An absolutely incredible musical experience. Some of the finest young musicians get together with the top performers in the world right next to one of the most beautiful beaches. The performances are riveting, and the crowds are large and engaged. Not to be missed.

Visited the two stores in the back of the main campus. Really nice places to get some high wuality vintage and current clothing for men and women at great prices. The other store sells household items. Really nice volunteer ladies runs the stores.

Really good place to visit and create musical. I know you have to get a scholarship to come here as a student... Or a very good musician

The Music Academy of the West is elegant, refined, and beautiful. It is a "first class" place. I went to the Facebook Seminar there. The staff and catered food were excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The grounds are green and well maintained. One caveat, make certain you have great GPS because this jewel is hard to find.

While walking through, a man ran by us who had just stolen a cows skull, from a clothing store on coast village road.

Nice venue. Good parking. Nice entry patio to relax.

Irene Cummings, Alumna of 1950 and 1952, has had a notable career on TV with the Tennessee Ernie Ford show and Opera throughout the United States and has given back to the MAW property in her Estate.

I went to one of the master classes in this case for the viola. Three classical pieces were performed each with a different pairing of pianists and viola players. After each piece a faculty member gives feedback to the string player fellow, the fellows being excellent musicians, often graduates from musics schools including Juilliard, who have auditioned for place in this summer program. The ticket office was helpful, price very reasonable, and the moderately sized beautiful campus a pleasant place to be. I felt I got a sense of seeing what goes into learning an instrument and how musicians communicate the finer points of music-making between each other and with their teachers.

My husband and I enjoy attending the Master Class sessions. Lovely campus, outstanding young musicians from around the world and perceptive instructors -- wonderful.

I attended the academy this last time for a summer event they put together with the United Way. It is amazing that the Music Academy lends its grounds and talented musicians for the Fun in the Sun program! Thank you!
The place is always well kept, clean, serene and peaceful.

Great place to hold rehearsals for local choral groups. I have been singing there for years and it is a beautiful facility.

Saw the Music Academy of the West winners Christina Guica, piano and Hannah Kidwell, soprano perform..it was spectacular!
