Was taken care of in a timely manner and treated well. Only wait time was for results. Friendly and helpful nurses and physician. With all that they have to deal with on a daily basis in regards to COVID, they still treated me with respect and dignity.
Staff not fully vaccinated for Covid. Yet, you allow medical staff work with vulnerable patients when medical science tells us what needs to be done. They are therefore part of the problem instead of being part of the solution.
Secondly, as a fully vaccinated person, I could not stay in the hospital to receive the best option to treat my heart problem. Instead, you give beds to those unwilling to get vaccinated. These people make no effort to keep from getting critically ill. Yet you allow them to take care opportunities from the rest of us. I was discharged without the procedure that is my best chance of survival so they could have a bed. I am just an "elective" throw-a-way whose long term survival is now in serious jeopardy. Where is your humanity at work? Certainly not for me.
We were very pleased with our visit. All the doctors and nurses were wonderful and provided a high level of care. We thought Covid concerns were handled well, and the system of not allowing family members in the ER until the patient was placed in a room was excellent. The persons who handled the Valet parking were helpful. The EMTs and ambulance persons were also very caring. You are doing a great job! Keep up the good work!
Beds were awful and you laid on a metal bar. Most uncomfortable. The food was disgusting. Tasted like it was shipped in and warmed on the way. About 5 years ago my sister was there twice for a weak each time and it was wonderful, with food that tasted like it came from high class restaurant. What the heck happened??? When you get the covid-19 with pneumonia a little comfort would have been nice.
Pre surgery prep was fantastic. Recovery and attention to my needs was very well met. Excellent staff of nurses and techs. This was my first total hip replacement surgery and I couldn't be more pleased with how I was treated and attended to. GREAT JOB!
Looking forward to hip # 2 in November!!!
I came in to deliver and everyone was great! My delivery went really smoothly (as smooth as a delivery can get I suppose) and the staff was beyond helpful. Every nurse/doctor we had was more than friendly and always available when needed. If we had questions, (believe me, there were plenty) they assisted beyond good measure and made the entire process and stay easy and stress free. I honestly couldn't have been happier with our visit. Everyone made us feel welcome and, well, not totally clueless. I do want to make mention that our top 3 nurses were Heather, Kamisha, and Pam! They went above and beyond with us and our little guy! They really made the whole stay feel as at home as it could get. We really appreciate them and everyone else as well!
Phenomenal experience delivering my baby here. Top of the line care. I needed an emergency c section but the doctors tried everything for me to have a natural birth. They said I can try for a vbac in 1 year and I m so incredibly thankful that they saved my life and my baby s life.
To the Angel's on earth that work in Morton Plant Hospital thank you, thank you, thank you. These wonderful human beings help my mom recovered from a very dire health situation & gave my family lots of moral support there are just not enough words to say thank you. They were very compassionate, in the care of our mom the doctors, the nurses, everyone that was in care of the Colvie-19 unit. Mom is coming home today because wonderful compassionate nurses & doctors and all the rest of the personal that sacrifice their own help to help others still exist. God bless every single person that gave me back my wonderful mom
Procedure went exactly how it was supposed to go. From the moment of check-in until discharge, every medical professional was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and that my needs were met. While being in a hospital is never a 'fun' experience, they made it so much less stressful and calmed all of my fears going into my procedure. I am grateful for such caring professionals.
This was my first admission to your hospital as we were diverted via ambulance from Largo medical. My overall experience was outstanding other than a medical glitch which started from my ER visit and did not transfer orders or important details up to the admitting floor so there was lots of confusion for several days until this was finally resolved. The nursing staff was superior and their personal care, rapid response to request and their cohesion of working together amongst their team. I would highly recommend this facility.
