Musical Theatre Works: A Professional Broadway Experience for Young Actors
Musical Theatre Works (MTW) is a San Francisco-based company that has been offering professional Broadway show experiences for young actors for over 24 years. MTW provides a unique opportunity for students from Kindergarten to 9th grade to sing, dance and act on stage, under the guidance of professional directors and designers.
At MTW, we believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of theatre. Our programs are designed to provide young actors with a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their creativity, develop their skills, and build confidence both on stage and off.
Our team of experienced professionals includes directors, choreographers, musical directors, set designers, costume designers and more. They work together to create an immersive theatrical experience that transports audiences into another world.
We offer a wide range of programs throughout the year including summer camps, after-school classes and weekend workshops. Each program is tailored to meet the needs of different age groups and skill levels so that every student can find their place in our community.
Our summer camps are particularly popular among parents looking for an engaging activity during school breaks. These camps run for two weeks each summer and culminate in a full-scale production featuring all campers.
In addition to our regular programs, we also offer private coaching sessions for students who want one-on-one attention from our experienced instructors. These sessions are perfect for students who want extra help preparing audition pieces or working on specific skills like singing or dancing.
