Nanaimo mack Review

Went to buy supplies and truck parts. Excellent helpful staff. great selection and prices.

Had my truck in for CVI. Took 2 weeks. They took the truck into the shop. Found one thing wrong took it back out order the part fixed it. Found another thing wrong. Took it back out order the part fixed it and so on and so on. Charged for every time they started and moved the truck. Did not have the ability to diagnose and do the CVI find the thing's that was wrong and order all the parts and fix them. Stalling tacktick. I have Never paid anyone 4 hours to replace break before on one wheel. Order door handle that 3 months later had not showed up. They wanted to charge me restocking for a part they could not get. Totally incompetent people. Useless. Never ever would I recommend this shop to my worst enemy.

Very helpful these fine people got me off the road and then back on the rd yesterday with there mobile mechanic huge save and very much appreciated

These guys are the best when it comes to Mack trucks. I live in Surrey and refuse to ever deal with the terrible service and pricing of Mack Trucks in Surrey. Nanaimo Mack is the best Mack dealer in British Columbia the staff is honest, helpful and always eager to help.

Our experience with this dealership started about 18 years ago and shortly into our first Mack truck we "left" this dealer is the worst we've ever seen. The following years we had our truck serviced at Regina Mack which provided outstanding service every time and the last 2-3 years on and off in Vancouver Annacis Island Vancouver, also nothing but great experiences. Now that we retired, we thought we bring the truck to the Island and park it as Vancouver Island Mack in Nanaimo as the salesman was recommended to us. He promised he would have it detailed for us and sell it. After hearing nothing for 2.5 month we confronted him and been told the truck needs some repairs but they did not have the time to look into it. So from beginning of Dec.2018 until mid February 2019 not a finger was moved. After our conversation in Feb. we made it clear that we had to sell the truck as the money was needed. 2 weeks later we found out which repairs needed to be done and what it might cost. Well we called our prior dealers and made sure we are not taken for a ride.
When the truck was finished mid of April 2019 we where presented with a 14.000 repair cost. Which is literally a major rip off. After again contacting our previous dealers in Regina and Vancouver suddenly the bill dropped down to 7.800, now how did this happen? We where told the detailing is 450. All amounts inclusive. Yet when it came to pay the detailing gone up to 650, which we did not pay as we been told 450 inclusive, which we paid. Then when we picked the truck up we got dinged with another 54 Dollars for the taxes on the detailing. So now that we had our time to rant here we will call Headquarters Greensboro, North Carolina and explain how this dealership is actually run. It is a disgrace to try to suck hard earned $$$ from clients and treat them with such ignorance. Be careful if you choose to deal with this dealership!!!.

Great customer service every time I walk through the door!

We brought in the truck to these guys and after the job we went through the bill and found out we had been charged for things not even done. When we tried to talk with management we were sluffed off and given numerous excuses about how it was our fault. When you rip off the every day Joe your also ripping off his family and his kids and taking food off our table, hope you guys sleep well.
