Ive been going here to practice with some bands and have jammed out in their hourly practice spaces.
Rental prices are a little much but as long as you have band mates the amount isnt as much.
The temporary practice spaces are nice. They have some cool gear and the hourly change isnt to bad either. I think at most it was like 100 bucks for 2 or so hours.
The spaces can range anywhere from a bedroom size room to somewhat of a studio room.
Youll find all sorts of people on break outside during the day and night.
The only problem is parking. If youre lucky you get pretty close parking. If youre not. Youll be parking almost a block or two away from the location.
So make sure to unload your gear and bring it to the room before you park. They have carts inside that will make transporting your gear a lot easier. You could probably fit a whole drum kit on the carts.

Absolutely great. I can play through thousand dollar amps while my 4 year old son bashes on the drums at full volume (with hearing protection, of course) all for less than $20 an hour. Love it.

We get effective rehearsals in all the time. The supplied backline works good enough to allow us to focus on our basics. We know what we will get for our $$. The staff is great. Always accommodating and helpful. Parking is only an issue at peak times.

I've been going here since 2011 and...this place is incredible! Amazing gear (I do the soldano and the twin reverb, yum), helpful and supportive staff, I honestly wish I could live here, but then they'd hate me ; ) Best of all GREAT PRICES - for $7/hr/person you get access to the finest shell kits, the finest cymbals, a top notch guitar and bass backline and a very nice sounding PA. Book here for your next rehearsal. Do it. Tell them I sent you, that is if you don't already see me there : )

Its a good place to practice. The times ive gone its been a hit or miss. The band i go with always has technical difficulties with the half stacks they provide. The saving grace is that most of the staff is knowledgable and able to fix the issue, but i cant say the same about the rest, most are good but a handful of the staff makes the experience unenjoyable.

I love recording here. The place stays clean. There isnt a bunch of people in the halls making it hard for you to record. My engineer is Versus. He's very patient with me while I record and he always give me good advice when it comes to makeing good music. I give this place 5 stars and the people there 10.

Blown away by my first practice at Music Garage. Top quality gear all set up and waiting for us, the staff was friendly and totally unobtrusive. We walked in, rocked for 3 hours, paid, and walked out, carrying nothing but guitars. If you don't own a space where you can play long and loud, then this is where you should be.
