Had a blast yesterday with my family, it was a first for my 11 and 14 year old at our first time at NOC, highly recommend. Our guide Stopank (Mike) was AWESOME!!!

You will not be disappointed by NOC's zip line experience. Our zip guides, Mark and Connor L, and Chuy, the driver, were AMAZING! They kept us safe and entertained through all 8 zip lines. Thank you guys for a great experience we will not forget!

Even if not tubing it is always good to go and sit by the river. Great place to have lunch.
Really cool place. And the prices aren't as high as you usually see at outdoor centers. Big, large selection and an amazing view during your entire visit.

If you are into whitewater rafting, climbing, hiking/camping; this is the place for you. There is also a bike shop on the other side of the river. They have guide services/ schools for all the above. We like to have a meal in the Resturant located on the river...wonderful

We had an amazing time at the NOC! We - me, two boys, ages 12 and 14 - did whitewater rafting, kayaking in Fontana Lake, and zip lining. All of our guides were knowledgeable, safety-conscious, personable, and fun. They all made for a great experience. My boys liked kayaking (and swimming) in the lake so much, we went again two days later. If you are looking for a fun vacation in the mountains of North Carolina, I can't recommend the NOC enough.
Went on a 3 hour long rafting tour, didn't even feel like 3 hours! Time flies when you're having fun :) Very friendly staff
Looks like a nice place when its in season. As of april 9th almost everything is closed and the resupply for AT threw hikers is very poor. Plan on sending a resupply box.
To many Duckies and Kayaks . They would stop to socialize putting them in the way of rafters..not good on the river!
What better location than right on the river? We love to shop there when we visit during various festivities held at that location throughout the year.

Beautiful riverside outpost with most any activity you could want to do. Rafting, canoeing, kayaking. Zip lines. Hiking. Mountain biking. Train ride. Good food at the restaurants. Outdoor outfitter store with tremendous selection of equipment, gear and clothing.
Went ziplining here. SO MUCH FUN! Definitely going back again.
So much fun, some staff have very confusing directions, but overall everyone was super cool and super friendly. I kinda want to live here now.
Ask for Jack Studley awesome guide . our group had so much fun. He could be a comedian also. Knows the area very well. Gave us a history lesson. Want to goback.
Love the mountaintop zip line tour. Our guides were awesome, sad to say we don t remember the girls name but we also had chewy funny dad jokes, very informative and made us feel comfortable.
We visited the Nantahala Outdoor Center to white water raft. Pretty chill river (not rough at all. It's pretty scenic if anything.) and helpful staff. If you're looking to purchase Nantahala merch, highly recommend checking out the small store where you purchase photos of your white water rafting trip. They have stuff there that they don't have in the main outdoor center store.

Great place to visit and shop, a little pricey, but to be expected at a resort. Very helpful and friendly staff who know about the products they are selling.
This place is pretty pricey but we went mountain biking and had a ton of fun! They had several trails to choose from with varying levels of difficulty. Felt pretty accomplished and very worn out by the time we finished. They had both helmets and bikes so we didn t have to bring anything else with us. The guy running the shop was also very helpful!

Someone help!! My family and I were never able to receive our pictures! I find it funny that the only black people that were there are the only ones who s pictures aren t online. I ve called and no one is willing to help find them! We can t even look back on our time together. My family and I decided to try something new and go river rafting. We had a great time in the water. The reason I m giving a 1 star rating is because of the poor customer service towards us with our pictures.

They have a convenience store for snacks and such, a restaurant and an outdoor shop. We went when they were having a sidewalk sale at the outdoor shop and they had some good selections at a good price. We watched folks kayaking. It is a beautiful spot.
I rentedd from them in atlanta ga. The people from the company took my raft and deflated my raft before the cutoff time. Told me I could just walk back oh well. I went to Walk back there was no clear signage to the boat ramp I got lost could not find it. Someone took pity on me and showed me the way out and gave me a ride. I went back to the rental center on powers ferry Island. Expressed my displeasure and asked for a refund. The manager Hugh told me he could not I had to call corporate and give them his name and they would take care of it. I called got bounced around to a couple people. The manager at corporate John said he would take care if it and call me back. 5 hours later I called back and he had left for the day. They said they will get back to me not likley. They do not care about their customers and they lied to me several times. I used to rent from them every week I will never again. Extremely poor customer service Resolution was they finally agreed to refund me. Instead of taking this opportunity to start showing good customer service. That wanted to blame me and banish me from renting in the future as if I would anyway. This is a big company that could have easily refunded a single dissatisfied customer 35 dollars. They chose to point fingers instead they are really out of touch.
Our family fell in love with NOC and the Adventure Pass. We highly recommend it to try a little of everything the area has to offer. Just be sure to schedule at least 2 days in advance to give yourself all day here. Even on a time crunch though, you can have a great time! If you raft, Nolan and the rest of the guides are top notch! We cannot wait to go back!!

Visited the outfitters store and found it well stocked with the kayaking gear I was looking for. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Rafting with a guide went great. Our guide Brian could not have been any better! He was funny, kind, and knowledgeable. The bus ride to the drop off could have been a little calmer. The driver drove kind of quickly around those curves, but I'm a nervous rider anyway. Beautiful river!
No attempt was made to refund a trip that was adversely affected by Hurricane Florence due to the flight itinerary being in the affected area. Seems that if you re hanging onto $188 that hard, there are obviously deeper issues. All communication completely refused to address the actul content and questions in my email. I have rafted with them before and has a great rime. It s truly disappointing to say that I will not use them again after this week.
Never disappoints always something to do or just enjoy watching kayakers on the Nantahala.
This is a beautiful place. A must see if you're in the area. Good restaurant here also and some nice shops. Just a nice place to relax and take in all of Mother Nature. Nice lounge chairs situated all over the place for you to sit back and take it all in. Wonderful place.
Fun for the family. Getting a beverage can be a challenge.
The place is awesome, the burritos are not worth 10$. Oh and the beers are 6$
Best white water and zip lining experience around! Have been coming here for years ( since the 80's) and haven't been here for several years: NOC is all grown up!

Had an awesome trip and all of the staff were very helpful. It's definitely worth the trip if you want a white water experience with little to no knowledge needed in rafting.
I got a Christmas present from here. It had enough dust on it to plant seeds. It was also broken with no instructions. . Don t buy their gifts.
Absolutely fantastic experience white water rafting. Nice, clean facilities, shops, food and equipment. Staff is funny, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Our guide, Katy Dennis, is the best ever - she made the trip enjoyable for everyone in our boat. One thing to keep in mind.....the water is COLD even in the summer. Certainly plan on returning!

Had a great family vacation whitewater rafting in NC! We demonstrated great teamwork and had a fun first time at the rapids. The rafting guide was knowledgeable of the history of the park and made the trip enjoyable! #teambeardedBen
The waters were high and the Rapids were great. Our guide Susan was so patient with our children. She is highly recommended.

So much outdoor fun. Every guide for every activity is engaged and happy to help! Whitewater Rafting, Kayaking, SUP, Ropes Course, Zip Line, Mountain Biking on a good course, they have it all in a beautiful setting. Very clean. Nice changing areas. Shuttles provided between activities. Nice bar and restaurant
Stopped here on the train ride. Not a soul on the water. Appears to be a tourist place instead of an active whitewater training facility..
