We were meant to be staying in the Utopia at the end of our trip to Mykonos, and it was the part to which we were most looking forward by far, as it looked gorgeous and had fantastic reviews. We stayed at Utopia s sister property, Korali, for three nights beforehand. The receptionist there seemed surprised we were staying at Utopia and asked to see our reservation (booked only a couple of weeks previously), but didn t say anything further. We then checked out and got transferred to - what we were told - would be Utopia. Instead, we were dropped off down the road at a completely different hotel, another sister property, called Myconian Villa Collection. We asked the driver if he was sure that was Utopia and he simply said this is your hotel . We thought maybe we would check in there and then be taken to Utopia, so continued. The receptionist there told us that Utopia had had to close at the last minute unexpectedly due to low occupancy (not sure how that is in some way an unexpected surprise, given that people tend to book holidays weeks in advance) but lucky us, we ve been upgraded to this hotel! No apologies or prior explanation. And, unless you like being trapped in a purgatory with Peter Stringfellow in his mansion with your eyes gouged out, it s most definitely a downgrade - gaudy and tacky and utterly tasteless. I understand that it s the end of the season, and could feasibly contemplate that the Utopia would have to shut early. But we should have been informed of that and presented with options, rather than being shuttled off and dumped at a hotel we never ever would have chosen. I am shocked that a group of hotels holding themselves out to be associated with Relais & Chateau would behave in such a duplicitous and underhand manner, as everyone working in the Myconian Group to whom we spoke and mentioned we were going to Utopia clearly knew it wasn t open anymore. Appalling.

Myconian Utopia Resort
should get a 5 star just for the service! haven't seen such good and attentive service and staff in my life. can get a bit cheesy even.. the food was good but not amazing as should be in this kind of place with these prices. you should ask the bartender to make you a coconut based cocktail! it's the best. it's a bit hard to get to the restaurant since it's on a mountain, so only drive there with a car
Very good hotel, The best in Mykonos. Service perfect and very clean and quiet
Amazing view and amazing food Flawless and surprisingly cheap prices Highly recommended
We had a truly wonderful stay at Utopia while on our honeymoon in Greece. We were upgraded to a spectacular room with a huge balcony and private pool. The service was always fantastic and the food never disappointed. The shuttle to their private section of the beach was great as was the option to take a complimentary bus into town which we did a couple of nights. Overall beautiful resort and unforgettable experience.
Absolutely astounding hotel views, with incredibly courteous staff. An awesome experience with 5-star hotel level of service. I recommend staying here with the highest regards - it was truly a utopian dream.
The service is world class. Fantastic views and food.
The view here is stunning, you are set away from the busy and party areas of Mykonos atop one of the hilly areas of Mykonos, the view from the hotel is looking down into the ocean and over the beaches. The beaches here are gorgeous and not over crowed like the rest of Mykonos. If you are interested into the party scene they have a really nice shuttle bus that goes into Mykonos Town very often. The restaurants, bars and everything on the premise is top notch. Hospitality is definitely their strong point.
I would like to start off with the positive thanks to the Restaurant staff! Very warm and fun staff that will go out of your way to make sure you have what you want. The Manager was superb, being warm and friendly and even surprising us with a few drinks. Also the rest of the restaurant staff is extremely nice! Breakfast was perfect with many options. There are are plenty of Vegetarian options in the restaurant. We had a lovely welcome. The property is a beautiful eco-chic style to make you feel at ease and relaxed as soon as you step food on the grounds, every inch is carefully thought out, many hidden corners for you to enjoy, from relaxing to swimming or working out with the view of the ocean. There are 3 Myconian resorts on the property yet you feel like you are in a boutique hotel and still have access to all 3 of them. The only draw back is that since it was opening weekend some ingredients were still missing from the pool bar which made it harder for us to order and one of our servers there was not very helpful, luckily the other servers were quicker to respond and offer something else.
