I visit concerts quite often here. The hall is huge, but at the same time cozy and comfortable. Elegant halls. Beautiful winter garden with a fountain. Many buffets, racks on each floor. It is a pity that there are no normal coffee machines. In the lower hall in the cold season is very cool.

The entrance from the Middle Kislovsky Lane is incorrectly indicated on the maps !!! In fact, the entrance is from Bolshaya Nikitskaya.
The acoustics in the Great Hall are incredible, the sound creeps into the shivers.

Everything is fine, but sounding ....
Was at the concert- "Vivaldi" The Seasons "and great organ masterpieces.
The atmosphere is chic, but the music ...
The music, alas, was audible as in the TV.
There was not enough acoustics. And all because the scene is as if in an alcove, the whole sound is concentrated there and does not go out.
Alas, I could not feel the magical euphoria that can be experienced at the Philharmonic.
Where the scene is located is very important!

A magnificent philharmonic society, excellent and helpful staff in everything - from security guards (polite security guards in Moscow are a rarity) and wardrobes to musicians and teachers. Excellent rooms, not spoiled by renovation. Music, discussions - top class. The spirit does not leave this hearth, like many others in Moscow.

We live opposite. Constant renovation since 2012. In between construction sites - chants, pianos, trumpets, drums. Everyone rehearses with the windows open. As a result, we hear not musical works, but a cacophony, moreover, from 5 am to 2 am.
Since 2019, the construction of a new educational building. Rumble, grinding daily, regardless of the time of day and day of the week. And during quarantine, it just brings to a mental disorder. I already hate this temple of light, beautiful, eternal. As Zhvanetsky said, maybe something needs to be tweaked at the conservatory ...

An ideal place to listen to classical music, excellent acoustics. You can listen to a solo, and concerts of symphony and chamber orchestras.
Strongly recommend to visit for any concert. The tickets are easy to get from the website or directly from the box office.
