Dr. K and his team in the day surgery unit are amazing. My daughter had surgery on July 13, 2021. They took the best care of her. The nurses and surgical staff are amazing. They kept us well informed and explained everything so that we would understand. They made sure that my daughter was good before we left . I was highly impressed with the day surgery staff. Such kind and caring people.
ER receptionist was extremely rude and impatient very unprofessional recommend going anywhere besides here unless you want to die
My experience at Morehouse Hospital once the surgeon met me in the ER & I was brought up to the floor was great. The nurses room wonderful care of me. The surgeon had the best bed side manners & def has his best interest at heart. I will recommend him to anyone.
Waste of time!! Don t go!! All they will do is keep you for hours with no follow up and put you to sleep. That s how they cure you. Better luck driving to Monroe, Jackson, or even Shreveport! But don t waste your time going here.
My students and I would like to thank the staff at Morehouse General Hospital for their hospitality. This learning experience for me and my students was awesome. Everyone was friendly and always willing to assist whenever needed. We were greeted with a smile daily. There are a few people that I would like to mention with their permission. Mr. Ray Cleveland, Mercedez Blanch, Mis Staja Smith, Shay Fields, the entire staff of the surgery department, OB staff, Mrs. T. Hawkins, the director and provider of the pediatric clinic (Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Tiffany) ,Mrs. Virginia, Dr. and Mrs. Sanders. The students and I really enjoyed this experience. Awesome team.! On Saturday November 5th I had to go to the hospital because my granddaughter accidentally hit me in the eye with a metal rod, my husband and I are not from here and had no idea how the hospital was in this town but I have to say it was a great experience from the minute we got there until the time we left! The lady that checked us in was great she knew I was in pain and she got a nurse to take me back right away and let my husband fill out the paperwork and answer questions...the nurse was so sweet and caring and very attentive and the Dr had great bed side manners and involved my husband and granddaughter in the examination of my eye...all in all I had a great experience...thank you Morehouse General Hospital you guys ROCK!!
I have to say that I was treated with the up most respect when I went to Morehouse General Hospital for chest pains and I didn't know that I was sicker than I thought due to the test that was run by the doctor he found out I had gallstones and kidney stones they took care of my pain and got me feeling better the next day I got a call from the hospital they wanted to know if I was feeling better I got in touch with the best doctor in the world Dr Kei Nagatomo he diagnosed me set me a date for surgery and took care of me so great I haven't had any problems since the surgery I just wanna thank the staff and everyone involved for making my experience at Morehouse General Hospital the best If anybody is having any problems i advise you to go to Morehouse General Hospital
I recently had surgery done and I recommend anyone that have to get surgery done to come to this Hospital. The nurses were nice and helpful. They called a week after my surgery to check on me.

Filthy, don t make it possible to get to toilet, I was peeing on myself for two days and no clean sheets or robe unless I yelled about it and took them till second night to bring bedside potty, which already had someone else s bowel movement in it. But it was all I had, I took pictures. No way to wash my hands and they put toilet paper to far for my oxygen tube to let me reach. No water, no wipes
When they brought me only broth to eat I asked for soup with something in it and they said they were searching hospital for some. Kitchen didn t have any
Kitchen also said I didn t get eggs with my grits cause I m lactose intolerant, Eggs do Not have lactose
Omg, I could go on and on but saving it for my formal complaint. Oh and because I was complaining they released me to skilled nursing facility when I still had Covid double pneumonia
