Went in with husband who has 2 separate medical conditions that can cause intestinal blockage. He cannot even keep water down with a few other symptoms of intestinal blockage. I get the guy who may have a concussion ahead of him but the boy with the hurt shoulder horseplaying, not even showing any pain was also put ahead of what could be life threatening then come out and say they have no more rooms that the wait will be long. They need to refigure their patient priority here.

I went into the ER as I was having a difficult time breathing and my coughing was so painful it just made it worse. After a very traumatizing Covid test that caused my nose to bleed profusely, I was relieved to know it wasn t that. I d never had a bloody nose so it was extremely traumatizing. No other Covid test was ever that bad.
After being admitted, it was difficult to convince the doctor that I needed help with the pain I was in. Finally he agreed to a small amount of pain meds during my stay. It s very sad that the opioid epidemic has made it difficult for people who are in genuine pain to get the help they need. Very sad.
Aside from the above mentioned, the facility was cleaned and most of my care providers were attentive and kind. The others I believe were spread too thin, otherwise would ve been just as attentive. It was difficult to get some water to drink. My RT, Mary Jo and my CNA, Talisha were both amazing. Props to them for going above and beyond!

I called at 5pm and asked attempted to ask a question; the women who answered cut me off and said you need to wait, I m busy. I was on hold 34min and hung up. Called 3 times no answer. Called this evening at 10:15pm to ask if they had a room 411 because I couldn t make out in the voicemail the nurse left in the morning about what room my father was in. She said no we don t. I couldn t even get out if she was able to tell me what room before she very rudely said I have patients to take care of and hung up. I ve called so many more times and no answer. I get patient care comes first.. perhaps a receptionist would help then. From the sound of her I wouldn t want any care there.

Worst experience ever. The dr was very rude while I was crying my eyes out about the amount of pain I'm in told me he didnt care if I didnt come back here. I would rather wait the extra time at bloomington where I know I'm being taken care of.

I'm currently enduring a harrowing experience with an ex who is making unwanted calls to me from a hospital phone. Charge nurse for room 113 named Candice is refusing to help me. The patients full name is James Hazel. I'm unfortunately unable to give the nursing staff a negative number of stars.

I have had good and poor experiences there. The MDs think everyone is drug seeking, as pain has been criminalized. But I have gotten good care there too. You have to advocate for yourself. They r trying to save money so u might have to insist on an MRI, if an x-ray doesn't discover source of pain etc. If md is rude or doesn't care about ur pain or distress ask to talk to manager, go above then to next level until u get a reasonable response- they are legally obligated to address your pain and distress. They work for you, not the other way around. You know if something is wrong, they do not until every test is exhausted. No one goes to the ER for entertainment.

I came in with my grandma with abdominal pain that had her crying. She was seen very quickly and they was quick to get her pain under control as well. She needed emergency exploratory surgery and came out of that very well. She is currently still there being monitored but everything went smoothly and she feels much better! Thank you for taking care of her!
