I attended NHCC and SCSU, I was student Senate President at NHCC and director of development with MSCSA(MN State College Student Association) loved my schools and I worked with MnSCU staff having served on various committes and scholarship boards.
I am a graduate of a MnScu college. I am also a former employee of a MnScu community college. Most instructors and professors are good teachers. Unfortunately, MnScu does not appreciate this and treats faculty very poorly. I will not say who, what, or where but a MnScu CC cheated me out of thousands of dollars. The incident has been reported and an attorney is involved.
Education at a MnScu school may be adequate and financially manageable. However, the place, especially hR is unethical. If you want to further your education and this is all you can afford the decision is clear. But do not expect Department Mgrs or Admns to be ethical or honest.
Classes are strategically arranged to keep you in school as long as possible. To get your degree on time you will most likely have to take classes at odd times.
