The first experience was good we order quail and received 4 in each order, after that it was one problem after another, The owner George was awful, we ordered quail and he sent us frog legs, we we called him and he stated He ran out of quail and decided frog legs would suffice We threw away the gross frog legs.

The third time we ordered we received 3 quails per order instead of 4 quails....

These people are rude and unprofessional and will never order from them again

Mona s was a great find and I'm a picky eater. I saw my people's (Armenian) food in the area and came to what I thought was Sasoon Restaurant, but turned out it was replaced with Mona's. Lebanese, Armenian, same thing, so I decided to give it a go. It's rare that I find a place that serves delicious hummus and beef kabobs. Thank you for being one of very few on my list.

The place had a few groups of customers dining in during lunch hour and it seemed to be run by an elder gentleman and a host/waitress. The gentleman greeted me and took my to-go order. Although the beef kabob was above average cost, it was also above average quality and taste.

The kabob was marinated and cooked to perfection. The salad was dressed exactly how I like it. And the hummus was as good as it gets.

My only comment to ownership is - please provide your take out customers more durable utensils. I absolutely despise getting cheap utensils that can't even stay steady by a grain of rice. I'm sure nobody enjoys having utensils like that.

The beef shawarma at Mona s kitchen was superb. Probably the best in LA and the closest to authentic Lebanese style shawarma.
The meat had crisp but not overcooked and the tahini sauce was great. The wrap hd the proper ingredients for a successful explosion of flavors in your mouth.
We want to come back and have a full feast with more than just Shawarma.
The best of all is that George who is the owner I think was extremely nice and friendly and cane outside to ask me how the sandwich was and if I needed anything else.
Highly recommend this place for Lebanese cuisine.

On 12/15/20 I ordered $95.00 dollars worth of food through postmates and they canceled My order after picking it up due to Driver emergency. I was told I needed to place my order again, minutes after placing my order again before This George Guy called me from Monas kitchen asking what kind of game are we playing, and asked me if I already placed the order, I said yes! but I never received it, before I can tell him what happened he started yelling at me and cursing me out he then stated he will not place another order. mind you he s getting paid twice once from postmates canceled order, and from me again for the second order ... this George guy is crazy, super rude, And disrespectful . I would never recommend this place for Delivery service.

On the way back to San Diego, we decided to stop in at Mona s Kitchen for dinner. The food was extremely delicious and the service was great! We had the Mediterranean Shrimp and the Mixed Grill Plate. We will definitely be back the next time we are nearby!
