Multi-Purpose Center, VSU - Comcast Spectacor Review

Fantastic, simple and easy... if you follow the line, and you are on-time, they get you in and out quicky! Thank you for having restrooms outside before going in the center!

It was ok for the first time going to a basketball game we had good seats a little pricey but that is how it goes when you do things like that

Great regional multipurpose facility. Was here most recently for a covid-19 vaccination which was a great success and a phenomenal use if the facility!

My review of the the VSU Multicenter specifically targets the experience I had today there getting my 1st COVID-19 vaccination. My appointment was at 5pm. As I arrived the line stretched outside in the frond and to the left. It was really long and it was raining. The personnel in attendance were riding golf carts and offering everyone rain ponchos. I thought that was awesome! A policeman reassured us that the line had been moving steadily and that from my position on the sidewalk (see photo) it should be about 20,30 minutes before I'd be in the building. Once in there everything was very efficient and well organized. First of all you register for your second shot, second you take your shot, third you wait 15 minutes for any possible side effects and then you can leave with your vaccination card . I was very impressed by how well everything went and how well people worked together!!! Again thanks to all who made this possible for all of us.

Loved it big arena went here for a megan thee stallion concert really enjoyed it alot of college students they turned up all the way .Will return for more concerts and shows

Do yourself a huge favour and come back at least an hour ago because the line is huge throughout the whole parking lot

I WENT RECENTLY FOR MY FIRST DOSE OF THE COVID-19 VACCINE

I went there for my job's annual Christmas party, and it was very nice! The room is very spacious, with plenty of room for the food and dessert tables, and plenty of room for dancing, and plenty of room for everyone to sit. There was plenty of parking spaces outside, and the atmosphere inside was pleasant. I enjoyed myself there. And from using that venue, and seeing that they're able to do so, in one room, they've decided to use it again, with all employees having one Christmas party together next time, instead of splitting it up into a two night event, which would be great!

VSU OPEN HOUSE was held here. It was awesome! Spacious

Arrogant and inclusive,if you're black. As a white visitor,I was treated as an annoyance. Not anywhere I'd EVER visit again. Not worth the hate or the trip. Stay home!!!!!!!

Vaccine shot in and out less than an hour this morning. Well organized

Beautiful building. Matoaca held their high school graduation there in 2019. Much better than Richmond, not as far to travel and not so much of a parking problem. Plus they had traffic control ready on hand to address any issues.

We received our covid vaccine here. It was well staffed, organized and a great job by all.

Thankful to the staff and vols running the covid clinic. In and out for my 2nd shot in 40 min. Thanks to VSU for providing the site and logistics!

Great staff very kind and helpful and the venue is so nice!

Every thing went smooth they were organized area were set if you had conditions you were able and required to sit at least 10 to 15 mins they wanted to make sure that you were ok before you left

Had my 2nd dose of Covid vaccine. Very well organized and the Staff was excellant.

Attended a meeting here and the facility was great. The seats were actually pretty comfortable and it was clean and nice.

We went for the house show of WWE Live! And the 4 of us had a great time! They had beer, wine, drinks, and different kinds of food. The match up of wrestlers was great! We had second row seats so the view was awesome! The only thing I didnt like was my little brother who is only 12. Waited in line behind 1 person and 1 person was behind my brother. They only had a few things left being this was during the break the event took. The guy at the counter gave 1 of 2 burgers left to him, rang him up, and now our turn. This guy straight up looked at us didnt ask us how can I help or what can I get for you, NOTHING! Dismissed us and asked the guy behind us what he could do for him and gave him the last burger, rang him up and sent him on his way. Think I had attitude, of course I did. We asked for a burger he said I dont have anymore. I said well if you had served us next in line we wouldn't have this problem. He said its first come first serve. I said you took the person infront of us then looked at us when it was our turn and acted like we weren't standing there. He said that was his friend behind us and he didnt see us standing there. First off kudos for having the balls to say it honestly and in a heavy security building where I was forced to keep my mouth shut and remember we paid $500 for our seats. Secondly, when you take on the roll to get paid to serve people at an event you are getting paid that means you have a job and you dont play or have friends. When you see people in line dont say well that's my friend and I didnt see you. That means your lying you did see us but your friend probably texted you and you were holding onto that burger for him. Anywhere else you do that your fired. That means you do not pass go and you do not collect $200! The event was awesome but the person serving people at the register's was not! I hope this young man gets it together and realizes that's not OK and someday he will know the feeling!

I went to get my COVID-19 shot and the process was very smooth, organized, and quick! I'm proud of my alma mater.

Wonderful facility. Great for indoor graduations. You won't miss an event due to inclement weather and lack of f/u date.

Went here for covid vaccine. Well organized event. Longest part was waiting in line, and even that was moving fast. Seemed like a great facility to use for such an event.

Seats were decently comfortable. I assume they were unprepared for the event because the lack of direction made parking a nightmare.

Outstanding job they have done.

Total time was about 1 hours 20 minutes...That included 15 min. post-shot reaction time...If you go today or tomorrow, carry an umbrella as you will be waiting outside...Personnel were very pleasant and overall experience was good....

I was there for my covid vaccine. I've updated my review from the first shot on 3/18 which was very slow and got 3 stars to the second which was much much faster and better organized. I highly recommend getting your Covid shot at VSU. They were providing the Pfizer vaccine.

Long line for Covid-19 vaccination. I do what family says is best but I think those that did not want a vaccine should register as a control group to those on the vaccine.

Very easy for elderly to use. Professional, efficient, friendly. Really doesn't feel like such a large crowd.

Went for Covid-19 vaccine. Helpful staff and clearly marked directions. Appears to be very clean and well maintained. A pretty pleasant experience considering. This was my second time here and it was a little better this time since there weren't as many people as the first time. I don't know anything about VSU, but everything I saw looked very nice.

We had an excellent experience. Very smooth transition from station to station where you check in, go get your vaccine, then wait 15 to 30 min. To make sure there's no side effects, then you can leave.

It was a very nice and clean place to go to, all of the staff are very friendly and are doing a fantastic job for the people, I thank them all very much
