A Harbor is a good place to put a Museum about the fishing industry. This is a great place for ships and boats lovers...They have a huge display of vessels past to present.
lots of ficlshing ships maquets, you can visit a real fishing ship too
Very nice and got the chance to visit the real boat
We came to visit and been told that there is family tour on Tuesday and we don't have to sign!
as we arrived on Tuesday morning,
we found out the we had to book the tour before!
unfortunately the tour was fully booked and we were disappointed !
Miscommunication with visitors!
Quite good. There is a fishing boat you can go on and the museum is larger than it initially looks. There is an info book in English if you ask at the counter.
Took grandson in there, he loved it, easy to miss the door that leads to the Trawler. Lots to look at but not all had dual language descriptions of the displayed items. I had, over previous visits, walked passed thinking it could not be much, for 5 euros, pleasantly surprised.
Fantastic time. The whole family enjoyed the visit (2 adults, 2 young children). The decommissioned fishing boat was especially good.
great place to visit in a wonderful corner of France. Rough countryside but lovely people and great food of course.
What a surprise! One would think something not too exciting, but wow! The models showing net fishing development and how they deploy in 3 dimensions are awesome. But the highlight is the fishing boat you can go on yourself. The bridge has switches and buttons that will amaze you that you can touch and switch. The engine room is a treat and as an American I realized the no damn way would you be able to have that kind of access in a culture obsessed with liability and suing. What a treat!
