Very cozy park Mondo Verde. The ticket price is not the lowest (by our standards: 25. But for this you get a huge space with beautiful nature, animals, places to eat and ride simple attractions. The park has a mass of animals: Lions, tigers, lemurs, kangaroos, (people: D), horses, kangaroos and many others. A bunch of different birds, fish, monkeys. The ticket price also includes free food: the park is large and the route seems endless, so along the way you can often meet restaurants where you can take I didn t go into everything, but mostly there yut: dishes with rice, soups, drink lemonade, still have pancakes, buns. Everything is quite tasty, especially if you want to have a bite. Pleasant atmosphere, because there are few people around, silence and nature. of the fountain (I am guilty, I don t remember the exact name.) I was there for more than 5 hours and, frankly, I didn t manage to inspect everything. I was tired + the closing was soon. I advise everyone.

Nice park. But many trees and shrubs have been neglected. Waterfalls that drip or do nothing at all. Worse birds with nasty feathers and dirty water. And no one to be seen in 1 restaurant after 15 minutes. QUICK MAINTENANCE.

Perfect place for a day out with family and friends. Beautifully preserved nature and fun attractions for kids. Love thier restaurant aswell, friendly customer service and affordable price. Been there so many times and still looking forward to go there more often. The kids love it and so do the parents

A very beautiful park. you do not have to bring food or drink, you can get everything there for free. Sandwiches like fries croquette frikandel like coffee tea soup rice with sauce. Was delicious.

Nice zoo, attraction park and garden in 1. Best combination .. There is plenty to do for everyone. Very nice outing for the whole day. It is a pity that the entrance fee includes food. The food is tasteless and few options for vegatarians. Prefer to make an entrance ticket for admission only.

Reasonably nice park to walk through if you do not imagine much. The plantation is beautiful but the buildings (of the world) are outdated and kitschy. The zoo part is poor, they do not look happy and do not have such nice cages. Many species are not there, for the animals you do not have to do it. There are also not many attractions, but what is there is going to happen. They are not beautiful or not decorated at all in a theme. Also often very bare in terms of planting eg at the splash.
Food: food is inclusive in the ticket price ... But what is on offer is poor, greasy and not healthy. Everything is also reserved in plastic trays, plastic cutlery, plastic cups and bottles, soup in plastic bowls .... Also at the makis you can buy food in a plastic ball. The result is that the Maki islet and in the water is littered with those little balls. Should Mondo Verde not be environmentally friendly? Outrageous, I do not understand. To cause so much waste! Provide real glasses, real cutlery, real plates, ... So that everything is reusable.
Sorry I do not mind a re-visit.

first more than an hour, covid is not respected. you have to open and close doors, no disinfectant gel (luckily with it), park has potential, but maintenance is pass. animals are small and if you see heavy geese swimming in smelly pond, drainage is off, no change. stench is unrelenting. no plans / overview in park. you have to buy a plan (and also pay parking). and sit down for an hour and a half for fries without respect for social distancing. I can also sell All-you-can-eat, including admission price. not nice if you have 2 children with you. Been there once. no 2nd time.

We go to this park regularly every 3-4 years.
Unfortunately, we had to find out today that the care status is very poor.
The flower beds, lawns and paths urgently need care.
Why I give only one star is due to the unworthy attitude of the animals.
Today I saw 10, partly, very large birds (herons and storks) in an aviary that is a maximum of 8x5 meters.
The negative highlight, however, was the white tiger lying alone on a wooden platform in a much too small enclosure.
Nowadays there can be no such thing. The nearby Gaya Park actually demonstrates how to keep animals fairly appropriately. (Although I think that animals belong in freedom)

The admission price for a family of four, plus parking plan and parking coin of 61 euros is not justified due to the state of care and animal husbandry.
Unfortunately, today was our last visit to the park, which used to be much nicer.

It's a pity ... are beautiful gardens with very well-kept botany. The animals have (in our eyes) too small enclosures. And the food is provided in a large number of single-use plastic dishes. Then what is called Mondo verde? I found that very annoying and unnecessary! For me, unfortunately, this is not a thoroughbred eco, because it is different, as other parks show.
Another point of deduction is that there were far too few opportunities to play in our eyes. So of course there are rides, but only a few playgrounds, where children can climb or slide and you can really take a break. Therefore unfortunately only 3 stars. Was nice and the annual tickets are (especially compared to the day tickets) quite cheap, but we will probably not come back anytime soon.

Enormous beautiful gardens

Enormous beautiful gardens
The relationship between gardens and animals was perfect.
Sufficient and clear information everywhere

Last Sunday we wanted to visit the beautifully landscaped park again. At the checkout, however, we were treated so cheekily and incompetently that we preferred to go back home. A family member is the holder of an 80% severely handicapped ID with markings G and B. On the homepage it is stated that there is a discount and the companion has free admission, but it would be checked by the cashier staff. So far it has always worked out well. This time everyone should pay the full price (annoying, but still no reason to go all the way back home), but in what tone and with which choice of words we were knocked on the ears was too much. When asked to bring the boss, the young lady went into top form and we were annoyed, disappointed and outraged. I'm still waiting for a response to my complaint via email - too bad

Well landscaped, various gardens are very well laid out. Some animal shelters could only be renewed. But you can tell at the construction sites that the park is developing. A nice place for a family outing. In spring you should wait for the cherry blossoms, the Zierkirsch-Allee is a real eye-catcher and a great photo opportunity.

It is more of a botanical park than a zoo, in fact it is a combination of both but it does not have spectacular animals, it is very big, it is beautiful, the price seems exaggerated for 2 adults and a child 71 euros entrance with parking included 5 euros per day costs the second embarrassing situation you can only pay with the maestro card if you have a master card debit card you have no chance to pay, there is no point in talking about credit cards, the only "advantage" is that in the entrance ticket you included food in different locations in the garden but the food is not of the best quality it is very inferior but you can eat as much as you want but you are not very interested in eating too much because it is not good (hunger goes) as well as soft drinks (juice to teak syrup the bees eat the bees, it's full everywhere from how much sugar the juice contains) the carousel, the train and what's left of the sea are also included in the ticket, it's a beautiful garden but not sensational for the money they ask for at the entrance!

Had bad experience, unfortunately.

Had bad experience, unfortunately.
We went to make our wedding photos in the park, but the staff received little cooperation, just pay the full price even if you are in the park for a short time.
No separate entrance, just stand in line at the entrance, not so handy with a wedding dress that is a bit longer.
Would be useful if you had a special arrangement for an occasion such as a wedding, that one feels special on such a special day.
Also not so convenient was that it was said that we were best around 12 o'clock could come, very convenient that all spray systems are on and I do not mean on the grass or between the plants but in the middle of the path.
So you can choose whether you get wet or go somewhere else because you can not walk around it or you have to climb through the bushes and plants yourself.
Unfortunately and especially the word pity comes to mind when I think of this, in my opinion is an opportunity for the park to make it more attractive for people who want to celebrate their wedding party here or take pictures.
Give the park 2 stars because it is so beautiful.
Beautiful photo locations if you can at least get there.

Beautifully landscaped gardens. Small well-kept animal park with, among other things, monkeys, tigers and birds. Bumper cars, bouncy castle, roller coaster, rocking boat and water course with tree trunks.

been a few times in mondo verde but yesterday was quite shocked how the park looked like ....... a lot of overdue maintenance, the boxwoods in the English garden all withered, you will never get them green again. there is nothing in the fountains but drab and algae. a year ago even though I read the reviews elsewhere. the Moroccan garden is nothing more, just weeds and the paint is peeling off, such a shame, this was the best part for me. where the camels walk was once white sand, now there is only weeds ..... when we entered the covered birdhouse it smelled so bad that we immediately walked outside again. and then the animals ...... sad, they are cared for by, as we were told, children from cita verde who are following an animal training ..... but the white lions must also be properly checked and the leopard and the camels etc ........
I wanted to go for an annual ticket but no, if it continues on this foot, the entrance fee is too high ...... too bad, it was so beautiful ......

Beautiful
Flowers for mom, animals and tracks for the kids and delicious food for dad. We had a great day with four children between nine and eleven. There are enough seats for short breaks. Yes, the lakes are green ... I don't mind. The park is well maintained, the few toilets were clean. The animal enclosures are large enough and largely redesigned. In the summer, a water raft is to be added. We will be back!

Park is reasonable, but mandatory all you can eat concept is worthless. More than an hour in line for a small portion of fries and a snack. Never mind (unfortunately it is paid for).
I'll never come back.

Great family park lots to do and a good assortiment of free food. They handled adapting to the Corona Virus well and there was enough space for everyone. But the park also has some down sides the site is hard to navigate and the park is not getting the maintenance it needs. But overall I had a great time and would go again if I'm near!

We were there Easter Sunday. In the park it was not crowded and the waiting time before the rides was acceptable. The snacks were good and there was no long wait. Only the food (chips etc.) was an unacceptable queue, which meant that all of us, 5 adults, could not have lunch. Then the all u can eat offer is not ok, if you pay at the entrance and then get nothing. Just as disturbing are the far too small number of toilet facilities. If a child needs urgently, it must be dragged through the park. That is not OK. The park is beautifully landscaped and it is fun to walk there. A few more umbrellas in the seating would also be recommended.

Nice day with the family. The children have given their eyes a living. The rides, such as a roller coaster, towards the end completed an exciting day. Afterwards still nice to go in Heerlen.

A zoo and amusement park combined. We bought an annual pass for the family straight away. We think the price-performance ratio is excellent.
The zoo part offers a lot of great animals and also a tropical house where you can get very close to the animals. Botanically it is also very nicely laid out. The animal highlight are the lemurs, which can be experienced, touched, fed and petted freely in their enclosure.
The water rides, carousels, bumper cars and other attractions are a bit old, but are unrestrictedly fun. Everything is included in the entry price. You can spend a whole day here without any problems. Clear visit recommendation.

A very nice park.

A very nice park.
The idea of all you can eat is really great ...
The food is of course quite simple but for the price it is really a great park with various rides and lots of nature ...
You should definitely think of water for the day, as this costs extra in the park. Hot drinks and slush are included in the Preus.
We also found the layout with many quiet areas very pleasant.

a nice concept in itself, the combination of attraction and animals makes it very nice with names for the children. The park was too busy for corona times unfortunately, the trash cans literally bulged while there was a real wasp plague, you guessed it ... extremely many wasps nuisance, tables were really not normal to use, there were just around 20 wasps on 1 table top. Very sorry. Concept is good, but hygiene and maintenance are lacking. Entrance fee against it is acceptable. I had a good time but would certainly not drive that far again to visit this park

We liked the park very much. The concept of the meal flat rate is interesting and good. The entire park is clean and the attractions are nice for families. The animals sometimes felt a little little space but they all make a good impression.

Very nice. Only sometimes a little overdue maintenance. Very unfortunate that the beautiful images are so dirty. Just a high pressure and it is clean again. And that something to eat at the restaurant. Too little choice and very small portions

Great afternoon in the great park. There is something for everyone. Animals, attractions and beautiful theme gardens.
Highlight for the children was the wild water park and the enclosure with the free-roaming monkeys, which can be caressed. Also, the price is totally ok, especially since you can eat and drink all you can eat there. And there are really some there. We will definitely come back and recommend it.

cool

We were in the park today with a Groupon voucher. The positive first, the park is quite okay. There are many parking spaces and the tropical house was quite nice. The monkey island was also very nice. The rides are all inclusive and very nice.
Negative was definitely the all you can eat, there is really only pasta with two sauces, two soups, rice with two sauces, sandwiches, drinks only warm or slush ice cream. There is not even water all inclusive. There should be French fries according to the website, but there was not. Fruit is not. Drinks such as water, cola, juice are only for a fee. The enclosures for most animals are far too small.
For the normal price of 25 we consider the entrance as overpriced. With the Groupon price of about 16 the trip was okay. But we will not repeat.

Mondo Verde is worth a visit in every season. Every season has its advantages. You can travel around the world in one day, be it through the beautifully landscaped gardens or admire the wildlife in the tropical house, in the large aviary or in the entire park.

Entry is an all you can eat offer that includes drink and food.

It is a very nice and clean park that is worth the entrance fee.
If you have a question, the staff are happy to help.

For me and my son a park where we are very fond of and always love to go back.

Super fun due to the variety of animals, gardens and playgrounds. The all-in concept is also ideal. Food is tasty and the 2 restaurants also offer different dishes. Something for everyone.

Very nice and versatile park. Beautiful gardens with variety of animals.
Very nice the maki that came to eat from your hand.
Attractions only for small children.
All in formula very good. Everything looked after and clean.
Too bad that flat water was not included.

Very nice, especially with children. Smaller attractions for older children and also for us;)
The all you can eat basically "only" consisted of french fries, spring rolls and frikandeln but that was foreseeable. However, there were also crepes on the bumper car. The best thing to do is to take drinks with you as you (at least we didn't see more) could only get free drinks from one place (not when eating). Otherwise you can also buy some. Still very nice and worth a trip.

Not recommendable.

Not recommendable.
Part of the park was closed due to a music festival nearby. The entrance fee of 25, - Euro per person was not reduced. The largest part of this complex is very neglected, there is clearly seen that only a few attractions still something cleaned. With the rest, I have the feeling that you leave everything to yourself. I am not an animal husbandry expert but many enclosures are anything but fair to me as a visitor.
Conclusion: Never again.

Actually very nice, but unfortunately the animals have very little spout. The park is so big, but the enclosures partly tiny, especially for the predators. The animals also look very emaciated. A little little playgrounds. Well, the food and rides are inclusive. Food is OK. Drinking is coffee and a weird super sweet soda included, but not water. What is really delicious, are the pancakes, but you wait for it (on days when it is not so full) at least 30 minutes.

Very nice park

Very nice park
Staff could be nicer, especially at the checkout counter
All you can eat is ok, it's a shame that the drinks don't include water
