Shameful ... Access roads closed, basin emptied, greenhouse closed, exhibition building closed, maintenance does not exist but on the other hand full price for the visit ... Really very disappointed! More than 2 hours of road for a wasteland ... Neither the official site, nor the FB page informed us that the park was pruning a tree and carrying out work ... Even less at the entrance ... Parisian mentality!
Go your way!

Normally, it is a beautiful place but unfortunately this garden museum has been under construction for a long time & for a while longer ..... in principle it should be even more beautiful in 2018.
It will be necessary to go there absolutely to admire the various gardens, in particular the Japanese garden, but also for the treasures of Albert Khan & all the novelties.

The museum is currently under construction (September 2019, until 2021), we can just visit the garden, a must because it is beautiful

Garden which concentrates on 4 hectares different types of gardens: English near the entrance, Japanese, Chinese, French; and the whole forms a coherent and harmonious whole .

The visit of the garden alone takes about 2 hours if you want to enjoy it. Even if it does not include the greenhouse or the interior of Japanese houses, it also works, we come out filled with so much wealth and beauty! To visit again, especially when the renovation of the museum, greenhouse and houses will be completed.

Spectacular garden near the Saint Cloud bridge. French rose garden, mountain woods, Gipponese garden with typical Japanese houses. Very shady and pleasant for a nice and relaxing walk. The price is also decidedly low.

Visit during heritage days. Nice walk. The Japanese garden is very well done, there are plenty of small paths. The 'forests' make us forget that we are in town! I did a course of about 1.2km. So I think we can stay an hour without problems. I did not pay that day but if the entrance is good at 4 it is well worth the price.

The peace of an environment that creates art from living nature. An essential place to visit for all those who love gardening. Unfortunately they had no information on Albert Kahns time at Carbis Bay in Cornwall.

I do not understand the other opinions. The history of this garden is certainly well known by two guides who show us around this place. But a heavy atmosphere and bordering on curses haunts this place ... I explain, the two people who make the visit are relentless, devoid of sensitivity. Although they perfectly know the history of the place, they did not hesitate to leave two poor ladies outside the gates because it was a minute late to pay at the cash register which is located 100 meters from the entrance to the garden and therefore of the guided route.
Personally, I would never stay there again and I really doubt the veracity of other reviews. The two guides are unimaginably cold. My visit to this place dates back two years.

Very pretty garden, with several atmospheres throughout the walk. Paths allow you to discover these worlds and a few small paths give you the impression of venturing into the woods. Special mention to the surveillance agents who are very welcoming and turn in the alleys of the park to keep the ambient calm.

"Gardens" different that follow each other: Japanese, Vosges, French, aquatic, English, rose garden. It's pretty crazy to go from one world to another at the turn of a turn.
Koi carp of impressive size!
Unfortunately the greenhouse was closed.
We did not stop at the exhibition. An other time.

Free for students!

The gardens are beautiful and well worth a visit especially in the fall.
The only downside to our visit was the person at the entrance who was in charge of checking reservations. A rude person like the Earth has never seen, who does not know how the garden website works and who allows himself to make more than inappropriate thoughts.
It is important that the garden reviews how customers are received!

My favourite garden in Paris. Perfect with its French and English gardens, amazing with its Japanese side. Check their web page for the summer "Happenings". I will forever remember a stunning sunset here, around cocktails made with roses, sushis made with roses and flowers and exquisite rose made macarons!

The museum part is closed so a reduction on the entrance fee, 3 euros instead of 4. Very beautiful garden. The replenishment of the basins is scheduled for in a month. Nice pleasant visit despite this. We will come back.

Garden visited yesterday at the end of the afternoon, deplorable reception, the guard at the entrance is arrogant and insulting, he has no sense of interpersonal skills and does not know how to express himself as a civilized and courteous person with visitors, visit is disturbed by several security guards who track visitors (especially for the mask). In addition, we are asked to leave 20 minutes before closing time and the security guard stays in front of you until you go to the exit, it's a shame because the garden is very beautiful and would be much nicer to visit if it was not as poorly guarded and guarded

An incredible garden, which is in fact an association of several gardens presenting species of plants from different regions of the world. A haven of peace, we quickly forget that we are in the middle of the Paris region.

Very beautiful Japanese garden but part of the garden is in maintenance and part of the small river is dried up .... much less poetic but realistic because a Japanese garden requires a lot of maintenance contrary to appearances!

About Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn

Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn: Discover the World through Images and Gardens

The Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn is a unique cultural institution located in Boulogne-Billancourt, France. It was opened to the public on April 2, 2022, after five years of extensive renovation work. The museum is spread over four hectares of land and features a combination of new buildings and restored historical structures that pay homage to the site's rich history.

The museum was founded by Albert Kahn, a prominent banker and philanthropist who had a passion for photography. He believed that images could be used as a tool for promoting peace and understanding between different cultures. To this end, he commissioned photographers to travel around the world and capture images of people from different countries.

Today, the Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn continues this legacy by showcasing an impressive collection of photographs from around the world. Visitors can explore various galleries dedicated to different regions such as Japan, China, India, Africa, Europe and America.

One of the highlights of the museum is its autochrome collection - one of the largest in the world - which features early color photographs taken between 1907-1931. These stunning images provide an insight into life during that period in history.

In addition to its photographic collections, visitors can also enjoy exploring its beautiful gardens which are designed to reflect different landscapes from around the world such as English gardens or Japanese gardens. The garden also includes several pavilions where visitors can learn about traditional architecture styles from various countries.

The Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn has been designed with accessibility in mind so that everyone can enjoy it regardless of their age or physical ability. There are guided tours available for those who want more information about specific exhibits or areas within the museum.

Overall, if you're looking for an immersive cultural experience that will take you on a journey around the world through images and gardens then look no further than Musée et jardins Albert-Kahn!
