If you are in need of psychiatric care this is not the place. I called in June and it took a month for my first appointment in July which was over the phone due to COVID. I was told someone would call me in 2-3 weeks. After a month I called once every two weeks leaving voicemails with the supervisor and director as instructed. Each time giving full details as to why I was calling and asking for someone to please call me back. By the end of September I had given up. I find the whole situation to be quite ridiculous. These are professionals who are supposed to be in the business of helping people and couldn t manage a simple phone call in two months. I think they should take their job more seriously considering what they do and that people reaching out for help may not be in the best frame of mind. Needless to say I have gone elsewhere but not before putting in a complaint with the BBB. It was only then that I received a letter from them apologizing and stating that they were investigating.

Terrible place. Walked in to get a psychiatrist and they turned me away because I already had a therapist at a different agency and didn t want to transfer that part of my care because at that point, I had been with her for 6 years. Money hungry and picky about who gets help.

Only go here if you are extremely abusive or high on drugs. They actually don't care about helping families or people with other problems what so ever. All a scam to make money. Paid $175 for a 15 minute visit for them to say they couldn't help me. Thanks!

The representative they connected me with on Wednesday at 9am was very pushy, incredibly rude, and started to scream at me through the phone in a clearly irritated manner because I am hard of hearing and kept apologizing for asking her to speak up. When I told her that the way she was talking to me was rude she said "sorry, but you're not really giving me a choice here" then scoffed at me. When she put me on hold, the machine eventually hung up and there was no follow up call. Terrible morning staff customer service. I should have read the reviews before calling.

Had an intake appointment there and they never ever got back to me about a therapist or which DBT group they were going to assign me. I called and my current therapist called SEVERAL TIMES, including the CLINICAL DIRECTOR, left with voicemail every time and they NEVER REACHED OUT BACK. This place is a joke. Extremely unprofessional. Will never recommend to anyone and never will return.

The staff employed, many have their own problems and are not caring or tolerate of patient care. They sabotage patients well being. The area is in great need of better educated and trained facilities which will promote mental health awareness and give support and not hinder people with serious illnesses. They should be closed down and bought out by those who are willing to do the job right. Mental illness has a stigma that needs to be demolished in this time and age. It is no longer the 1930's where families hide family members in attics...this is no different than any physical ailments and society and support people need to stop pointing fingers, neglecting and start giving humane treatment. MFS is far from doing so and has deteriorated these past decades. They have an overturn of staff on a constant basis so are constantly hiring new staff. I highly suggest those in need seek help elsewhere. Gov Sununu has no clue to the true need in this state. He is more concerned with gaining votes, visiting local restaurants. The opioid epidemic has replaced mental health. Many are born with mental illness while those who choose drugs, get better care than those who had no choice but give the govt a reason to get more money, they will gladly sign up, using for what they wish, not always the need. Very few are born with drug addiction opposed with those who suffer mental illness from birth and.or their environment raised. They say it takes a village to raise a child......it takes a heart to treat the mentally ill as they so deserve.

They have literally made my life more livable. They have supported me with case management, psychiatric evaluations (when needed), weekly therapy, support groups, a personal trainer to work on heath and nutrition, and a psychiatrist to oversee my medications. They also provide 7x24 emergency support and staff a psychiatrist at the local hospital for screenings for possible hospitalization if needed.
This agency is a non-profit that works with anybody, no matter what their financial situation is. The 1 star reviews seen here are all written by people who seemingly don't actively participate in their treatment. In order to get any prescriptions written out, you must demonstrate that you attend weekly therapy, etc...

At first I thought it was not the place for me, but one of the counselors is helping me and she is great. She is getting me services when I need them. I do see psychiatry and I do not care for the person I am seeing. She does not ever listen to me and I do not know what to do about it. Everyone else has been really understanding. About the bill: I think the receptionist has to ask == I am sure that arrangements can be made for payments if you don't have all the money. I am sure they are good about that. Don't blame them. They have to ask for the payment. Just tell them you don't have the money.

A vital organization for our community in the Monadnock region. This gem of a non-profit provides critical services for our local families and friends, especially during times of crisis, as our community and state are now in with the opioid epidemic. The clinicians and employees that I've met at MFS are all passionate, kind, and dedicated professionals, who work hard and put their patient's wellbeing first.
