Buying from MSI is a gamble. Got a GT62VR 6RE that turned up with a factory-defective 1070 GPU (crashes under load @ default settings) which made it essentially unusable. This is a well-documented issue with early batches of this model so it's not one of those isolated problems. Was in contact with CS for three months now and it's been stuck in limbo. Every time I have to call in to get an update (which has essentially been wait while they look into it), otherwise there is no follow-up from MSI CS. Luckily, there is a workaround via software under-clocking so I've been able to use the laptop, just not at the GPU's full spec. Just recently, about a year into operation, both GPU and CPU fans failed a week apart from each other. I now have a feeling the whole thing might explode soon even with the fans replaced. MSI has serious QA/QC issues coupled with inadequate CS.
