Ex's are always bitter. That student will be happier on the other side of the fence were the grass is greener. I like that the academy is multicultural. As children turn into adults those relationship will grow and become lasting. With social media outlets now you might find yourself visiting an old friend in china one day. Keep an open mind. Don't worry you won't forget English.

The baseball program recruits players and provides them free education and housing and gets all the coaches attention. If you re looking to move your child to the school to give them what you think is a better opportunity to be a part of a incredible baseball organization and receive incredible coaching. Look a little harder in another direction. Academically this is a great school but we chose the school thinking we were going to offer our son a better opportunity to advance to a college level and they failed him miserably.

By far the best private school in Lake County; the school has been around for more than 100 years and has created a culture of success; I am so glad my children have had the opportunity to attend and meet other children from the local community and around the world. Well worth the investment!

Grading a school by what the athletic program is like is hardly important. The academic programs are why people go to schools and universities. Graduates leave with a real education that last throughout life and fosters good jobs and careers as they get older. Sports might be nice, but it's unlikely that they do much for a career in later life. Unfortunately public schools today seem to focus on sports and we have graduates who can't read, can't write a structured sentence and in general are uneducated. Not so with the MVA.

My daughter just joined the school this year. She came from Baylor school in TN, so far she loves the school. Great environment, teachers, dorm parents are caring and nurturing. She is a boarder and trust me, she knows the difference since at a young age, she is basically on her own. My husband and I are so grateful because Montverde really took a late application from us. I do recommend the school to any sensible parents looking for a great education and athletic program.

Based on the recent story regarding a 16yr old African American student who was asked to change her hair. The texture or style of her hair should never be an issue, your racist policy made it an issue and for that reason I would never allow my child to attend this school.hope that other potential parents and students see this as I have; as s an insult to African American students who chose to wear their hair as it grows, without chemical treatments in its natural state. And by the way when her hair becomes BIG, it means it is growing and healthy!
