What a waste of time!,Was hoping to see it on my last visit to Paris..closed for renovations! So her I am 2 year's later and turned up at 1.30 for the 2.00pm Tour. Had an overpriced coffee at Maxims cafe. Asked Maitre'd where tour starts and he said outside Maxim's Restaurant. Waited out front at 1.50, 2.00pm came,2.10. Three workers entered the Restaurant and locked the door after them and nothing said after clearly seeing We were waiting. Decided to go into the overpriced gift shop and was Told "No Tours Anymore'??? Gave up and left. Nothing on website which has probably now said closed by the time people read this review. If you go and read other people's reviews as well, they all complain about guide not turning up and not knowing much about collection. Don't waste your time or money here or at Maxims. It is a money Grabbing overpriced Tourist Trap. Shame on this Iconic? Establishment.

Very cool collection. Take time to walk the streets around here. Cool little neighborhood!

we arrived at 17:00 and were told it is closing at 17:45 with unpleasant tone, they almost didn t let us in. After 17:38 we were followed by all staff just repeating we must go. Few parts were closed due to reconstruction, nowhere written.

I can understand that the price of 25 may cool some down, but tell yourself that they will be very well invested in this visit to an atypical, unique and above all period museum. A feast for the eyes and for the ears if you are a minimum sensitive to the oratorical art perfectly mastered by the curator of the museum (who will be your guide) and who, thus, will make you travel during more than 1h15 (my visit having duration 1h35) at the start of a 20th. I strongly recommend this visit for any amateur (like me) and passionate about art nouveau.
