I attended here from kindergarten up to ninth grade. This school put me so far ahead of the curriculum when I switched into a public high school. It's a small school, so you get individual attention and you know everyone on a personal basis, which is so great. The uniforms had no benefit and it took me a year after Monticello to figure out my fashion sense because I'd never had the option to dress to my own style. Otherwise, I genuinely miss this school now that I am out, it's a great place. To this day, some of my very best friends have come from this school.

We've been part of the Monticello Academy Family for 8 years now. M.A. has exceeded my expectations many times!
Their policies, staff members, experienced teachers and it's facilities allow my kids to learn in a safe environment. I am glad we chose Monticello Academy. I would definitely recommend it!

This location is allowing their kids to play outside at recess without masks. I called the school and they said they were leaving it up to the little kids to social distance themselves at recess!!!! What a joke!!!

I loved going to the school. Now that I am in a different school, it makes me want to go back!

I am a former student. I had the opportunity to attend this school from 1st thru 8th. I recommend sending your kid here if you would like them to get a full balance of core subjects. Now that I have been to other schools, I am surprised at how much other schools did not focus on history, music or foreign language. I sure wish I could continue learning Chinese, which I had the opportunity to learn from an amazing teacher from 4th thru 8th grade. This is not your ordinary school! I wish I still had the kind of opportunities I had at M.A.

my children love this school and the library so much but there food made my kids puke

We feel so fortunate for our 2nd-grader to have been accepted at this incredible academy! From the very beginning the Director was amazing and took the time to give us a detailed tour of the campus and make sure all of our questions and concerns were thoroughly answered! Due to family events we were unable to attend back-to-school night, but our students teacher happily arranged for us to come in earlier and go over everything in-depth! Our child has made tremendous improvements in academics, behavior, and focus and attention! They say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, and aren t indoctrinated with the liberal psychosis which currently permeates most of today s public schools. They boast a state-of-the-art gymnasium, learn Chinese, cursive, Singapore math, music, band, art, sports and so much more! All of the faculty seem like family and genuinely care about each and every student! I feel like I could go on and on with accolades for this academy! We have been nothing short of thrilled with Monticello Academy!! Best of all, our student LOVES going to school here!!

The high expectations for students at Monticello provides opportunities to excel in academics, as well as in strength of character. The curriculum supports growth in science and math, as well as art, music, and physical education (which can't be said of many schools in our area.) And required parental involvement means there is a lot of support in the classrooms, as well as verbally better informed families. I couldn't love this school more!

Our family has been involved in this school for 4 years now. We ve seen rapid progress in our kiddos not just in what they are learning but in building a learning mindset. The administration works diligently to include parents and the teachers have exceeded our expectations, by regularly communicating with us so that we can praise our kids for their hard work and focus on the areas where the need help. We ve even had circumstances where the teachers have spent their own time, energy and resources in helping our kids. This isn t just a place where drop your kids everyday- it s a community and we genuinely trust the people that we are leaving our kids with.

Monticello Academy has high expectations for both students and parents. Nice smaller school. It offers a safe environment for every student. Their carpool is very efficient. Classes are small and the teachers are always willing to help you. We've been going there for many years now and many more to come!
