Movie Park Germany Review

Long lines, extremely expensive entry, value for money just bad.

Nice park. But even on days when only half of the possible visitors are there, you are in long lines everywhere. Expensive entry, many great attractions, which unfortunately cannot all be used in one day due to the waiting times.

Nice theme park. The Halloween event. Is excellent. Unfortunately, we were on a day where it was very crowded and you even had to queue for an hour to get something to eat.

Very nice I personally liked it much better than a few days ago in Phantasialand .. Much more colorful, not so overwhelming and more fun for smaller kids ... Great day spent there and Junior (9y) was thrilled ..

Unfortunately, Halloween 2019 was not as good as it was 5 years ago.

The rides are only partially worth the wait. But food and drinks are appropriate for a theme park.

I have not been there for 15 years. After all the negative reviews, I was a bit unsure. Nevertheless, I can give 4 stars.

Parking: Enough parking available. Those who arrive late have to park further away.

Cleanliness: As far as everything clean only some sanitary facilities would have to be renovated.

Employees: Feels some who have no motivation whatsoever and who appear accordingly. But also a lot of nice ones.

Waiting times: We were there on a Monday during the holidays. The waiting times were good. The negative is that the waiting times were displayed, never true.

Food: There are enough options and the prices are also I. O. There is also a subway available.

Attractions: Good selection, technically maybe not always up-to-date but still entertaining. All roller coasters are very good. The Area 51 waterway was unfortunately broken.

Shows: The stunt show was very good but otherwise it did not have much to see.

Overall, I think it's recommended even if it is not as it was under Warner Brothers.

After reading so many negative reviews we felt a bit uncomfortable going to the park. But what can I say, we cannot share most of the bad experiences. There were rubbish bins on every corner, the park was clean, the toilets were clean even in the afternoon, the waiting time in most rides was short (but drove outside of the main holiday season), the staff was super nice, food prices were also ok. From the booking with the hotel to the parking ticket, everything worked smoothly. I found it particularly great that hygiene was really important here in times of Corona. Most rides have non-contact disinfectant dispensers, the mask requirement is pointed out and the handrails are disinfected regularly. I hadn't seen it like that in the two other parks we had visited this year. The height of the children was always checked in case of doubt, so safety really comes first, even if it sometimes seems annoying. The only thing that was really a bit annoying were the many wasps. But what do you want to make big ... My conclusion, I would come back anytime.

Great park. Pleasant coworkers. The sanitary facilities are all very clean. What I personally liked the most are the waiting areas.

Very good park. For young and old! Roller coasters are also useful for people in wheelchairs.

So we were there on 07/11/20. At the moment the park is allowed to let in half of the visitors as usual. Still, you have the feeling that it is full and you wait about 25-35 minutes. on average (Saturdays, good weather) In the streets of the park nobody pays attention to distance and certainly not in the queues, although there are markings everywhere, although the park really does a lot for Corona, such as. Disinfection of the trolleys or simplified queues. It was striking that many simply do not wear a face mask in the car or attractions, but they are constantly being pointed out. Ultimately, the park is too small for me (28 years) with too few attractions for adults or older teenagers. Some attractions are closed and there were many stops on our day. I didn't notice that the staff were unfriendly that day.

Quite full. I expected more from the adventure bay. The very little ones pay nothing, but they can not do anything. From 90 cm it starts.

7 parking fee for a parking lot, which was far away on a field. When we drove the parking lot we were told that this was due to the distance to the park. When we wanted to leave the car park, a coworker turned us on quite cheekily where our parking ticket would be, after all, we would have had to buy it at the cash register. Are you crazy? What would have happened if we had not had any cash left now? Why do you first say that it is free and then you should be outrageous 7! for parking. And then the dear employee also complains because he could not change my appearance. That's why I would like to award 0 stars alone!

We went for a spontaneous trip to the MoviePark. It was definitely worth it. The Star Trek roller coaster was awesome.

The park is great. Something for children and adults.

I went for the first time to movie park combined with the Halloween horror fest evening. I loved the rides, especially the star trek one. And the houses, expect for the insidious house, were really great! Actors also good in their roles. Only things that bothered me was that almost no one spoke english. Not even a little bit. And there was not much variation with food. Don't expect to eat breakfast there, since the subway corner was not even open when we wanted breakfast. But I would go to it again next year. (and learn german basics ;P)

We had tickets for half the price. This was the reason we went back to this park. Movie Park looks a bit dated here and there (peeling distant, rust etc). Some attractions are therefore really in need of replacement or major renovation, in particular the Mystic River Bermuda Dreieck and the MP express really do not look anymore. Still, Movie Park Germany has charms, the main street makes you believe that you are walking around in a kind of mini Disneyland. Many attractions have an extensive pre-show that takes you into the story behind the attraction. The new Star Trek roller coaster, Van Helsing's factory and The lost Temple are therefore already worth a visit (provided you have a good discount). Otherwise, this park is really on the expensive side.

The park did not meet our expectations, yet 3 stars the kid was having fun

It was great. Here you can leave a lot of money with kids. But a great experience with many nice memories. Saturday was not so much stress, Sunday was the park much fuller. Two days should be inside, so you do not rush.

Nice. But if you can wait for the best children until they are bigger than 1m20 or she almost never allowed in

Its a nicely themed park with fun rollercoasters and attractions. However! A lot of the rides are dated. Last time I visited movie park was 10 years ago as a child and everything's still the same. Now on one side thats nice and nostalgic but on the other side it comes across as if theres no money to improve. The screen on the time riders simulator was glitching and nearly broke and the park doesnt seem to know about that. I will say that the star trek ride is amazing, the theme, the line decoration, its great. They spent all their money on that I guess. Maybe change up the MP express as it felt like I was getting a whiplash and the station and rails were so rusty and not safe looking. I wouldnt spend 42 euros on a ticket and would rather spend a bit more & go to phantasialand.

Unfriendly staff. Expensive park, everywhere game booths. And parking fee of 7 euros on top. Four years ago I was in trouble because somebody wanted to tell me how to park. Today, trouble rafting with an absolutely incompetent cheeky employee. NEVER AGAIN!!

It is really difficult to find only positive. The waiting time is considerable less than an hour went nothing. 2 hours for the Paw Patrol meeting is a joke because after about 90sec back out. Very nice well-kept park! Opening times in the preseason (until 18 o'clock) already very scarce, if one has no Speedypass! Parking situation after closing the park has been a disaster. Nevertheless, we will come back!

It is a fantastic park only the bandit and mp express were really really bad roller coasters. Then it is also not so well decorated but the Bermuda dreieck and excalibur were well decorated and of course the van Helsing a haunted house roller coaster what a good job. The little one had her fun only for corona on a Thursday

Far too full ... 1.5 hours wait for 2 minutes drive. And with small children who are crazy soon. You could make so much more out of it than it gets done. Especially with the show actors. Otherwise, it is not great but nice things.

You have to pay as a parent so much and there are hardly any rides for toddlers. The VIP tickets or Speed Pass or like the hot should be abolished in the children's area, as they interfere with the normal process and it comes again to longer waiting times. What I found to be very annoying was that the waggons were partially occupied only with 2 or even 1 person and it also came back to longer waiting times and the children have to stand even longer in the heat and sun!

I have to admit that it doesn't feel like the park is holding up well, the corona regulations are less adhered to here than in Phantadialand and Europa Park, there are hardly any good roller coasters not recommended for roller coaster freaks. But recommended for families.

Here is the price-performance ratio not more. High entry, very long queues in front of the rides. You are always in a hurry.

For me, this amusement park is definitely worth a visit. It offers great rides, a lot of program, there should be something for every taste.
Typical for such parks is the culinary offer and also the prices are as usual quite high settled. But the park offers but always great deals such. Two days admission including one night at a nearby hotel for only 49 per person. Since you really can not complain.
For me the park is a recommendation, you can have fun there for a day or two. We have been there several times in recent years.

It is a pity that there are few attractions for very young children.

Great theme park with nice attractions. After the years, the rides from the "Warner Brothers" time have been well adapted. Definitely worth a visit with the Speedypass.

Great park. We had a lot of fun, because the rides are really cool. But there were many failures due to technical defects !! Therefore better to take 2 days pass, then you can drive everything.

The park is not bad and especially recommended for families with smaller children. Unfortunately it lacks atmospheres in some places. Either you see open construction sites, some lack the attention to detail or something like a good soundtrack.
Nevertheless, the day was fun and for example the VanHelsing Bahn I really liked. Even if she was very short;)

Hi, unfortunately there is no star. We were there yesterday and there was pure chaos in Nick Land. The employees paid no attention to the masks or the distances. Most of the visitors from the Netherlands or Belgium did not have the masks on and became really insolent when I pointed them out. When I asked an employee who was hard to find why nobody would take care of it, the only answer was everyone is responsible for themselves. Well, we went after only 2 hours. It cannot be that as many people are admitted there as before Corona and, to all abundance, the requirements of the offices are not respected or not enforced. I have also passed this on to the responsible regulatory office.

Nice and cozy family park, come there regularly for years, do think that the park can renew more and possibly expand

I am very expensive the type WB Warner Bros but my little one liked it very much anyway

We were there as a family of four just in time for the opening. After we walked about one kilometer from the parking lots to the three occupied cash registers we were allowed to hire ourselves. The queues were so long that you had to wait on the streets where busses go and turn. After about 45 minutes and many complaints opened another box, we were there again for 20 minutes, in the time it was not a bit forward. In addition, the Kinderland has opened today (30.5.19) only until 12:00 clock, at 11:40 were still no guests in the park. All in all, the park is a great indictment and definitely not recommendable. The park is also child-friendly, because on the just mentioned street the articulated bus turns without a guide. If you do not lead your children on a leash, you are completely wrong. The one star only because there is no zero.
