Movie Park Germany Review

We were with 3 young people (13-16) on site. The journey itself was easy, parking space search as well. For people who like to ride trains it is an interesting park. As a companion, unfortunately, there are few opportunities that I have not experienced in any park so far. It makes sense to take provisions and drinks with you - this is definitely a major part of the sales achieved.
Our kids really liked the park itself - they personally did not like the live music or the parades.
Waiting times were ok, even though we were in the park on a holiday.

Nice park waiting times are doable. Advantage often you can go in on 1 ticket for 2 days.

Many unfriendly staff. The bracket was not checked on a roller coaster. You were not allowed to take your bag to the beetle track, this was not at the entrance to the track, after an hour of waiting sent away by unfriendly staff. Several attractions out of use. At an attraction where there was a malfunction, this was only passed on after half an hour of waiting. Fast passes way too expensive. Admission of 45.50 far too expensive for what you get for it. Small parking place at the entrance that is quickly full. The other parking lot more than a kilometer away.

Nah am Ruhrgebiet, could use a refresher, renovation. They try to copy the American Parks, but it remains in the attempt. I know both the american parks and this one. Yes you can visit him but I do not think I have to ...

I like it a lot because you can have a lot of fun with friends there

Have visited many parks, but if you have various coupons thanks (-50%) a very good value for money. Two adults just over 50 . Many roller coasters a tip is the Star Trek Bahn, please test even if you can not do anything with the setting. For the little ones there is the Nick Land where there is something for every age. Finally, a tip, online order is worthwhile, not only that you can directly into the park, without waiting at the checkout. But the parking ticket costs 6 on-site 7 would have been due. The drinks and the food were also in the frame and not too expensive.

Everything was fine. It was a great day. However, I have to deduct a star because it stinks with this Speedy ticket. There you feel in a 2 class society.

I so love a good theme park and Movie Park didn't disappoint. Good transport links to get to tge Park. Once you are at the park its very nicely set out making it very easy to get around. So much to do for little kids to big kids. Food wise a lot to choose from but the burgers are a bit ropey.

Overall the atmosphere was great and staff are very welcoming. Well worth a visit.

Fun amusement park, especially for "teenagers" although soon pawpatrol land will open and that already looked very nice.

Waiting times were ok, roller coasters entertaining, but a real cracker is missing.

We hebben ons een dag vermaakt maar er zijn ook heel veel kritische punten...de afstand vanaf de parkeerplaats (7 euro) naar de ingang is een beste voetmars...de hoofstraat is echt mooi en ondanks een paar opknapbeurten aan attracties blijft het park qua onderhoud mijlenver achter met bijvoorbeeld phantasialand.
Meerdere keren hebben we info moeten vragen over tijden,
Veel locaties zijn gewoon niet geopend, veel ongemotiveerd personeel wat bezoekers brutaal afbekt...personeel wat verder niks van het park afweet behalve waar ze staan..
Veel losliggend puin bij enkele attracties..
Je moet er zelf een leuke dag van maken want door het park wordt je zeker niet verwend...
Het viel op dat sommige attracties een opknapbeurt gehad hadden ....maar het contrast met de rest van het park blijft te groot...
Volgende keer weer phantasialand.

Very cool park for the children. Unfortunately, not all staff are always friendly. We also had to park very far away. Shuttle buses would have been a nice option.

Just mega my big 10 & 8 years old kids are allowed to drive almost everything alone and are alone all day while we are with the little 4 years and our twins the Nickland inquire. We are so thrilled that even for the second time an annual ticket was bought and we will come back more often next year. Also on Halloween where I really thought about the Halloween Monsters I can only say Kids were thrilled and the monster super nice and friendly. My kids were impressed. Waiting time at the individual rides were to endure even on some days it was so fast that it was within minutes.

With two children you go to your wallet, but one is great twice a year!

Wenn ihr dem Alltag trotz corona entfliehen wollt, dann seit ihr hier genau richtig. Man muss den Mitarbeitern und den Betreiber vom Movie Park danke sagen ! Trotz der corona Situation waren die Mitarbeiter immer freundlich nett und hilfsbereit. Es wurde jede Frage die man hatte beantwortet und immer auf die Hygienevorschriften und den Mindestabstand hingewiesen und aufmerksam gemacht.

Ein Tipp holt euch das VIP Ticket! Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

Movie Park an experience for the whole family. For the little ones there is a small theme park. You should plan the whole day, because you can schonmal 1 to 1.5 hours to get to an attraction. If you do not feel like waiting you buy the vip ticket for the ticket, so you can pass the queue. Price-performance is okay and best to take food.

Is always nice to go to the Movie Park, but it would be great if sometimes new shops would come to it! Everything is always the same, but the Halloween event is always great !!!

I love the Moviepark. I'm there more often, and always a new experience.

We were in the park during the week and it was great. We did not have to wait or queue, so we could really try every attraction. What surprised me a bit was the extra parking fee of 7 . If you buy the ticket, the parking should already be included.

Halloween 2019 - very cold and drizzle. But great actors with great. Costumes. I hope they were all actors Dar. Top Event in Europe. Every year again!!

Had a lot of trouble with wasps. The park doesn't do anything about this, so watch out with sweet food and drinks.

The park brings back a lot of childhood memories, but unfortunately, things got a bit dated. But for the entrance fee still worth a visit. Great shops and employees in the rides place value on detail. Were there for the horror night.
It was a great spectacle and partly nothing for weakness nerves.

The park itself is great, but there is not enough sun protection for those waiting, so that the children can collapse in the heat. It's a shame that some attractions are too. So the visitors can distribute themselves worse in the park.

I am happy to be there, only the prices are always at odds.

Unfortunately, it has slowed down considerably and not designed for the "broad" mass. Halloween is a highlight though.

We were there yesterday and a bit disappointed. Our grandson wanted so much to the Paw Patrol dogs. Unfortunately, there is nowhere that you have to face a dog of 4, long queues.Almost a family is allowed to take pictures with a dog and as long as she would like.My grandson has a dog in short, and ran with bright children's eyes .... and schwups he was turned back.I would find it more beautiful, if the dogs or other characters would run around there.
Even sadder we found the Parade Short and fast. Not every figure was there. The wait was not worth it.
We were there for the first time and I think the last time. Shame ....

We had a lot of fun in the park although it was Saturday we never had to wait really long maybe we were lucky. The prices for the food are quite high and the food tastes bland after the restaurant. It is worthwhile for a visit and the fun factor is huge therefore still 5

Hell organized. No waiting information. Not all the coffers open despite holidays.

Park in itself Meerrega Geil only the waiting times are mega long without speedypass and to see everything you have to pay 49 euros otherwise you can not manage the park during the day

Super solved with the distance rules ... a great park

Our favorite theme park. Our son loves it. Prices are relatively cheap. Parking prices however overdrawn. On weekdays, unfortunately, not all food stalls open. Nevertheless absolutely recommendable for families.

It's great, I can only recommend it. There is a lot for both children and adults.

Simply great! Especially the speed passes! BUT - unfortunately all speed passes and entrances are closed during Corona. Unfortunately we were not informed before the trip to Bottrop with the hotel! 4 years ago with the platinum passes it was great. All lanes max. 2 minutes waiting time instead of 90 minutes in some cases. And as often as you want! Please reintroduce next season and we'll be back!

No comparison to Warner Bros., which I was allowed to visit and enjoy shortly after the reopening. In view of the services offered completely overpriced.

Great rides, the new roller coaster Star Trek is great, unfortunately we did not make it because it was too crowded. But as I said, the attractions are great, even for the little ones is a lot. What I personally disliked are these speed tickets, so that the people with the speed tickets come directly, the river is interrupted again and again, good for those who have bought one (19 and in each attraction once used). This creates a "two-class society", when you are with the family, all the fun is not cheap, but everyone has to decide for themselves. Otherwise everything was great from my point of view, here was again invested and it was worth it, keep it up.

Great park where you can pick up your heart if you like attraction.

Gained experience in this park. The website states that there are adjustments for people in a wheelchair. However, the children in a wheelchair could in almost no attraction, the treatment was very unfriendly and there was no assistance. The parking lot was far away, we had to walk for half an hour. When we were at the top of the line, the children were sent away in a wheelchair.

I do not like this amusement park. For the price you have to pay you get too little. First of all, you have too much time to get there if you do not have any VIP tickets. First of all, I would like to emphasize that the specified waiting times for the roller coasters do not coincide in any way with the actual waiting times. Furthermore, the selection of food is absolutely limited, which also explains why all guests took care of themselves by bringing their food. In addition, you spend 80% of the time you have for this day, with waiting no matter if you want to go on a roller coaster, watching a movie or just want to eat something. All in all, I am totally dissatisfied and would like to see changes urgently made.

Especially for Halloween season highly recommended. Well worth a visit for people from the Ruhr area. A drive from further out is not worth it in my opinion. But then the entrance fee is too high, the waiting times too long and the state of the attractions meanwhile too bad.

Helloween in the movie park is quite nice but what is outrageous are the additional prices for wrong turn and the fees for parking in the amount of 7 euros are absolutely overpriced also the sanitary facilities were catastrophic could be overworked again otherwise we had a nice and funny Day

It's really well thought out and deserves a visit if you're a theme park and movie enthusiast. There aren't many rides for small children so don't go with kids under 5. They make an effort to keep you entertained while waiting to board the ride which is great but the queues are still a bit too long and we have waited in excess of 45 minutes to board a ride. There is plenty of entertainment and the place looks very nice.

Great Movie Park, enough attractions, fun for the whole family

I went today with my parents and sister and it was great fun. Staff are friendly and enjoy the roles they play. Because of the weekend and the wonderful weather it was of course very busy at the attractions, but it didn't make it any less fun. In short: it is actually so much fun that you make it yourself.

Very nice park. My child (1.20 m) could use a lot when accompanied. Corona rules are implemented well by the employees. Unfortunately, some people don't think it is necessary to wear the masks and keep their distance. Annoying to have to tell these people again and again. There should be no parking for this! In addition, there were clearly too many people in the park! The traffic lights were switched off on the way to the parking lot and none of the "park attendants" thought it necessary to regulate the traffic there. Irresponsible, the main thing is to collect.

Super fun attraction park, suitable for both young and old and there is plenty to do. I was not so enthusiastic about the app, but the park itself is well-organized so fine. We thought Star Trek: Operation Enterprise was the coolest roller coaster in the park. Especially the first time, if you don't know exactly how it goes, it is really an experience!
