I just moved to Florida from Boston, MA. and was looking for a very good Haitian
Restaurant like I used to in Boston. My nephew who lives in Florida for long
took me to MOCA CAFE. It was a good experience. The food, the service the
ambiance and the price were all around EXCELLENT. I called several friends and
pass the message to them.
Kudos to the owner. Brother, you make me proud. Wishing you all the best!
Nerlande.

WORST SERVICE! I went early evening on a Sunday. Most everything on the menu was unavailable. They were even out of Haitian Cola -____- Service was NON-EXISTENT, food had no flavor, owner/manager nowhere to be found, and they automatically add a tip! First and LAST time. Save your money and go to a REAL restaurant!

I agree that the food is a bit pricey. But the statement about the food quality is false I believe. I went there today (15 July 20102). Before even breaching the restaurant door, I had planned to scrutinize my visit.

The restaurant was really empty, my parents and I were the only ones there. But our waitress was so professional and friendly that we felt like we the only customers for a reason: we were going to receive the best service available anywhere in the area.

Our food took about 20mns to be read. While we waited the waitress came up to us numerous times, refilling our drinks making sure that we were ok.

The food was presented in a very professional manner. everything tasted fantastic. I will go back there again next time i'm in Miami

The food is good at Mocha Cafe and Lounge. It's a restaurant my father and I have been to several times for lunch. I also love the fact that this venue tries to incorporate different local Haitian acts inside of their venue.

Food was amazeballs! When we went in it was empty except for one other family. By the end though it started to fill up. Service was a bit slow and food took awhile to get there but I understand why. It was great and oh so tasty. We ordered coconut shrimp which was $8 for 5 small shrimps (waitresses told us in advance) buy we were expecting some jumbo shrimp at least. The sauce w it was bomb.

We ordered fried fish, fried pork, fried conch, grilled salmon. So yummy, fresh, good presentation. I was impressed.

Wish I could've tried the goat and steak but they ran out. Ambiance was nice.

My husband and I went there on a Groupon purchase . I had the fried goat which was delicious well seasoned and fall of the bone. My husband ordered the grilled conch which was a bit too chewy but had good flavor .
