Unfortunately, my vehicle was recently struck and damaged while my children and I were in the car, out of town. An already shocking and unexpected event like this can be made better or worse by the experience one has with the insurance company or companies involved in getting things resolved and repaired. My encounter with a claims adjuster assigned to this claim initially had me very worried. She said some things in our one and only conversation that created a real sense of added stress and frustration... Not good, I thought, especially since the person insured by this company was clearly at fault. That interaction with the claims adjuster is the reason this review is 4 stars rather than 5.

The adjuster put me in touch with an appraiser from the company. His demeanor, willingness to listen, and seriously hard work to get things resolved in the very best way possible for everyone involved literally turned everything around in a matter of hours. Mr. Tim Patterson, the appraiser, worked honestly and fairly to make a really terrible situation easier to get through. My family and I are truly grateful for his sincerity and efforts.

My experience with Angie Johnson today was not as upsetting as I'd imagined it to be. Late at nIght last week I had an accident with a large boulder that outlined my apartment driveway. It was late at night. This was my 1st rodeo with auto insurance assessments. Angie Johnson was so professional/courteous that she made the process something to not fear. She was also able to complete my claim & inform me promptly of the results.

I cannot believe how nice the people are here. They processed my claim faster than I have ever seen. To have a insurance company not bicker with you over the cost of the damage was amazing. I hope I never have to be involved in another accident but if I do, I hope the insurance company is Encova!! Thanks!!!!

Encova insurance did NOT communicate to me that th...

Encova insurance did NOT communicate to me that they were going to send a debt to a collection agency. I wasn t even aware I had a debt with Encova, who is currently still my primary insurance provider for all three of my vehicles and renters insurance.

I received a phone call today, 5 years later that they are wanting to collect what Encova paid me for a house claim that had water and mold damage, from 2016. Technically 5 years ago the insurance was Wilson Mutual Insurance but since have been taken over by Encova now.

Our insurance policy had a specific amount of coverage for mold damages. Our insurance representative who came to our home stated my insurance company wasn t liable for the water damage but would cover mold damage, however, that the contractor who put on our new medal roof just two years prior, was responsible.

So we filed a claim with the contractor s insurance company. They sent a check for a minimal amount and said that s all we are covering.

After almost two years of attorneys battling this out, insurance companies saying neither was responsible, being forced to live in a small two bedroom apartment because our home wasn t livable and we had to continue to pay the mortgage and an apartment rental at the same time.

ENCOVA STATES I WAS DOUBLE PAID. Furthest from the truth! I had a loss of $163,000 plus. We didn t even receive an 1/8 of what it would cost to rebuild. Our house was a complete LOSS due to water and mold damage because our roofer did not install it correctly.

We lost our home because we couldn t afford to rebuild. It was senseless to take out a second mortgage to rebuild a home that we still had a mortgage on. Many think the American dream is to own a home, well for me it s not. This has caused severe trauma for my family and took a long time to recover mentally and emotionally and now for this to happen is absolutely disheartening! Going to be changing insurance companies for sure after this!

Encova is a very good carrier for all things insur...

Encova is a very good carrier for all things insurance. The customer service is by far one of the best carriers I've used. The products offered and pricing are very comparable to most companies in the market, but what stands out with Encova is the customer service that the client receives, and I receive as an agent. You never feel like a number....they care are about the agents and more importantly their clients.

Encova is a top notch company that I always rely on when it comes to helping clients obtain their insurance coverage. By far one of the very best carriers that I've had the opportunity to work with. A great lasting partnership.

After a devastating house fire Encova was AMAZING!!! They listened to our concerns, answered all of our questions and made us feel at peace knowing everything was going to be ok. They took INCREDIBLE care of us and I can't imagine using anyone else!!!! Bruce and Ty went above and beyond during every step of the process to make sure we knew what was going on and what the next steps would be. Thank you so much!!!
