They have no idea what they are doing!
They tried to get me to {tape} a 16 lb sighn over 20 feet in the air above a main intrince
Door in the middle of a 100 degree day in Augist the Tape was not eaven going to hold for very long when it that hot in direct sunlight!! And wanted to leave it there till there Boss got there in a few hrs so he could see if that's where he wanted the sighn permintly mounted...
I talked to these two Formen and made sure that's what they wanted.. and they said yes.
I was like you don't think that's daingerious useing masking tape to hold a 16 lb sighn 20 feet in the air that could fall on someone and possibly kill someone!!! They told me to do it or get fired for refusing to do what I'm told!! So I went out in the shop with the 16 lb sighn and the masking tape Keith gave me and I went to each employee that was there in the shop and told them not to walk under the first bay door and showed them the sighn and how heavy it was and that I was to only use masking tape to leave it up till there Forman got there 3 to 4 hrs later..
Every one on the floor thought I was joking!!
But when I went to put it up they realized I was not jokeing!!! It caused such a uproar with every one.. I got my Ass chewed out for being safe!! Then was told to leave and that I was fired for questioning his decision!!!
So if Dumb and Dumber still run the shop at Baytown I would advise any new hires to not take this job!!!
