Great time. Kids loved the pool. Had a blast in the vortex pool and water slide. Had a hard time getting them out at closing. Swam for 4 hours.
My son's taking swimming classes. They were good Nice outdoor play area. Big gymnasium for things like basketball or maybe volleyball or badminton. The roller skating rink is a cool future, uncommon.
Small weight lifting area is nice.
We use one of the event spaces for birthday party. It's really no frills you got to bring your own decorations and things like that but it was nice you can have a pool party for your little kiddos for a birthday or another occasion.
I only visited for the water part of Mt. Scott Community Center, I was very impressed. Not only was there a wide assortment of water activities, a pool, small "non-lazy river", "tornado"(which is a small circular pool that spins in a tornado fashion), a water slide, hot tub, lap pool and rope, but the entire place felt clean and well maintained and watched. There were multiple life guards watching every corner of the place, very capable of helping kids, or adults, in need. I very much enjoyed my short visit here and would definitely recommend!
We had a great time swimming here. My kids could stand in most parts of the pool here. Young kids are allowed to Go down the slide sitting on their parents laps. They provide cool floaty is for the kids to use for free. They allow you to bring your own life fests and flotillas from home. They have 3 family changing rooms that you can use. They also have The women section and the men section that you could use instead. All these areas are provided with showers And toilets for you to use. This place is a lot of fun and it is a reasonable price.
Amazing community center and pool. Family swim is great for people with younger children and open swim is fun for everyone. The slide, channel walk, whirlpool and water works are fun for kids of all ages. The center also offers a selection of classes for kids and adults. From fitness to archery there is a class for everyone. The indoor roller rink makes for a great rainy day activity.
Very fun indoor pool! Waterslide, lap pool, pretty strong lazy river, rope swing, fun kiddie pool area with water feature and hot tub for the adults. Great place to spend a warm summer day! Reasonably priced too! For drop ins it is $4 for kids, $4.50 for teens & adults and $5.75 for adults. If you go M-F you can do family swim and open play swim back to back from 12-3:30.
We had a great time at the pool! The free swim time may get a but crowded at times, but if you have kids, they will have a blast!
They even let me take my 11 month old daughter down the big slide! She was the happiest baby ever for a good 2 hours.
We cant go swimming or workout because of covid but I heard they were using it for a homeless shelter I hope they all followed covid guidelines. We pay taxes for a community center the state needs to open up or give us some taxes back!
Loved it... I'm a legend there! That's me in the left-hand corner doing Flys in the weight room. I remember going roller skating for $0.10 an hour when I was a kid
