Mitchell Center

Don't be fooled by the exterior of this massive building. Though it may look like a cube, it actually isn't. Many don't know this, but if you go in, the cube shape simply disappears. The ellipsoidal nature of this building really shows off how modern science can trick the brain into thinking that cubes exist. Pretty good stadium, would recommend.

This was for a convention of Jehovah's Witnesses and it was amazing!

large arena, seats probably about 18k+very noisy place, shuttles to far away parking lots, pin your car location on an app or it may be hard to find, very spread out USA- University of Southern Alabama, near Mobile. Arrive at least 1 hour early to find parking.

It's a nice spot all our our high school graduations, cheerleading competitions, and USA basketball games that I've attended there. It very spacious, plenty of seating, lots of parking spaces with bus and shuttle services provided, the central air levels are comfortable, and the have huge screens displaying the stage or the court.

I went to a graduation at the Mitchell Center, the experience was not great. The graduation started at 5:30, they only opened the doors 30 minutes before the graduation. Not good. Handicap, senior citizens, etc, etc, etc., had to stand outside in the very hot sun. The doors should have been opened at lease an hour before the graduation. The graduation class had been there since 3:30. The Mitchell Center need's to get there timing together.

A bit loud and parking sucks but still the best place to watch the Jags play basketball!!

Attended my nieces graduation and the seating was perfect.

Nice clean venue. Seats aren't very comfortable and the stairs are pretty steep.

Attended an event. Seating rows a little cramped but seats were comfortable. The fall and grounds were very clean

Always clean and well lit. It's great for graduation ceremonies.

My niece graduated 5/16/2019 and it was amazing seeing her walk across stage... However, the place need some upgrades, the rest room was a complete disaster...

Great air conditioning, clean bathrooms, great number of bathroom stalls, staff helpful.

Parking available right in front of the building, clean surroundings, easy access. Inside is well lit, air conditioned, clean restrooms. Very well organized!

It is offensive to me that this arena would be so ill prepared for the 5000 people who are here that during the lunch have been standing in line for 45 minutes and some of the concession stands ran out of food where did they think all these people were going to eat?

The "Going Beyond" conference/simulcast with Priscilla Shirer was beyond amazing. A day filled with worship, prayer, praise, and teaching. The Lord showed up in a mighty way.

Took our son to the camp there. Great bunch of guys. Would love to see our son go to school there.

Need better choice of beers and South needs to win when I go to see them play.

I recently went to a graduation here and it was awful. Well just the staff was awful, the graduation was nice and clean. However, the staff was highly rude to my family. All 5 individuals I was with were mobility/hearing impaired, and the staff was so rude and even called security on us as we tried to explain why we had to sit in the mobility/hearing impaired section. My family members had walkers, canes, and hearing aids. It was awful. And we were not the only people they did that to. I'm sorry, just because someone may look young or not impaired, doesnt mean they are not.

We are having our Regional Convention here, and the Program is Fabulous.

Jehovah's witnesses Assembly was Wonderful experience

The parking was h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e to say the least. I attended the school years ago & I figure, they keep adding more & more, to raise the tuition higher & higher.

Just so roomy and I don't think it mattered where you were sitting it just wasn't no place bad it all had great views

Facility is top notch. Seats are ample for my wide self. Concessions leave a lot to be desired. Plenty of seats available.

Good place for venues. We have gone there for several events and they have all been good and the staff is always professional and courteous. I really enjoy going here for events. I just wish it was a little closer.

We've come here for the last 3 years for our Regional Assemblies, and it has always been the perfect venue to pass 3 short days learning more about our Creator Jehovah God and how to better put into practice the things that we learn from His precious, life-giving Word of truth, the Bible

I love the railings for the stairs. It helps me keep my balance.

All around a good experience clean bathrooms good parking

The best clean facility for big gathering in the city of Mobile Al and surrounding areas! Several large areas where chairs were not suitable to sit in needing repairs for safety were a concern this visit.

Very nice facility. It is well maintained. Clean restrooms very safe and comfortable atmosphere. this is a great venue at the University of South Alabama. I look forward to returning there to this wonderful facility.
