We had a lovely meal with a nice drink in a beautiful environment at a very reasonable price. The service was excellent and friendly, you feel as if you are personally invited to this place. Keep up the good work.

Awesome food and staff were friendly and welcoming. Definitely a recommended restaurant. Love the sea-facing great atmosphere too! Highly recommended the grill prawns :)
A small Japanese restaurant tucked into Wynyard Quarter, providing diners with a nice sea-facing view. But that's about it. The service is pleasant, though very slow even when only half the tables are full. The presentation does not compare with other Japanese restaurants, nor does the food; which is very basic. The only thing that stands out is the fish; which is fresh from the seafood market next door. Even the sweet potato chips aren't up to scratch; they're soft and lack flavour. Perhaps nice for a drink on a sunny afternoon, but no place for quality Japanese food.
We went to this place with my parents for their anniversary and we were very impressed by the service. The staff were friendly and welcoming, joked with us, really made us feel at home. The ambiance is great, it's sea-facing so a great More
The setting is lovely - facing the sea You can set inside in case the weather is cold or windy
I went there with my wife and we love the place and the food. One thing here to tell you, the plate really for one person . I love the salad with the dishes.
The staff are professional and friendly The came to us and asked if we like the food and if we have any comments.
Delicious food but service is everything. Ive been for 2 Sunday lunches and on both occasions the restaurant was severely understaffed. One waitress and I assume one cook in the kitchen. It s a shame because one more person would have made the difference of an enjoyable meal. Don t go here if you re not willing to wait :/
