We had to do a reservation a day in advance to get a table at this location. It was very easy to find however I would say if you re living close by it s better to walk to the restaurant. We tried the soup and a house salad to begin our dinner. The salad portion was not that big but was very tasteful and fresh. Crispy onion salmon was really exclusive and I enjoyed every bite. According to my cousin the roasted half chicken which he had was the best roasted chicken he have had ever tasted. Pesto linguine was good too. The white chocolate bread pudding is a must try in the server brought us vanilla bean ice cream for the kids. I wish they had more options for the kids which is something I believe the management should look into.

Hats off to the chef.

Our server was a bit slow but it was worth it.

Really nice place! The inside was absolutely gorgeous, really unlike any restaurant I've seen before. The food was very good however mine was not hot when I got it and my friend actually sent one side back because it was cold. The staff was really proactive about fixing it though and removed several items from the bill for our troubles. Ultimately I'd recommend!

If you're in New Orleans, don't miss out on this spot. Quiet, relaxing, classy joint with exceptional wait staff and out of this world food.
You have to try the turtle soup. Don't turn your nose up at the thought... Just tell them Mickey says to get the turtle soup and you'll understand why... There's nothing like it on earth.
My wife and I eat here every time we visit New Orleans, and eat here every day during our visits.
Once you visit Muriel's, you'll be coming back again and again.
If you're lucky, you'll sit at the bar and get the individualized attention of the bartenders. They don't mind helping you find other great places to visit and providing more than just great food, drinks and smiles. Nicole left a lasting impression on my wife.
Expect the best when visiting Muriel's.

Beautiful restaurant. All of the food and wine was delicious. Great location. Excellent service. The ghost table is a little awkward since people could be sitting and eating at it when/if you want to see it. For me, this takes away from the lure and experience. That aside it's a great place to eat. As a restaurant, would recommend.

Wonderful lunch spot! We wanted to try one of the balcony restaurants while visiting New Orleans and I am more than happy we went to Muriel s Jackson Square.
It was incredibly wonderful and romantic sitting outside in the sun and looking over Jackson Square. The food was great, so were the drinks.
Loved the atmosphere!
When we left we saw some other dining rooms and I have so say, that this is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever seen. Every room looks different and is so gorgeous!
Highly recommended!

One of the best places I've been too! Great atmosphere upstairs in the bar lounge area! So bohemian and cozy. Oh and on top of that the BEST FREAKING bred pudding you will ever try!!!! You will not be disappointed

Will definitely go again! I had a wedge salad and gumbo. Both were a 10. There were 8 of us. I was too busy happy with my food to know what others ordered. Service was very good. Decor was excellent. Dividers between tables gave a sense of privacy. Clean bathroom. Good location near Jackson Square.

Stop in to see Antoine, and stay for the food. This has been my favorite dining experience so far in New Orleans. The ambiance, food , and staff are top shelf. The meal took almost two hours for all 3 courses. We never felt rushed and the timing of the courses was perfect. Mo

We stumbled upon our favorite New Orleans restaurant because I failed to secure any other reservations. After an evening riverboat cruise, we had a reservation for a very late dinner at 9:45. But it was so worth it.
The food was great; shrimp and goat cheese crepes for an app, I had the shrimp and grits (which turned out to be my number one favorite, I consider myself a connoisseur of shrimp and grits, y'all Muriel's are the best). Bread pudding for dessert, was amazing. My friend had the creme brulee, which was simple, classic, and delicious.
We made friends with 2 couples seated nearby. One always stayed in the city for their anniversary and gave us some tips. The other were two friends, one of whom lived in the city. After dinner, she played "tour guide", and showed us the ghost's table then the upstairs lounge.
Overall, the best dining experience we had while visiting the city. I will certainly eat at Muriel's again on our next visit.
