Food is GREAT, but the service is rushed and not very friendly. Definitely go, but don t expect good service.
Always a favorite go-to for good food in historic Findlay Market.
The amazing food offsets the terrible restaurant atmosphere (noisy, dripping HVAC, sticky floor and furniture). Go to eat.
Put the pate on the Bahn Mi with a heavy hand and don't run out of it and you'll get the extra star. Pho is awesome. Downside: don't look at other people while they are eating Pho. Not attractive.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Cincinnati. With warm & cold dishes there is never a day I don't crave their veggie wraps or the pho bowl. The food comes out very quickly which always makes it a great spot for lunch (unless the lines are long) because everyone know's they're amazing.
Summary of the food is fresh+clean flavors where anyone can find the perfect dish to match their pallet.
The best vegetarian bahn mi I've ever had. I always go back for this! The location with the Findlay Market there is great to just stroll and eat.
Very nice staff. Felt very welcomed. Service was extremely fast. Received order of spring rolls and pho within 4 min of ordering. The spring rolls were average. Nothing wrong with them. I ordered the pho with extra steak. I m not certain it had extra steak in it. The pho had good flavor, steak was very good, but unbelievably there were too many noodles. Never thought I would say that. But this was at least 2x maybe more than a normal pho has. It was almost hard to get the pho broth on the spoon. The bowl was extremely over powered by the noodles. And side note, they really skimp on the basil. I asked for more and they brought another plate of veggies but it was all cilantro and bean sprouts.
*****Lastly Great Vietnamese Coffee*****
Food was amazing. It was what my body needed forreal.
Mediocre banh mi and pho. Your beef meatball is delicious! However it took so long for good to come out. Floor is pretty dirty. There were so many flies. Yuck!
Very good local restaurant . I cant speak to the authenticity of the food, but it is definitely exotic and tasty. Their drop coffee is exceptional. They sell Bobba Cha brand bubble tea here as well. The sandwich was small but appropriately priced. I could have eaten two.
There was plenty of open seating when we went, but I expect the diner can get full at times as it is not that large. You will have to walk a short distance as they do not have their own parking lot. We park in the Findlay Market lot and get 2 hours for a few bucks.
Fresh and quick food; don t get the boba
+ lots of indoor and outdoor seating
+ fast and friendly service
+ vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options
- 3 main options: sandwich, vermicelli bowl or pho
- boba tea was mango juice with jello beads in it, not bad but definitely NOT boba tea
- loud; could use some noise cancellation pads
I got a Chicken Noodle Bowl. Presentation was good but wish the food itself had more flavor. On a positive note it was a lot and afterwards didn't slow me down from walking OTR.
Ate here while on vacation in Cincinnati. Great little Pho shop. The pho broth was pre-seasoned and very Americanized. No nouc mam on the table but still a nice bowl of soup. I would eat here again next time I am at Findlay Market.
One Of My Favorite Places In The Nati! The Beef Stew Is The Best!
Best first Pho experience ever! The broth was great, good service, great pricing per portion size. The portions are huge. I crave Pho Lang Thang every time I come in from college.
The experience was as authentic as I've ever had, the flavors phenomenal, and the hospitality great. We got the egg rolls for appetizers and they were crisp, fresh, and paired with a fantastic sauce (that I unfortunately forgot the name of). We got two of the brisket soups, one large and one medium. While the bowls were larger, neither really contained much more food than the other as both were filled mostly with broth. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the noodles supreme. I couldn't give it five stars because in my opinion, while the food was phenomenal, the portions weren't exactly huge. My advice, the egg rolls are to die for, and make sure to try one of their headcheese sandwiches!
This place is always busy, so I never had the chance to stop. However, I went in on Sunday, for carry out . The food is amazing!!! Staff awesome as well.
I can't wait until they move into the new space looks amazing. There is nothing like a warm bowl of pho soup on a cold day. Everything they make is so good and take out is fast and delicious. Oh and grab a ginger beer it's surprisingly sweet and delicious.
So many great options to choose from for the beef, chicken and vegetarian!! The spring rolls are delicious and the staff is really nice. Food came out really fast and fresh. Will continue coming here for sure!!
I have been here three times now and each time was very pleased with my meal. The Pho is awesome. As are the spring rolls. Don't miss the iced coffee either. The place is small and cozy, but well worth the visit.
Good healthful food, very busy, great part of the Market experience.
The food is amazing. The service is great. With that being said, the place could use a good floor scrubbing.
We stopped by this place for lunch. The restaurant was jam packed with people on a Sunday at around noon so we were on the waiting list for approx. 15-20 min. We ordered pho for dine-in and then banh mi sandwiches for takeout. Pho was delicious -- the meat portions were very generous compared to a lot of other pho places I've been to -- but the sandwiches were a little dry.
Great food and good service. Chicken salad was very tasty
Best Pho in all of Cincinnati. Favorite place to go for a healthy alternative.
Best Pho,the sandwich was great. The peanut sauce and sting rolls to dye for
My favorite restaurant in the city. Everything is fresh and flavorful! My wife would never try it, then one day she took a bite and it has become a weekly stop for us
The food is outstanding, and the staff are really great. Quality food at a fair price, in large portions. You will get your money's worth, and eat well at the same time. I really love this place. There are selections for meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans alike. You won't be disappointed.
Best place in Cincinnati, I m from San Diego, CA so there s a lot of Pho restaurants out there. I now live in Lawrenceburg, IN and drive down to Cincy to pick up my pho bowl, fresh spring rolls, and sometimes bun mi sandwiches. It s just harder to find a parking now.
Don't be fooled by the new fancy restaurant and atmosphere, unfortunately this establishment used to have wonderful food, but there must have been a turn over in the kitchen staff I'm assuming. Food was good but just not the same... everything I used to love here has somehow changed in flavor and not for the better, willing to give it another go maybe they were just having an off day, we shall see next time...
If you want to eat rice noodles, please come and eat
good
With so many restaurants coming and going from Findlay market there is a reason this one has remained. Excellent food with interesting selection and overall great experience. The new location accommodates the popularity of the restaurant well, and maintains it's convince to the market. still one of my all time favorites and will likely continue to be for years to come.
Love it if you haven't tried it,its a must if your near Findley market or your downtown
Great food and super selection. Fresh and delicious ingredients.
I was impressed. I hope to go back next time I'm in Cincinnati.
Amazing taste quick service and nice staff it was amazing would recommend to anyone in the mood for Pho
I really like the new place It looks great and the food's great also thank you
This Vietnamese restaurant is one of the best, we came from far , but we are more than pleased the food is so delicious and the service that they give terrific. We totally recommended, thank you Pho Lang Thang for great food and excellent employees and pleasant service.
I love pho, because of this place. If you've never had pho, it is bowl of broth and this egg noodles with fresh deliciousness inside. I always and have only gotten the beef. Eat the beef first for rare, later for more done. You will receive a plate of garnish to add as you will.
If you don't usually try new things, this is an excellent option. It's very easy to like pho, and it is very filling.
The best pho in Cincinnati, but Cincinnati is not exactly know for their pho.
The menu consists of the basic Vietnamese fare and a few extras, but the list isn't overwhelming. They focus on every dish and do an absolutely amazing job at highlighting what the dish offers. Their pho is as absolute must-try.
Not sure how this place is rated so high. I'm guessing people have not eaten legit pho and just stop here after Findlay Market. The pho was barely warm, I was worried the beef wouldn't be fully cooked it was so lukewarm. Half of the fixings and spices seemed to have been left out. The bean sprouts were brown and old. Limeade was just sugar water basically. Pho was flavorless. My friend said something was missing in this place, "Vietnamese people? I replied haha". Another generic americanized restaurant in OTR hiding under the auspices of authenticity.
I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is well organised and the cashiers are always very welcoming. Would recommend to others.
Honestly so wholesome. Food is great. Staff is great. Location is great. Get the spring rolls. (Also staff is very knowledgeable about allergens)
The lady behind the counter was the bomb, made me feel welcome. Love the fa
Spring rolls were good. I ve heard a lot of hype about the pho here. Unfortunately, it does not compare to Pho Kimmy.
One of my ABSOLUTE favorite spots in Cincinnati. Their pho is unmatched, the banh mi are OUTSTANDING, the goi cuon is perfect. And seriously try the limeade AND the Vietnamese coffee (on ice). We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our city.
I feel like it's kind of a given but they have really good Pho.
Spring rolls were extremely bland. No seasoning, no fresh flavor, no 'pop' at all. No texture. Not to mention the peanut sauce was straight up thinned out peanut butter. Extremely dissapointed. No need to return. Trust me when I say that you'll achieve much better flavor making the first spring roll recipe you find on google.
My favorite place for Pho, delicious salad rolls & staff is really nice!
Good Pho, had the vegan with mushrooms and bamboo shoots.
Super delicious Pho, best in the city! Friendly staff as well! I suggest going on a weekday
Had a great time with my father. Our waiter had EXCELLENT customer service.
Really enjoyed the meal I had. I only wish portions had been bigger.
Since covid the food has become less then what it was, I hope it will be better when they reopen with dine in. Makes me sad.
My favorite Pho soup and Vietnamese cuisine in Cincinnati. Want to avoid the generally long weekend waits? Get it to go, and eat inside the Market building. Or, if it's warm enough, grab a beer and eat in the West side beer garden on Elm.
My favorite place to eat! Amazing flavors and great servers! You gotta go here!
Deceptively simple menu. Great food. Good value. Friendly service. Great coffee.
Nice and cozy place to eat some pho with family and friends.
Got a Pho and it was gluten free and very taste! I am so glad we stopped here! :) we even ate it in the car because of COVID-19 and we are road tripping.
Their broth is amazing, if you can get the beef stew it is totally worth it
Pho: 5 star. The raw beef topping is of great quality!
Banh mi: 2 star. I packed one as take out. When I ate it a few hours later, the bread is all soggy. It's made of a soft supermarket sweet bun, in stead of a quality proper baguette which will hold the texture.
Shrimp fresh roll: 3 stars. It's ok but nothing worth mentioning.
So, still recommend but order the pho only.
Btw the prices in the online menu are outdated. Pho is $9-11 for medium size.
This is where its at. Dishes here are made with love:)
The pho and banh mi are both delicious. I make it a point to visit this place every time I head downtown.
