They make you park off property and walk to their gate before you can drive up, and you better hope you have everything in the world before you walk through that door. I have had to return to my truck 4 times only to be told that they aren't going to load me until 3 hours after the scheduled appointment time. And how much would you wager that it's going to be 3 or 4 hours for the load?
Parking right off of 31, either side. Walk down to the guard station past the tracks a bit. Make sure you understand completely what they are telling you. I was told the wrong thing and went to the wrong building. For first timers the facilities can be a bit hard to navigate. In the day time I bet it's easier. Arrived at 0530 for 0800 appt and was given a door right away, even if it was the wrong one. Once corrected I was done by 0730. Friendly staff and nice place.
They have over night parking. Park in the staging area & walk to the office. It was a quick load. My only problem was they want you to check the load. So you're responsible for the load, but they didn't give me a load sheet. So I just counted 20 pallets.
Checked in at noon was out by noon. Everyone was professional and the texting system they use is nice and efficient. Will happily load out of here anytime. Thank you Everyone from security to shipping you guys rock.
Don t bother showing up before your appointment time. Got here at 12:30 for a 3pm load; was told I needed to wait until 3, before going back to the shipping office. Around 19/20 other trucks sitting in the lot in front of the entrance, waiting for doors. Looks like it s about to be a fun ride.....hope I m proven wrong.
Easy to reach there from I-65 to US-31 or IN-256. Entrance to the facility is right from US-31. You should park truck on yards both side of Morgan St and walk to security shack. Don t forget to grab driver license. I was two hours before my appointment but should wait. About 45 minutes to get full trailer. Strictly enforced smoking at the facility!
WOW! First time delivering to Morgan foods! Did not park in correct area! My mistake! Security was no help! Security is definitely on a power trip! That s the first impression of Morgan Foods! Rude to say the least! And when questioned threatened to not let me deliver! Upon leaving security was standing in window! Dude was definitely looking for confrontation!
I ve been here twice going again tomorrow- Dart has accountability- they like early in day deliveries- no parking overnight... however the outhouses were a mess thus the 3 stars ... I get in drop and hook - in and out.
Morgan Foods. Read all the negative reviews. My experience was actually a 5 Star experience. Everyone was nice, professional and efficient. In & out in 1 1/2 hours. Delivery, Conestoga. Took longer to roll up my 12- 4 straps than to unload me.
Its an OK place nothing special. They have overnight parking. You must park your truck then walk to building by gate to check in. Then they will have you drive and park by a small shack next to scales. Then use the phone in the shack to call a number to check in again. They will tell you what building to go to to get loaded. Once done you will go back to the shack by the scales and call the number again so they can prepare your bills and there is a box of seals get a seal from the box and read the seal number to them to complete your bills.
