MobCraft Beer LLC Review

Mobcraft is the perfect brewery for those who enjoy slightly more adventurous beers. Based on a crowd-sourced voting method to choose which experimental brew will be next, they are never short on variety. Whether you re looking for a raspberry sour, something barrel aged, or even a beer kind of out there like a Fish Fry Rye, made with caraway seeds and strangely (although deliciously) reminiscent of fish fry minus the fish, Mobcraft is the place to find it. They offer growlers and canned or bottled beer to go, and will often have weekend yoga classes available both nice perks. Their tap selection is pretty large and has a great variety. The only downside is the beers are fairly pricey (but hey, you get what you pay for), and depending on how crowded the place is, service can be slow. All-in-all, Mobcraft is another great brewery contributing to the exceptional Milwaukee beer scene.

I loved it - great beer and great atmosphere! It was a little hard to find parking, on a Saturday night, and a little bit of a wait at first to get a table. Still had a good time!

Cool place, lots of good beers that are constantly changing. Stop in for a few if you get the chance! New kitchen is small, but the pizzas are great with a brew.

Love MobCraft Beer. They've got a wide variety of unique beers. Its always a treat stopping by as a lover of sour beers. They're also taking covid seriously. Tables are spaced out, plenty of outdoor seating, and they keep tabs on tables that have gotten up to clean them off. Well worth the drive up from Illinois

Excellent craft beer selection in downtown Milwaukee! The service is excellent too. The Iron Horse Hotel is right near this restaurant so I was able to walk from my room to MobCraft both nights I was in town last month. I will be sure to visit again the next time I am in the city.

Please don't do flights here! Unless you want an 80.00 bill. We did 2 flights here and it was almost 20.00 a flight since we chose stouts. I do like their beer, but I'm very upset leaving the taproom.

Pros: appears to have ok food, especially for a bar! Pretzel was aight! COVID-19 efforts for safety. Indoor and outdoor space. Dog bowls provided if asked. Experimenting with a lot of beers.

Cons: not a good IPA selection. They all taste the same and are underwhelming. Outdoor space has a good amount of tables but directly on the sidewalk & street.

This place is fantastic. I wish it weren't so close to my work so I didn't want to go here all the time. The beer is tasty, staff is quick, and atmosphere is great.

Mobcraft has a wide variety of cold brews to suit every taste. Their choices can even be suggested and created by the fans. Service is always top- notch and they care about their company. Food is only available when a truck is parked outside.

Half off refills of growlers on Tuesdays and unique beers on tap. Fun trivia too.

Meh. The space is very cool with ping pong, board games, and cornhole. The bartenders are great too. But the beer is just ok. Although the flavors are interesting the execution isn't very good. The beers we tried were kind of bland and flavorless.

Mobcraft has some amazing beer. I love everything I try there. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. They have board games, ping pong and foosball. Also, the staff is always friendly.

What am awesome brewery! The pizza was delicious and the flight of beer was tasty. The best part is that they had some games that you could play while you have beer!

We had an awesome time here! Bar was really packed but luckily we got a seat and the bartenders we're on point the whole time. They have a huge selection of their own original beers so much so that even three flights couldn't get us through them all! Definitely a top choice for trying new things in a great atmosphere!

Recently tried this brewery for the first time. Really solid tap list, lots to choose from. I went with an oatmeal stout which I enjoyed. The interior of the taproom is nicely appointed with a large bar, table seating, and some games to play. Nice decor as well. Would go back to try another beer.

Every beer hit all the right notes, community involvement makes you feel all warm & fuzzy as you order. Beer tenders are fantastic & very helpful with the selection process of ordering from such an extensive, something-for-everyone tap list. Did not eat any food but 100% convinced that my 5 stars would still stand if I had.

We really enjoy Mobcraft, however today the pedal tavern stopped by and the people that came in were totally obnoxious. Purposely pouring beer out of their glasses on the floor and tossing ping pong balls around. We will come back, but will leave as soon as the pedal tavern stops.

Everything is great, the concept, the place, the people who come and the owners. A brewery where they prepare beer devised by the people who consume it. Someone suggests an idea, it is put to a vote and the winning beer is produced! The tour they offer is very complete, they answer all your questions and they have a lot of passion to share what they know. You have to go. It gets very busy in the evenings and it's hard to get a table, well worth going.

This was one of the best brewery tours I've ever been on. Eric, our tour guide, started by reading all the negative reviews of the tour, which was hilarious. Eric then provided information about brewing beer that I've never heard at any other brewery tour before. He was funny, interactive, and knowledgeable. In short, if the tour sucks, it's because you suck.

Terrible service. Bartenders ignored us while we stared at them. Left without getting a beer.

Wow, took 20 minutes to get served and there was maybe 8 people at the bar on a Wednesday afternoon....8 people all with no or empty glasses. The bartender acted like nobody was there, even my neighbors complained without me asking. Added 1 star cause when I did get a beer it was pretty good.

Crowd sourced beers. Unique in the America. Beer is very solid.

The bartenders were friendly here and the beer was amazing. It s also in a good location and has a nice atmosphere. My favorite beers were Caramel Sundae and Batshit Crazy. Both were dark and had amazing flavor. My husband and I are not fans of sour beer normally; however, the Sour on the Vine was very good. There was also a tequila-barrel brewed beer named something Bob which was another one we really liked.

Great and interesting beers. People come up with the beers and the Brewers make them. They have flat bread pizzas but there is nothing else if you are looking for food.

Awesome space, great beer. Really all that needs to be said. But on top of that, they have a ping-pong table and plenty of board games. MobCraft has quickly established themselves to be on top of the microbrewery scene in Milwaukee.

Amazing bartender and some fantastic beers. The Black Whale-8.7% was an pleasantly odd sour stout and Batshit Crazy is a must on nitro- so smooth.

Great beer selection. They have tons of new crafts to try and the pretzels are huge.

Cool Craft brewery with open style garage doors that bring in those great weather days. There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. As you enter, you are greeted by the L shaped bar top that has plenty of seating to slide up to.

The beer selection is also pretty good with an ample variety that runs the gamut - should be fine for the average beer connoisseur. Staff here is decent, courteous and professional. A nice place to relax and sample (they have flights) some solid craft beer.

Always a good time at MobCraft. Would love to stage there for a night but for now the daily pizza works well enough.

They have unique beers and really good pizza. The staff are all really helpful and friendly. They also have various board games to play while grabbing a brew.

Nice indoor & outdoor space. And surprisingly good beer popsicles...

We saw a bachelorette party riding the pedal tavern and lots of people dressed up in silly outfits for the Kentucky derby. Staci ran inside to drop off a bunch of pens by Kimi.

The bartenders are super knowledgeable of everything on tap, and even other beers by other local breweries and in making comparisons to major labels when making recommendations to patrons. I walked in not liking beer and walked out in love with sours of all things. The flights, if you listen to bartender advice, are diverse and useful for picking a favorite or finding a go to. Really hope this place takes off.

MobCraft is my absolute favorite brewery/bar. I love everything from their crowdsource concept to the design of the taproom to their (of course) beer. If you're any kind of beer aficionado, you must make a regular pilgrimage to MobCraft. The girlfriend and I are proud members of the 2019 Mug Club, and already plan to renew for 2020.

Eclectic old warehouse atmosphere, great selection of brews, knowledgeable staff all make this place great. My favorite type of atmosphere to enjoy good craft brews. Well brewed and balanced traditionally as well as unique blends.

I'm actually here right now, you guys! This place is great! We just got done with a tour and our guide, man with beard, was awesome. See pics for a picture. Awesome beer and pretty good pizza too. I hope they bring back the dog friendly policies since it's a nice place to bring the dogs while grabbing a beer.

This is a reply to Andrew W more than a review of MobCraft. I love MobCraft beers and am very glad they made the move to Milwaukee. I haven't made it over there yet, because I have a toddler, a two month old and a dog. But I hope to get to the Grand Opening this weekend, and if I do I will probably have my two girls with me (the dog will stay home most likely).

Historically, many bars, pubs, and biergartens have been family (and dog) friendly. The parents grab a drink and socialize, the kids have a bite to eat, the dog sits under a chair, and everybody is happy.

Now I get that there can be problems here. If the kid(s) start throwing a fit in a space that is usually seen as for adults, then the parents need to nip the situation in the bud. Get the kid to calm down; if you can't, take her/him outside or just finish up quick and pay the bill. Also, once the clock starts getting past the dinner hour, a bar probably isn't the most appropriate place for children.

In general, parents know how their kids act and if they can handle a certain setting. Dog owners definitely should know. If the dog isn't going to behave in a crowded place, leave it at home. If it can't handle being around other dogs, leave it at home. But if it's just going to chill out, it's nice to have a dog around.

Ok, after saying all that, I think it should totally be up to a bar to ban both dogs and kids. But you know what, this is Milwaukee, and it's nice for parents and dog owners to go out and socialize.

Amazing selection of beers on tap. We went for Stout Fest (December 15th) and was blown away. Highly recommend.

There beers we're pretty good, but their customer service was absolutely awful. Will not be visiting again. The guy that was at the bar most of the time moved so incredibly slow and clearly had no interest in getting people served.

Took my wife to Milwaukee for her Birthday this weekend. How convenient there is a brewery across the street from out hotel. We stopped in here two days in a row for some yummy beers. We shared a few flights and tried a little bit of everything. They were all really good, I mean really good! The place is very nice with plenty of seating inside and out. They were busy both days and the service was great both days! Super friendly staff, great crowd, great atmosphere. Can t wait for our next trip up!

While beer isn't my favorite, it was interesting to see/ watch everyone enjoy the odd flavors.

The beer was ok, definitely not the best when compared to the other breweries in town. If you like sours, this would be a place to try since half of the beer list was a sour of some kind. The service was very slow, only two bartenders on a crowded Saturday afternoon. That is not an indictment on the bartenders themselves, they were doing the best they could. For the positive- the space was great and very relaxed. Free foosball and ping pong will probably bring me back in the future.

I will be recommending MobCraft Brewery to anyone who is interested in hosting their event somewhere that is friendly, entertaining, beautiful, and easy.
Elise made our experience of planning a last-minute wedding reception extremely easy and transparent. Not only was the pricing equitable, but the service and care went above and beyond our expectations. Our guests were over the moon with how beautifully and fluidly everything was set up for the reception. The pizza cooked in-house was a crowd favorite and quickly left the food table. The bartender helped attribute to the party atmosphere that we were aiming for.
We could not be happier with our experience.
