Went for a wedding and the food and staff were amazing especially with covid protocols in place. The accommodation was top rate with a large bedroom and ensuite and air conditioning and seating. The only complaint is that the hotel is looking a bit drab on the exterior needing a good lick of paint. But other than that it was dam near perfect and great value as well. We will be back.

The grounds and setting of the hotel is stunning. From the time you drive through the entrance gates and up along the avenue leading to the hotel which is framed by beautiful mature trees and shrubberies not to mention the gorgeous stone wall to the right over which you can see the stunning golf course , feature pond , helipad and the beautiful lemon/white build of the hotel itself - the interior of the hotel is gorgeous too with a fabulous restaurant/bar which is enormous and luxurious and ideal for families plus the reception and mezzanine areas are so spacious and luxurious not to mention the standard and comfort of the bedrooms - it all adds up to being an ideal place to go for a relaxing break to recharge the batteries . In addition to the great golf course there is a super gym and swimming pool so something for all tastes

Spent 3 nights in Mount Wolseley on our 'staycation' this year and highly recommend. We were two families - 4 adults and 4 kids - and we had the most wonderful room setup of 2 connecting family rooms. It was perfect! The leisure centre has to be commended - the staff were always excellent (we went every day). The outdoor playground is perfect for kids. Breakfast was excellent! We went to Rathdown and rode the train and walked the trails and this was a lovely day out!

We stayed in the one houses for 2 nights. The house was clean but could have done with a bit of sprucing up, there had been a leak at some stage and there was a large stain on the celling, apart from the that the house was in good order. The house was a 4 bedroom but only had one double bed, the rest were all singles, just something to keep in mind if few couples are planning on staying. We ate in the hotel one of the nights, the food was good and staff were pleasant. All in all it was a nice get away.

Had a great weekend here. Really enjoyed the spa and dry flotation in particular. Dinner was lovely from the set menu and breakfast was nice also. We had one of the suites so the bed was big enough that we didn't get another bed for our 4 year old. She loved it there also as there is a playroom.

We went for 2 nights with children, mainly as a relaxing swimming pool trip. The swimming pool was very nice, and the restaurant and bar served food that the children liked, including nice healthy options. We also liked the breakfast, which included lots of irish and continental foods, and the restaurant's garden, with laventer and butterflies, and a little playhouse, where children can safely play while adults enjoy their extra cup of tea. we only visited one local attraction (delta gardens, which were cute) so i do not know whether it's worth staying longer for the sake of local attractions. Outside the hotel is very pleasant with the golf fields, too.

Just back from 2 nights at Mount Wolseley. Loved it. Plenty to do, very relaxed, excellent food. Lovely spacious, quiet, clean room. Filled in a few hours in the gym and pool, great facilities. Dinner in Frederick's restaurant was superb, and I loved the buffet breakfast too, so much to choose from. And I got the fish and chips in the bar.
Will definitely be back.

Where do I begin! We got married last weekend in Mountwolseley after planning a wedding in 9 days after our hotel cancelled on us last minute.
I cannot thank the hotel, staff and especially Carmel in weddings for all they did for us. They treated us as if we planned a wedding with them for two years. Carmel was just amazing to deal with from our very first call. She reassured us so much and took everything into her own hands, so friendly and professional. The hotel, food, accommodation, staff everything was just amazing we couldn't fault a thing. We could not have asked for a better wedding day. I Would highly highly recommend any couple getting married here or anyone staying here wont be disappointed.
Thank you all so much Louise & Tom x
