I've never tried Yoga before, and I have to admit I have always been a bit skeptical about it However after trying out yoga at East van MokshaI was very pleased!

Their atmosphere is great, it is very comfortable. There seems to also be a very good sense of community here which is really nice to see as well.

I would suggest this place to anyone who is interested in trying yoga out.

I ve been coming to this studio since I moved to Vancouver last year and have been in love ever since. The staff at this studio are super friendly and welcoming, the yoga is high quality, and during these unprecedented times the staff have done an exceptional job of enforcing and respecting social distancing and cleanliness. This space has become my home yoga studio!

I bought a one month intro here a while ago...very nice and clean studio with great instructors and good people. Classes vary a bit from instructor to instructor and some have music, all of which were fun. Free street parking. You'll have a positive experience here.

Love this little hidden gem...completing a 30 day challenge and loving every day of it at this studio! Friendly staff, great tea. Any comments about it being "over packed" I would completely disagree with. How often is it that we get to live and breathe so closely with other humans? It is a lonely city we live in, I take pleasure in the infrequent "bumping into" one another in our poses. The collective experience of yoga is why I am here.

Moksha East Vancouver is an oasis from the relentless chaos which is my life. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is helpful and generally avoids offering life lessons from a book about life lessons. I leave class relaxed and toned. Also: they have live music classes with little/no talking= YES PLEASE!

This was my first yoga class ever and it was all I hoped it would be. I left the studio feeling relaxed and stretched. The next day I woke with some slight soreness in my muscles which proves that yoga not only stretches and relaxes you but it is also an effective workout.

I've done Moksha in a few different cities/locations and this by far has been the best one. All the teachers have something to offer but I'll always remember Kerr. During my last class there he read from the Tao Te Ching and it left such an impression on me that I'll never forget it. It's the least transactional yoga studio I've ever been to, and I wish there was one exactly like it in every city.

I can't fully express how happy I am with this place but I will try. Being a begging yogi can be scary in this city. At other facilities I have felt like I wasn't good/advanced enough to be there. Now that I'm injured on top of it I was intimidated to try again. No need to worry here. The staff are so welcoming and nice. All of the instructors are encouraging and very good at describing how to properly pose and respectful of each person's ability. The heat is wonderful and as each class goes by I feel better and can do more. It's also quiet, nicely decorated, and clean. I definitely would recommend going to Moksha Yoga.

This is one of my go to studios in the city. Close to home, very beautiful practice space with awesome light. Very clean studio with great changing facilities. The lounge is a nice place to spend a few minutes to connect with other folks who are practicing with you. There is a group of
great teachers, so while it may look like only a few classes are taught, each teacher has their own style of teaching the sequences, so there is LOADS of variety, making each class unique to each teacher. Hot yoga, good for the heart...
