My two son's are graduates of Mooresville schools. Both went on to collages, are gaining fully employed in careers they are passionate about, and have their own families. I feel that the schools system, teachers and staff helped contribute to their successes
Moved her two years ago wasn't super impressed with the school but let it slide.. fast forward two years and as parents we have learned about our child and her disability and have asked for an IEP to which we have really received a cold shoulder from the school district to the point where we are now going to start driving our child 30 minutes each way to make sure she gets a better education and hopefully have a chance to succeed as an adult on her own instead of setting my child up for failure at Mooresville

If you are a parent of a child with ADHD or lowered cognitive abilities, be prepared to fight for your child harder than you could ever imagine! All this district wants to do is suspend, expel, and lump everyone as having a "behavioral issue." And then on top of that, they just want to push your kids through to higher grades, even when not appropriate for the child to move ahead! Be prepared to be shuffled around from one school to the next! Even the most obvious struggles a child has are denied until they are forced to deal with them!
