What has happened?? I went back home and picked up a few bags of the chips I loved as a kid, hoping my family could enjoy them. Folks, something is amiss here. Totally awry. Askew even. Downright cattywampus. These are NOT the same. A piece of my childhood has died. My wife pointed out that the bag says women owned now. I'm all for that and what not. However, she pointed it out, saying that maybe the new owners are women who decided on a "healthier option"....but now there really is no option, because these pathetic things now taste EXACTLY like every other chip out there. Hello? What made them so great was that unmistakable taste. Mr. Bee, I bid thee farewell. There will never "Bee" another like the original.

I am from Ohio and travel to West Virginia often during race season. I stopped for a snack and tried Mister Bee Potato Chips. They were so tasty!! We have some local companies that use to taste delicious, but they have gone down hill. I cannot wait till I come back to W.V..

I grew up on this chip and was really excited to order online. Waiting and tracking my package was almost .ore than I could bear. To my utter disappointment when the package arrived half of the contents were flattened in shipping, the box was barely intact. Spending more on shipping than the actual product I expected more. Very disappointing

I grew up on Mr Bee potato chips in Parkersburg. They were amazing! They just had a special taste and texture that you couldn t get anywhere else. But somewhere over the last few years they changed something and they taste like every other chip out there. They lost the special . It is like buying disappointment in a bag.
Several years back, in 2006, Mister Bee owners changed the oil to go in a healthier direction. Went to cottonseed oil. Everyone complained about it because it changed the taste and texture. They said they would not go back to the old oil. Once people stopped buying them and they started losing money, they went back.
In 2015 Mister Bee was sold out of the original family. The new owners changed the oil again. Call it a craft chip and tout it as Woman Owned. (Great that a woman is driving the company, if it was still a good product.) Now it tastes like a Lay s wannabe. If they wanted to screw with the recipe, why not leave the original alone and create a separate line or flavor that is labeled as being healthier or whatever. Personally, I want my old Mr Bees back. Call them Mister Bee original classic, or something like that. If I wanted a healthy snack I would buy a freaking bag of carrots.
Anyway, another piece of my childhood gone because people have to mess with a recipe that ain t broke. Will not buy them again.

I have been eating Mister Bee since I was little. I can't get them in the Columbus ,Ohio area but when I go to Southeastern Ohio , I pick up a bag or two. They taste much better than the local chips here.

Twice I have bought sour cream and onion chips from this brand and they have been just plain potato chips. No sour nor cream. I am very disappointed because the other hand full of times I have bought them they were amazing.
