Great the Stew was delicious this was a great find heading home to Ohio
Excellent food and drink. The shepherd's pie was delicious. Service was fast efficient and friendly. A little bit on the pricey side but the decor is gorgeous. Overall a great evening and a great place to hang out with friends.
My husband said it was the best steak he's had in a long time. However, though I liked my meal there was a lot of room for improvement. The wait staff was great and the ambience can't be beat.
Great Irish food. But they don't serve straws. So bring your own.
Great atmosphere. We walked in on a Sunday floor lunch, after the art museum. Had the 2 kiddos in not the best of moods. Didn't plan it. Great service, massive portions. Will be fun on a date night too.
Awesome food!!! Jameson Steak and fish-n-chip's were delicious. Peanut butter pie is really good. Pudding cake was terrible.
Really like the idea of this place. Good menu with Irish food, drafts, and spirits along side a healthy selection from other places if Guinness or Jameson isn't your thing. My only complaint is I've been left disappointed with the service a few times, would be 5* otherwise.
Also noteworthy, the bathrooms are down a set of stairs in the basement which could be difficult for anybody having a hard time getting around, but there may be an elevator.
Good food. Cheerful servers. This has become my favorite downtown restaurant.

Went for lunch with a friend; first time after the reopening for both of us. We ordered off the express lunch menu. I had clam chowder and the SW style chicken bowl. The soup was standard industrial chowder from a can. The bowl was an embarrassment. The cilantro rice was full of brown dried sticks I can only assume was cilantro at one point. Thrown on top were a single piece of grilled chicken the size of my thumb, a slice of avocado, three quarter-wedges of tomato, and an enormous slab of bell pepper. No sauce of any kind, just a cup of ranch. I had to cut everything up then try tossing it together. It tasted of nothing. Friend had the potato leek soup and the Thai shrimp bowl. The soup had the consistency of paste. The shrimp in the bowl was cooked well, but mediocre kimchee, mango, and daikon slices aren't Thai and made the whole thing taste weird. We're not in any rush to go back
Server was friendly, seated quickly. Been coming here over 10 years but last 2 times food quality has declined but prices have gone up!! Waited an hour both times for food. Beers delivered promptly however. No Irish music playing, just 70s rock and roll????
I went to Molly's for the first time since the new owners took over. We went to see the Christmas decorations and enjoy a bite to eat.
The Shepherds pie was fantastic! Hot, full of flavor, and very filling.
The Covid safety practices were in full effect with staff and patrons wearing masks. Tables were spaced apart so no one felt too close to one another.
Wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu.
Strongly recommend this place!
Very limited menu. The staff was running around like toddlers at a playground. Order the steak and it said it came with asparagus but when it was delivered and appeared to be broccolini nothing was said about it changing.
Got a seat right next to the fire which was awesome on a cold and blustery day. Waitress was friendly, took our orders and was great about checking back without being annoying. I ordered a black bean burger with fries. Fries were hot and tasty. The black bean burger had their secret sauce which was flavorful. They only down side was the burger was mushy. But overall a good experience.
Great authenic Irish pub & grill. Good food & excellent service
Was a cute atmosphere and made you feel like you were in Ireland.
Great food, great atmosphere. Holiday decorations were nice.
Great selection of Irish whiskey's and Single Malts
Had a great time! Love the decorations! Alex is awesome!
Great atmosphere and the staff is awesome....recommended to everyone looking for a outstanding meal and service.
Great food and lovely environment. Staff was very friendly.
Reuben fanatic but was not impressed. Too much meat, barely any sauerkraut and dressing, also I don't even think they fry it. However, they have a great selection of whiskey, to the point of absurdity. Never had an issue except one time involving a 'buddy' that works there and a bartender. Not a big deal though.
My opinion, it's a more enjoyable place earlier in the day
Ordered boxty with ground lamb, no ground lamb, then they didn't make any boxty that day. Bummer.
My first time there and the food was great. Staff is pleasant and on the ball. I'll go back for sure. Nice and clean and lots of room.
Good food. Nice traditional Irish pub. Friendly service
Excellent food and great service. Jen was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience for me.
Awesome food. Beautiful place and the service was great.
Appetizers and hockey. We went for the otters but ended up watching penguins. Feed from the OHL was bad. Great queso dip and spinach artichoke dip.
My food was not as good as I had hoped. I ordered the Shepard's pie and it was really lacking salt / savory. Like they forgot the worchestire sauce. It also used to be served with a delicious slice of Irish soda bread which was nowhere to be found anymore. My husband's fries with his burger were cold as well. Disappointing.
The new owners increased the prices of everything but I do not feel that the quality of the food went up as well...actually quite the opposite because I used to love Molly's.
Our server was great though, friendly and accommodating. I just dont think I will be back until I hear better things about the food.
This place has really turned around since the new ownership took over. The food is far better than it had been and the service is pretty good as well. I'm a pretty basic "Rueben" guy but everything else I have had has been good as well.
Good food, great service, and comfortable atmosphere for a business lunch.
Delicious pub fries great atmosphere and friendly staff worth your time!!!
Friendly staff and service, delicious food and drink options in a cozy environment.
Only had shepherd's pie, but it was pretty authentic
Definitely in my top ten favorite category. I can't say enough good things about their awesome foods and phenomenal service.
Very comfortable atmosphere, clean, very friendly staff. The Jamison Steak was top of the line and Guinness to wash it down. Prices depend on what you want, good overall for what you get.
Atmosphere is important, but having a good staff and bartender seals the deal for me. Ashley was awesome and definitely made my trip in Erie worth it, hoping to come back again (she makes excellent drinks too). Fried pickles are delicious, as well as their quesadillas with buffalo chicken inside. Good place to watch a game and have a few drinks.
Awesome food, great atmosphere. Everyone was super friendly. Definitely my new favorite restaurant!
Nice cozy atmosphere. The dinners are nothing spectacular, but if you're looking for a place to drink and hang out with friends this is the place.
This is a great pub to go to during off hours. It's very noisy inside, but the decor is cool, the food is good, and the staff are nice. I had the Reuben sandwich-- the corned beef was good, but the sauerkraut was almost so mild I couldn't taste it. The fries were excellent! They put some sort of breadcrumbs on them to give them a unique texture.
Went for lunch during the Tall Ship Festival.
Lunch was wonderful. Staff fast and very knowledgable. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in Erie

I have never had bad food or bad service here. The food is decent priced for the amount and has always tasted great! Service is always amazing here no matter how busy they are. The restaurants around Erie need to take pointers from this establishment! Will definitely visit again! Had the fish, Reuben egg rolls, the stew, and a few other items, recommend all of them.
Fun Irish pub. Nice set up. Good food, and service. Big selection of beer, and whiskey.
Stopped here on the way back from Niagara Falls. Nice joint with a great atmosphere. Had the Shepherd's Pie, it was tasty
The atmosphere was great but my food was just okay. I ordered the boxty and it lacked flavor, presentation, and it was cold. Won't be ordering that again.
Nice place, food was very good with a great selection of spirits and beer
Best place to grab a guiness and good food in Erie...we always stop in when we are visiting Erie
Had burgers and potato skins and onion rings and beer. Was a little pricey but the service and food was good. We live in Las Vegas and enjoyed the local food and company.
Service was great and food was really good. And they have a fireplace for these never-ending winter days. We were in from out of town and chose this place at random....and happy we did.
Very disappointed with food. Reuben was so greasy and slimy. Before new owners was a favorite stop but food has gone downhill
Get the French fries. They are damn good. The cookie and ice cream are worth the extra calories.
Small portions, warmish beer, overpriced. Cool building though.
It isn't common for pubs to have a vegetarian option at all, but this one has more than one! I have a black bean burger, which tasted great and did not pretend to be meat. Added some onion rings. Wish they have vegan meals on the menu, but you can't have everything and what they do offer was tasty. They have also recently remodeled and the place looks as nice as the food tastes.
Outstanding Irish fare!! Great selection of Irish Whisky and Beers. Food and regular drink price all very fair. The only issue was the one shot I ordered turned out to be $15 by itself which was about $5 higher than what I would of expected from an $80 bottle of liquor so you may want to ask price in advance.
The place was nice but when we were seated all the way in the back I had to ask to be seated in the front. The hostess walked us past at least 10 open tables up front just to put us in the very back. The food was not very good either. But when I got the bill the high price showed that they were very proud of their product. I recommend sitting at the bar only for a drink.
Food is pretty eh, service was almost non existent and the whole place just gave off a 'we were pink on Wednesdays-you can't shut with us-wide set vagina' vibe from all the college students. Beer selection is pretty good though
Great food. Good service and atmosphere. One of the better burgers in town
With all the ownership changes I'm glad it seems to be settling down. Great food. And a couple of proprietary house beers that are notably good and not available hardly anywhere else - just restaurants that are affiliated somehow.
Came in on a whim, having passed it several times. I didnt know what to expect, other than it being decorated for St. Patrick's day, and a good selection of Whisky and beer. There was so much more. I normally skip appetizers, but I decided to try the chicken mulligatawny and ended up finishing the cup. Then the main came, guiness stew in a bread bowl and I was not disappointed. The stew was hot, the meat fell apart and the veggies were tender. It was all topped off by a pint of Harp and a double Jameson. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
Tonight I went to a 4 course whiskey tasting dinner. This was my 2nd event with them. It was amazing. Chef Micheal always comes up with the best dishes. The wait staff are very attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend any of the special events that Molly Brannigan's and Red Letter Hospitality ever set up.
Bangers and mash are legit. Service is terrific. Facilities are clean and cared for. Taps rotate frequently and cocktails are creative.
