To buy beer etc inside the stadium you first need to buy a chargeable card. I can charge it from 5 euros and beer is exactly 5 euro so I finished it. There is no restaurant etc to sit around and eat, there is Mac only 700 m away.

On June 7, 1989, a twenty-year-old DC-8 of the Surinamese airline SLM crashed just before landing at Zanderij airport, near Paramaribo. Among the 183 occupants, the complete Surinamese team with Dutch football players was on board. Only a few survived this SLM disaster. Footballer Knel was also among those who died, who had transferred from Sparta Rotterdam to NAC six months earlier.
This is a tribute to him at the Rat Verleg stadium!
