The new patenga Sea beach is a delight for the eye. This place has gone through some enormous changes. Though the beach got smaller but it looks good. The embankment dam and the outer ring road project has changed the landscape of this area. And the changes have been for good. The beach has a lots of vendors now. Since the beach has become smaller the place becomes congested. Since the embankment dam goes miles after miles, there is much more room for people to sit around and watch the view. It's a great sight to watch sunset from here.

Recently last week i visited there in the early moring and i am shocked to see patenga beach after almost 1 year with new road and burmese market place is changed and feel so relaxed there

I went there in 2015. It is such a wonderful place to chill and enjoy time with friends.
The wave hit the concrete protector wall quite hard. There is a local market beside the sea beach. Barmiz products are available there. There also lots of things to do and enjoy.

Have to be cautious on bag snatching and hijacking. Sea, chatpiti is affordable. But be careful on mineral water.
