Very interesting temporary exhibition Toulouse under the Renaissance (16th century) with detailed comments.
A beautiful museum in a former Augustinian monastery. A must for every Toulouse visit.
A beautiful museum with some magnificent works: Notre-Dame de Grasse, in particular.
Magnificent museum, friendly warm welcome, dynamic and friendly.
Amazing location, interesting collection, a big potential to handle
A little neglected for a time of many visitors and with the painting exhibition closed ... I think it had better times
Apparently there is a permanent exhibition, which is the main part of the building and is free to enter, and another part with temporary exhibitions and such is paying.
We only accessed the free part and I must say that with that it is already worth visiting. Not only is it beautiful, but it also has interactive posters and screens that explain the place and its history, which surprised me and seemed wonderful (because it is the free part, too!).
Fantastic and behind we found a very beautiful Garden.
Its a good place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. It s a museum. Lots of nice statues to view. Religious themed. Nice big painting as well.
Beautiful museum located in an old cloister which is worth walking around in by itself. When temperatures rise in summer, the Hall of Paintings is sometimes closed for visitors in the afternoon. Go early or call in advance. The Hall is worth it.
Magnificent museum with a temporary exhibition of very good qualities as well as splendid statues' Don't miss it, it's worth the trip
The building is more beautiful to see than the paintings it contains. On the other hand the temporary exhibition "windows on course" is really worth seeing.
One of the most beautiful museums in Toulouse! Exhibitions to discover every year.
Really enjoyed the museum, especially the cloisters and the architecture.
In the church and the cloister in particular.
Don't miss the marquee room, or the recently restored superb Virgin and Child
A must-visit! Just beautiful! And don't forget to stroll around the garden !
Evaluation not entirely positive as many rooms are closed
Beautiful example of the cultural wealth of Toulouse. Very not welcome
One of the most beautiful museum I have visited in France, remarkable, in every way! The works, the place, everything is absolutely beautiful!
Great place to visit with many interesting sculptures and a courtyard to sit! Go on a Wednesday and you can get back in to see the organist play (free with admission).
Very nice but problem to enter. We almost didn't visit it because of the staff search. We saw a lot of people turn around because they didn't want to let us in if we had a backpack.
Historical monument of Toulouse which esttres pleasant to visit for the works and the small walk in the court. Transat available, drawing workshops, etc.
Great pizzas. Good value for money. Heartwarming welcome.
Wonderful, the building, the permanent collection, the route, the attention and the content make this place a moment to sublimate art.
Great mediaeval collection. Free entrance for students. Unfortunately the painting collection is closed to visitors at this moment for refurbishment
They have interesting things, depending on the exhibition in turn, it is worth finding out and shop around.
The museum is wonderful with diverse pieces from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Nice place with the only regret of having a large part banned for renovation at the time of my visit - October 2018.
A nice museum, free on the first Sunday of the month, many things to see for all ages and all tastes.
Beautiful place, beautiful. Animation for friendly children
Worth cloister, Church, sculptures, paintings, all in one place
Very nice museum, very interesting and very beautiful architecture.
Great museum, organ concert every Wednesday evening
I could see an ancient sculpture close by and felt the history
Interesting exhibition on Toulouse art during the Renaissance. Although some rooms are closed beautiful arrangement of works combining religious art and modern staging .. Staff present and listening to questions from an 11-year-old teenager ...
Very nice museum with works very well restored and its small garden very soothing.
Atypical museum with a sublime and relaxing cloister.
Absolutely worth visiting, such a retrait from the city, exceptionally beautiful in sunny days not to mention its collections!
The oldest museum in Toulouse and one of the oldest in France. A must-see for tourists and locals. Nicely located and calm. Great collection of art from all over the Midi-Pyrenees area. Worth the detour.
Beautiful museum, an old convent turned into an art museum, the works very well preserved, the friendly and attentive staff, it has areas with workshops and the kids have areas for them, it hurts that I could not see all the works, the first floor It is under renovation and is closed to the public.
Really interesting museum to visit in Toulouse that used to be a monastery.
Free the first Sunday of every month. To visit before spring because later it will close its doors for a time for renovation
I really like this museum, which I am beginning to know well, I have been there so much ...
Very interesting selection of works, including Renoir and the grand painting of Mehmet II entering Constantinople in 1453.
The collection is not great, but the building is very beautiful inside. Certainly worth the visti.
Beautiful museum. Nice place & very friendly staff. To discover absolutely !!!
I love this museum .... some work at the moment that does not detract from the charm of his exhibitions
I do not really understand the "old days", but I liked the museum.
A nice stroll on Sunday morning with the pleasant surprise of finding free entry.
There are many sculpture works. Paintings often have dark tones. I don't like it much personally.
The best is the room that has Roman art. In winter it is a rock not to be able to visit all the places of the museum for repairs.
Wonderful. It is a place that should not be missed. Both the funds and the building itself are story. Essential. No.
very nice inside, a visit if you go to Toulouse; besides the price of the visit it is quite affordable for 4
