I am embarrassed as an American when I see our public sites strewn with garbage. Where are the cleaning people? There are plastic bags blowin over the grounds like tumbleweeds and refuse clotting the shrubbery. Plenty of people on duty inside.
An essential tourist stop for any history-minded traveler in Philadelphia.
Brought the family on vacation, very well maintained and educational.
Expensive if payinng full Freight however if you have a Bank of America credit/debit card it's free on the first weekend of the month
Make sure you check out one of the original 14 copies of the Bill of Rights on the 2nd floor
It's a nice museum, but not very big. We got through everything in a couple of hours.
Teaching moments good places for everyone no matter their age
Everyone should be required to visit to see how history keeps repeating. The main exhibit is very good and the current one on Reconstruction is great. Not crowded at all on the Saturday morning I was there. You could spend several hours if you have the stamina
The employees are very nice people.
The Gentleman who did the constitution talk was incredible an wellspoken
A true national treasure! Great exhibits for the entire family.
Brand new, great show, amazing roundabout exhibit
So glad I stopped here. I was almost going to skip it for the Museum of the American Revolution and I actually liked the National constitution center better. The projection show was amAzing and does a great job of giving a quick overview of the events leading up to and post constitution. Loved it.
Cheaper to buy tickets online with the special they had going. The interactive video was good to do before entering the museum. Good place to bring kids to learn about the history of the country.
This is a cool place to take you kids. Learn about history where it was made!
The history is amazing!!
Live interactive presentation is a must.
I loved signers hall...I felt like I was apart of making history!!
Very knowledgeable staff and a very educational location to check out. Unfortunately with our forefathers can see what our nations turned into be rolling over in their graves
There's a lot of information and it's presented well, but there's no reason there should be an admission fee, especially when Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell are free right next door.
Interesting exhibits and an excellent movie, but very expensive for what it is. I had the opportunity to visit for free and I did enjoy myself and the approximate one hour that I was there, but when I saw that it normally costs an adult $14.50 I was very surprised as I would have guessed admission to be in the $5 range. Don't get me wrong, I do recommend everyone visit at least once in their lifetime, but keep your expectations in check. Don't miss the limited-time exhibition of an original copy of the Bill of Rights.
A very open and nice place, with affordable deals at the gift shop, and a nice restaurant with nice options. Also has a nice Kimmel Theater
If u find the place that makes coins exciting then this is the place 4 u.
Wonderful addition to Philadelphia! Awesome information and interactive design. I could spend hours here.
Very interesting but you need more than one morning to go through and understand all the historical events
Gives of living in history. Must Visit for all American history lovers and wanting to know about American Independence
We were able to spend hours here. A great experience.
Exceptional history but look for coupons. Basic admission is $14.50. Plan to spend hours though!
Great lessons about the constitution and why it is key to our freedoms.
Very educational and fun. There are life size statues of all the signers of the Constitution.
The tour guide was very interesting was not Dull. Even though he had a lot of facts a lot I did not know. With a chaperone to fifth grade they enjoyed it
Excellent performance to start exhibit, interactive parts
I love this place. The narrator in the amphitheatre is wonderful as is the docent in the statuary of all the signers. Go.
Spectacular. To spend half a full day in it. Zero waste
Soups cool to see them actually the papers, a little pity that.you can't take pictures but they are understandable when the papers get damaged. They also mention "we the people" where you get to learn from folk history!
Lives up to the hype of the only museum devoted to a constitution anywhere. Signers Hall with the life-sized bronze statues of the signers(and later signers) is a must see. Special exhibits on the first floor are always good
Had a good live 20 min show, but otherwise really nothing but a huge new open space. Save your entrance fee (which is way to high for what is on offer) for something more interesting or informative.
If you love history and how everything started in this country.#philly is the place to visit history, walking and great places to eat. #lovephilly.
A great place to brush up on your American History. We spent much of the day exploring this and some other downtown historic houses. What a refreshing trip. Some much of our U.S. history is housed here - much of it I had already forgotten the details many years ago.
Marvelous life size display of Constitution writers. Plenty of guides to answer questions. Almost like being there.
Nice exhibits, very clean. The room with all of those who signed the declaration of independence was very interesting.
We only had an hour here but we could have spent an entire day between the permanent hall (free to explore) and the other temporary exhibits (which cost money).
The Constitution Hall (free exhibit) was fantastic. There is a lot going on, which could be distracting and overwhelming at times, but I managed it by sticking to one (either the inner or outer) circle of the exhibit at a time.
There's a lot of background noise and music from the plethora of exhibits, and the exhibit room itself is quite dim, but it was made up for by the probing questions and thoughtful interpretations throughout. We will definitely be back.
I can not speak more highly of this place. I continually go back for the exhibits and lectures. Phenomamel! I learn something new every single time!
Recommended for people who are interested in American history.
Interesting. The guide and inside map could be better.
Great exhibits, including an interactive one where you get to answer questions. The staff was very friendly.
All of American history through the lense of how events relate to, affect, and were affected by the US Constitution. It was a unique experience compared to other history museums and had many interactive performances throughout the day (my favorite was the news one - actors portrayed many sides of controversial topics; it's unlikely that you wouldn't feel strongly about some of them). I spent about 4 hours in the museum, and only left because they made me. You could easily spend the entire day in this museum from open to close.
Went on a field trip as a chaperone. Very interesting. Plan to go back as we were rushed.
It was amazing the history was great and so were the structures
This museum has nice exhibits but it is touristy and overpriced, its definitely not worth the $15.00 ticket price since the whole museum can be seen in two hours at most. Its still worth visiting though, and the special exhibits are very well done.
Informative place to learn about how the different branches of government interact.
Plays with live actors provide another mode of learning. Special exhibits catch the attention like signer's hall. The view of Independence mall is worth coming here by itself
Tickets were too expensive, but the gift shop was fun.
We had a lot of fun here and it was very educational.
Shows a lot about history in such a fun way. The exibits where a work of art and very informative
A great place to learn about the US Constitution and appreciate its purpose and legacy.
If you love history this is a great place to visit, friendly staff.
Interesting and informative. Easy parking. Good prices. Friendly staff.
Had a great time at the Hamilton Exhibit. My 12 year old loved it.
Enjoyed the short presentation and the interactive museum. Very fun!
