This place has the pretentiousness of Opus One, the billing practices of a loan shark, and the ineptitude of an airline. If you join, you'll get all kinds of discounts, but don't worry, they get everything back by adding surcharges and charging for "complimentary" member events. We once ordered a medium-rare steak to go. It was shoe-leather well done. When we took it back, rather than admit their mistake, the blamed us for not getting it home soon enough, telling us it continued to cook after it was made (we live two blocks away). Every month, we have to call them to have erroneous charges removed (I don't mean small amounts hundreds of dollars in "Oops, sorry about that, must be our computers" every month rivaling the number of votes by dead people in the 2020 election).

This is a great location but that is the best part about this place. Very old, outdated and rooms are in pretty bad shape. I am surprised the owners don't take more pride in their investment. There was a toe nail on the nightstand next to the bed we slept in. So gross. This hotel needs a huge overhall and likely new management.

Kudos to the course managers. Friendly staff but what stood out the most were the greens. IMO the condition of the greens is always the most important factor regarding how memorable your experience will be. Best I've ever seen the Morgan Run greens. Fast, firm, and true. If you have a chance to play this course you won't be disappointed.

The staff were wonderful. The view was delightful. I picked my dinner up to go at the restaurant and they forgot the salad. The brought to my room and later brought an amazing warm chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream. Super yum for end of the day. Small portions.
1 club "member" was very rude to me, but she doesn't count on review.
Michelle at front desk was so sweet and helpful with request. Bummer, no more espresso at front desk.

My personal items were stolen while I was staying at Morgan Run for vacation from my hotel room.

When I tried to speak to the manager and staff they were of no help. They said they would speak with their "forensic engineering" team to see who entered my room during the time my items were stolen from my room, but to my disappointment no one from their team followed up at the day and time they said they would.

If you come here make sure to protect your expensive items. I don't want to assume, but I feel someone within the staff stole my belongings and it's sad that management does not seem to care about the customer experience. I am a bit shocked considering Morgan Run is upscale and is also a country club. You would think they would pay more attention to providing better service or that your items would be safe when visiting the facility.

Very accommodating staff and fabulous golf course. We've held an event here, every year now for almost a decade, and we love coming back. #JamesReeseGolfTournament

This resort is fair price but they don't advise you that u can not use the pool if u are a hotel guess. Pool is for members only. We made a complain n they took the resort fee.. so if you do stay here go n complain food was ok . Tips are included in the bill . . Front desk guys that works at night was very nice n polite

I remember when Ted Vallas owned this facility. Only then, it was "Lomas Santa Fe Country Club."

Never played this course, but have done "falconry" all over this area. (When Gene Klein had his facility just East of the course.) It became "Rancho Paseana" at that time.
Sold to Jenny, who sold it to Bill, who still owns it. (His kid is into horses.) Oh well, carry on!

The food was great and the staff was amazing. The grounds are stunning. We really enjoyed our event there.

The rooms were adaquate, but less than what you'd expect. Problems: * Ice machine broken in the building where my friends were staying. * Bar closed very early.

It's a very nice and playable golf course but don't be expected to be blown away. It's pretty straightforward with not a lot of undulations. Over all the staff was very friendly and helpful and the amenities are nice. I would recommend it.
