewards knew where the standing entrance was. The queues for the standing bar was utterly ridiculous - most arenas now have a queuing system but this was just a free for all. The queues for the loos was also unacceptable. They need to update the arena to make it more customer friendly!

Went to see Strictly Come Dancing Live. Cannot fault the show it was fab-u-lous darlings, hence the 5 stars.
The venue however really needs to do something about it's facilities, the queue for the ladies was corridor wide and about 20 metres long to even get to the door!
Could also do with a vending point that sells decent tea, not everyone wants to, or indeed can, drink alcohol and Coca-Cola, and the tea I got was rank.
We all pay a lot of money to see the shows here, I think we deserve better facilities than what are currently offered.

Fantastic place to go. But most of all i need to thank the staff. My wife and i went to see Olly Murrs on the 6-5-19. At the minute she is on crutches and struggling to walk. The Arena staff were fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble . They helped us every step of the way. Thank you very much.

A great arena. Very clean and tidy. The staff are very helpful and well organised. Been several times and always had a great time. Drinks are pricey. But what you'd expect to pay in a venue. Went to see The Script who were as always amazing
