The staff always got some type of attitudes , rude to me and my 3 year old. I'm not coming here anymore added Over a 3 hour wait to get into a room for a baby with 104.5 fever and and vomiting , who was just here 1 day previous then in the room for over a hour+ still not seen by a doctor , Disgraceful . I understand busy but this is ridiculous. Never been treated so terrible before.

I underwent a emergency bowel resection after an acute double bowel obstruction while visiting in NJ. I would first like to say that my rating is representative of my surgical team, anesthesia, and bedside care. i was on 6G and the nurses and techs were unbelievable caring and really knew their job. As pleasant as this surgery could possibly be, I could not have been more satisfied. HOWEVER I cannot say the same about the ER, the ER techs or the doctors. It was in fact the worst ER experience i have ever had in my 61 years, 6 children and 6 grandchildren. The staff was lazy and rude, and did not recognize the seriousness and possibilities of this acute onset of excruciating pain that i was in. I arrived around 10 PM on a Sunday night with only 3 obvious patients in the ward. I did not see a doctor for hours and had to beg for some attention for something to be done. My pain was not passive, it was abrupt and intolerable and it was obvious something serious was occurring. My doctor said had it been much longer i would have ended up in ICU on a vent. I was in the ER for hours before they realized the seriousness and called the surgical team. I would NEVER recommend this ER to anyone. MMC you need to train your ER staff, they need to be able to recognize the difference between a passive ER visit and a serious visit (other than a heart attack) and learn to triage. They need an attitude adjustment as well. And the techs were horrific. Great Hospital experience, near death in the ER

Very very great excellent Psychiatric and Covid-19 Treatment! And Much better than East Orange General Hospital! And much better than the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center in Toms River! Because I seriously really was previously psychiatrically hospitalized here at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch from March 2020 until 04/08/2020 because of a domestic dispute at Tiffany Manor in East Orange, NJ also because the staff in the AP1 and AP3 units were seriously really very very nice also because Dr. Geller was seriously really a very very nice professional psychiatrist also because I seriously really was also treated very very well for Covid-19 here at this hospital also because Dr. Alcachino was seriously really a very very nice professional medical doctor treating me very very well for Covid-19 also because I seriously really have been psychiatrically hospitalized here at this hospital multiple times in the past and I seriously really have NEVER had any issues being hospitalized here and I seriously really have used to be psychiatrically hospitalized in the CCIS Unit here at this hospital when I was a teenager! Excellent Service! And Thanks so much for great excellent hospital care!

I took somebody there was a medical emergency there were very quick kind and friendly and diagnose this problem gave him medications and sent him on the way very quickly fastest I've ever seen anybody go through a emergency room. Parking is not too good could not find any handicap parking at all I thought it was full I couldn't even find it. They have a parking garage that you have to pay for tricky to get a voucher for free parking but if you're going to the hospital who cares if you have to pay $4 for parking to get treated

Had a panic attack and called the crisis center. Was taken to the ER and held there for 13 HOURS because I was considered a danger to myself, even though I had no intent on hurting myself and just wanted to go home after my head had cleared, but they wouldn't listen to me and the fact that I had a support system and counseling sessions to keep me safe and stable. Lady I met with kept insisting I go to the psych ward, implying they could bring my in by force if I didn't agree (again: I explained that I was fine 20x over at this point). Injured my side while I was there due to a bad tic attack (tourettes), lady at the desk said she'd get the nurse but never did. I was laying there yelling in pain and no one helped me. Was dragged to another unit doubled over from pain in my side without a wheelchair. The whole time there I just felt invisible, and like no one would HEAR me. Absolutely one of the worst nights of my life. @#$& this place.

Tonight I went to ER to get immediate relief from pain I have bad tooth infection but the nurse on duty and duty doctor or nurse practitioner behaving so rude why u come over here this is not for dental treatment. Even that's not for dental treatment they have some manners for how to treat with patient.
When they give me discharge paper I walked out and ask for medicine even then she turned her face to other side . I don't understand why they took me in if their is not any dental treatment available over there and leave me unattended for 2 hours .

The staff worries more about getting you out of their sight than trying to diagnose you and send you home. Received no pain killers my visit for the pain I was in. Was sent home without any help from doctors

Wonderful hospital if you complain to patient satisfaction. After two separate visits with misdiagnoses and no answers, we are convinced that Monmouth Medical is Shutter Island. Wouldn't go there for a bandaid.

If I can 0 stars, I would...
Was in hospital for 5 days, 3 days on induction and 2 days after baby showed up. 3 days was great, nice room, very friendly staff, no complains.
2 days after my baby showed up, we were on different floor, different room and different people around us. It was a nightmare... every 15 minutes someone was coming to the room -checking blood pressure... checking temperature.. bringing pills... asking how I feel... do we need anything... tell me my doctor will come today... etc. Do I really want to know and answer all those questions at 5AM??? really! I had a feeling there is over 100 people in my room, coming non stop! Ridiculous! I just suggested keep the door fully opened, so they don't have to knock...
After all, when we got home and I needed to provide documents for insurance company, we had no discharge documents. When I called to the hospital, they said I can use crib paper and my child band as proof!!! That's theirs discharge documents! Insane - crib paper and band?!? Insurance company probably thought I'm crazy!!! Hospital not giving patient not even one piece of paper where you can see mother name, baby name and date of birth?!?!....

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay. Great nurses in the ER, Anthony, Adam and Russell. Then went up to the 6th floor nurses and aides couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, Laura, Melissa, Jenn, Iris are great nurses, the aides were super helpful, sorry I cant remember all their names. Food service kept getting my order wrong, but they too were very nice and always corrected the mistake.

terrible and judgemental hospital. They need more group doctors because the ones for sickle cell is terrible !! They treat them like drug addicts and kick them out even when theyre still in pain. Isn't this a blood disorder hospital?! so why treat the sickle cells like sht but the cancer patients Oh so lovely?!? You guys better do better because a lot of them are fed up. And they might report you all. Terrible place and judging! !! I saw my friend crying because she was still not we'll and they didn't care they put her on lower meds and discharged her. This isn't the first time I heard someone died from that place because of carelessness. Do those doctors care or are they just there for money?!?!?! Treat my friend and other people there with the respect and care they deserve!!

Had angina type symptoms a few days prior.this morning drove an hour from home to spend the day on the beach with wife. While driving down, I felt chest discomfort, vertigo and swearing. Tried to ignore it and drove to beach. Unloaded the car and drove it 2 blocks where I parked it. Still had chest discomfort, was sweating profusely and vertigo. As I walked I became short of breath.
Decided to call my wife and tell her a day a beach attendant called an ambulance.
Arrived here and blood was taken and due to my medical history I was told I be staying until more tests could be done tomorrow. I arrived here at 1030am. It is now 950pm. I was given a turkey sandwich at about 1pm.nothing since, no water. I was told at 2pm I'd be in a room shortly. Again at 6 I was told I'd be in a room. At about 9 I asked the new shift nurse about being put in a bed my back was starting to bother me. She then said to me "well, I really can't vouch for what the other nurses told you. This place is the pits.

Truly one of the finest hospitals in our region! My husband came in for emergency surgery of 2 blocked Kidney stones. The ER was outstanding, Dr Keselman was incredible and by 11:30 am he was in the OR. They truly were wonderful as was his overnight care and discharge as well. The nurse even called the next day to see how he was. We never had such a good experience in a hospital before. MMC was wonderful!

Our experience with the Monmouth Medical Center and Labor and Delivery Staff was nothing short of fabulous. The entire staff were truly amazing throughout our stay and I would like to single out Sara from Labor and Delivery and Amanda from Post Delivery who really went above and beyond for us. Aside from the overall outstanding service we received, we were observing a Jewish holiday which can be inconvenient for the staff with some limitations on our end, and they have not only been understanding but bent over backwards to accommodate us in the best possible way with the most gracious and accepting attitude. This sentiment has been expressed by over a dozen of members of our community who have been in the hospital during the same period of time. So I say thank you and keep up your great work!

Worste hospital I ve ever been too. Every procedure was a mess up. Had to be re done by another doctor. Will never be back ever. I ll just stick with chop for any future times. I work at another one and the care that was showed at this one gets a one star the one nurse Melissa at the nicu is a very very good nurse she s 5 star . Dr mogue 5 star. excellent. Problem is this place is ran like a jail if only people knew about their nicu scam. I d tell you to never have a child born here go anywhere else and itl be better care. I m telling you if your having a child never bring them here anywhere else will give them that much more care. I m repulsed about this place. Sorry they even call that a hospital

I absolutely hated this place. My dad went to this hospital to get neck surgery and the nurses in the waiting room were so rude. My dad gets a section separated by a curtain, don't mind that. But only one person could be with him at a time. And no one informed us of this. So I am just waiting and waiting to be called to see him before surgery. And when I go up to a nurse, inam left standing in front of them until I am shushed by one of them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Finally I had to just go there and bluntly ask where my dad was.
Oh and let's talk about the surgeons who walk in late like celebrities. After my dad's surgery it took the man 3 days before he saw my dad again. And no one knew when he was coming back. My dad kept asking questions about the surgery, what positions they had him in, what actual material s were in his body, so they sent a nurse practitioner that worked with the surgeon who was not even in the operating room. And when she could not answer his questions she said to my dad "what does it matter?" Like those acutual words came out of her mouth. I witnessed it. And then told him to take anxiety medicine. Like he was crazy for asking too many questions.

I stayed the first night with my dad, and most of the nurses were amazing. I must say. Although one gave me attitude because I kept asking for a breathing apparatus for my dad. But besides that my overnight stay was very pleasant.

Now let's talk about security. Each time I left they were nice enough to give me a parking pass. But the last time I was greated by a large man in a tailored suit. Because they told me to go to the head of security to ask, I go up to him and say "excuse me, I was wondering if I could have a parking pass" only to be met by "OH YOU WAS WONDERING HUH?" you have to go to rehabilitation center to get it. Oha and when I left, a snarky comment of "I GUESS YOU NOT WONDERING ANYMORE" . Disrespectful is what they are.

Let me tell you something, I myself work in retail and hate leaving comments like this, because I deal with some rude ass people. But because of my experiences I try to be nice and respectful everywhere I go. And hope to be treated back with respect. Especially in a hospital where tensions are high. But never have I ever been disrespected so much. So I hope this helps you organization treat people with more respect.

Absolutely unacceptable medical service! If you or a loved one is battling cancer, do not go to this hospital. No matter how ill, they consistently leave their patients waiting for hours to be seen putting their lives at risk by not efficiently receiving treatment. Find a place that will make you a priority in all medical emergencies.

Could not ask for a better experience here, all of the nurses and assistants made me feel like I was at home. I was on the 5th floor and the nurses ryan, lyndsay and Susan were the nicest and most caring people I have had the pleasure to meet, they helped make me feel like i was on a vacation in the hospital somehow. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone

Mom was admitted a couple of times already and nurses and staff are very nice.
My brother was admitted too and stayed for almost a month and was saved by the doctors and nurses who attended him.
No hospital is perfect they will always have flaws but my loved ones can attest of their good service.
