Great outdoor seating with views of the bay and the $1 oysters are a bargain. The sauces they serve with the oysters are delicious, especially the lemon, salt, & ice slush mixture they provide.

Mission Rock is a nice alternate to The Ramp when you want a little better food and calmer atmosphere. Sitting on the upper deck, the views of the bay are great and the ahi tuna sandwich is delicious. Lots of good seafood on the menu but the burgers are actually quite good as well. Great spot for lunch on a sunny day. Parking is free across the street, but metered on the same side.
Great location across the street from Chase Center! Beautiful views, friendly staff, delicious food, try the red and gold arugula, beet salad!
I come here for the dollar oysters, that's it. Every Monday-Friday from 3-7pm, Mission Rock serves Marin Miyagi Oysters for 99 cents each. Sure, they're a little on the small side, but anything pulled out of Tomales Bay is guaranteed to be pure and sweet. Excellent date location, for obvious reasons.
Typical American restaurant, historic restaurant, modernized, pleasant environments, good and plentiful food, courteous and professional staff. Better to book.
I went here last night for dinner/happy hour. The frozen Mai Thai was really good. The terrace was fully booked, so we went to the open seating section out on the water, and it was beautiful. Next time I will make a reservation, because the menu is different if you are eating upstairs, or outside.
Tough fish and too salty fries for fish and chips. Great setting, dine on the porch on nice days.
Great views but a little hoity toity and the food is decent
Always incredible place to sit on the deck and hang.
Brought back all the memories of when I used to go clubbing there. Outdoor drinks with a view you can't beat that!
Service is never great, and the food is mediocre, but the location and atmosphere are superb. Also, they have $1 oysters for happy our, and you can sit outside to eat them. There isn't usually a lot of people there (it's an early happy hour so you'd have to leave work early or do it on a day off).
Outdoor space to have drinks and just hang with people. Food is delicious too.
Food is good. You have to walk very careful with your high heels. The floor was not designed for high heels
best oysters and prices and views we love this place
I had a dinner here with my friend and it was a great experience!
This place has an amazing view of the ocean. We started our dinner with some glasses of wine. For my meal I ordered Shrimp Louie Salad. The shrimps were fresh and crunchy. My friend ordered Caesar with a side of salmon and enjoyed as well.
I highly highly recommend them!
Views are brilliant, food is okay, service could be better. Took a while to get attention.
Great place for happy hour, wonderful drink selection and the staff rocks. Sit on the deck to watch the sun come down across the Bay
The customer service is regularly swift, awesome character, very welcoming staff. Will come back again when I am in town.
Had some oysters during happy hour, 99c a piece! Try the lamb bites and the fries! They are excellent! Also we sared a mussle dish and I actually congratulate the kitchen for their sauce.
Get a table outside: it gets chilly even in a summer afternoon but the heaters are on and the water view, sealions included will increase the effect. The orange light of the sundown will go well with the house Cabernet or a draft beer!
MUCH more enjoyable during the week where it's peaceful & quiet, compared to the weekend where it's crowded AND noisy.
Came here for an outdoor socially distanced happy hour. Yum! We couldn't stop eating their oysters, delicious and such a great price at happy hour!! Get there early to snag an outside table under a heater and then relax! All the food was terrific, burgers, fries, etc. Didn't even have room for dessert!
Always love this place. Food is consistently really good. They could use a little help with the beer list, but I can always find something I like. Oysters, ceviche, tuna poke are all delicious. Fries are outstanding.
Delicious food and incredible service. Thank you Katie and Gerardo
It's a great place for brunch. Friendly staff. Been here for a private event as well. a really great spot with a diverse cocktail menu.
Great food and an awesome view of the Bay, the old working SF waterfront, birds, water, sky, and the East Bay hills. Truly a treasure.
The service is superb. Take a look at their raw menu first, complete with my favorite type of oysters. Plus, all of their seafood is fresh and yummy. They have a very creative cocktail list. I might need to make a goal to try each one (just not in the same night.) We dined here at night - beautiful views. Would love to see the water here during the day for brunch.
This place has a fantastic view of the bay and a $1 oysters for happy hour. The only con is the cost. I've been in the Bay area for 20 years; I've got no problems paying top dollar for good food and drinks, but everything here is just a few dollars more than it should be. But thankfully not so expensive that I would avoid it.
An absurdly pleasant place to have some oysters and champagne and look at the water. The vegan meatballs were awesome too.
My experience there was good. It was a rainy Saturday morning & I went there for brunch. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had the original eggs Benedict, the sauce could have had a little more flavor but overall good, I d probably get it again. The scenery was beautiful, it wasn t a busy Saturday morning so we had the place to ourselves at least it felt like that and It was very peaceful and calm.
Wow!!!! OMGISH!!!! What a perfectly beautiful place. The scenery is fabulous. The service is amazing. The food menu, the happy hour menu, the drink menu, the dessert menu, *ALL good'
Sit Indoors or outside. Watch the boats go by, or the waves wrinkle. See the people walking and doing the exact same thing from the pathway below. Or enjoy the views in quiet or in a group filled with laughter. Splurge and treat yourself to an expanded selection of delicious food options. Order oysters on ice, a bucket of beers OR just sip on a cup of coffee. It's all yummy. The atmosphere is delightful. It Can be casual or romantic. Set up a group meeting or plan an office party.
Anything you do is right at the Mission Rock Resort. Go now!
Enjoy
This felt like an eerily empty utopia, but hey it was utopic. We went there for brunch and were seated with a beautiful view of the harbor. We picked out some tasty cocktails and some eggs benedict options and the like. And then we waited. A waiter came by to bring a check to a nearby table, which must have been all dentists because wow their teeth were blindingly white. We chatted, waiting. The waiter brought some pitchers of booze to the next table of happily buzzed women again with such white teeth and then the waiter scampered off lazily. And we waited some more. And then left after a half hour.
The drinks were mediocre and the food was very greasy
Different from the funky place in an old lady's memory. Pleasant outdoor setting, calm atmosphere (at least for a lateish Tuesday lunch) and good food.
Ambience and views are super cool. We always bring visitors from out of town in for brunch. Little pricey but not too bad!
Acceptable food. Decent beer selection. Outstanding views.
What a great place for lunch, sit outside on the water and enjoy the view and the great lunch or brunch menu.
Nice restaurant but disappointing food. My buffalo chicken sandwich was good with the exception of the bun - I think the intent was for it to be toasted but it ended up more burnt. I should've taken a picture of the bottom, but it was a crunchy shell instead of a crisp bun. The vongole seems like it should have been better, but the baby clams were a bit chewy and not anything special. The fries and service were good.
I love this place! It's truly a gem right on the iconic San Francisco Bay. And did I mention that the service is just as wonderful as their oysters.
Gorgeous view. relaxation environment. Fast and kind service. Great menu
Great waterside spot for the afternoon oyster happy hour
Good service, great food and a wonderful atmosphere.
Safe, clean and organized.
I ate at the downstairs portion of the restaurant that doesn't require a reservation. Standard drinks are solid. I Shared wings and calamari. Wings are decent, above average. Calamari I won't get again, just tasted like fried oil which is unfortunate for a restaurant on the water. Staff is friendly. I give it 3.5 stars. I'd comeback and give the upstairs food a try. For drinks and covid free outdoor seating i recommend this place. Downstairs has more spread out seating.
A good time by the water. Bloody Mary spicy right. The ceviche tasty. Social distanc practiced.
Awesome. Loved the food. Good service. Lovely ambivalence. Parking sucked though, construction all over.
Awesome view. Warm outside seating. .99 cent oysters that are great!
The Manager rushed my party and I out. She could have been polite about it.
Beautiful view at sunset. Service was slow but steamed mussels & fries were fantastic!
Dollar oysters during happy hour (until 6pm I think). Decent beer selection.
This place has great relaxing views of the Bay. The Bloody Mary's could be stronger
What a nice find, it's like a hidden jewel in SF but don't tell anyone else. Perfectly located in the up-and-coming Mission Bay neighborhood. Very cool building, amazing views of the bay and Oakland in the distance, food was very tasty, it was just a great experience seating outside on a warm day and with a unique view. I hope the area doesn't change its unique flavor with all construction going on in the city. Can't wait to get back there.
Beautiful place with great happy hour but WATCH OUT your car has a high chance of getting broken into!
Great selection of oysters and beer. Worth the wait. My advice...get there early...
Gorgeous view, tasty food, dog friendly patio, mimosas. Perfect brunch at in my opinion.
Nice place to hang out with a beautiful view. Food wasn't great and it took an hour to get.
