Over many years have been buying your product, but will not be doing so in future. I have seen a slow deterioration in its quality. Has there been a change of ownership of the business?.
I purchased your Chicken "Schnitzel" and it was terrible. For your information, as far as I can ascertain, a "schnitzel" is defined as a relatively thin piece of meat fried in fat and generaly crumbed. The meat is usually thinned by pounding with a meat tenderiser. Not circa 3/4 inch thick as I got today. The chicken was tough and I felt like I was constantly chewing cartlidge. I wondered how old that "chicken" was.........a relic of an egg farm?
I will be making my own in future, and certainly not using Mt Barker chicken breasts.

Had two 1 kg lots of Mt Barker Chicken drumsticks. Not a single drumstick had any lingering feathers. High quality! Please pass my appreciation to those who are doing the job and Q&A. Keep up the good work! Thanks.

Hi Team,

Hi Team,
I've decided to let you know that I've thrown away all your Ready to Cook product 'Honey Soy Kebab' skewers, due to disgusting odor after cooking. I bought that from Woolworths and cooked it on the day. Surprisingly, it's not the first time but the second time I've experienced. I thought that it was just a bad batch from the first purchase but then it was the same odor producing 'rotten egg' smell from the second package my wife bought. I'm a kind of person who doesn't waste any food and ensure that we eat what we buy. However, I can't stand it for both occurrences. I think you guys need to seriously investigate the quality control in the production line.
Unfortunately, all your products are now off my shopping list.
Regards,

I have supported Mount Barker Chicken for a long time, with the belief they are ethical and humane. I recently lost a good and apparently very strong tooth as a result of eating a Mt Barker Chicken sausage with a bone it it. I have since learned these people have been outed for cruel and inhumane practices with diseased chickens, cannibalism and also illegal workers. I lost a perfectly good tooth to a seemingly corrupt and unethical money spinning organisation... hard to take.
I had a visit on the past weekend from a young girl who was an illegal worker on a supposed "free range" chicken farm and she advised me, these farms receive notification from authorities when there is to be an inspection. This is when they free there chickens. Prior to this they are packed so tight into cages, they peck each other to death, hence the cannibalism!! And they employ illegal workers as the illegal workers are unlikely to advise authorities due to being "illegal" workers. Sickening!!!

Bought some of these chicken wings. Absolutely smashed to pieces.
Bone fragments everywhere. Not the work of a butcher.
Disgusting. Won't buy this overpriced rubbish again.
Still spitting out pieces.
