One of my go to supermarket with some of my favorite italian s products!!! The staff is amazing, super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The Parmigiano, the Italian olives, soppressata just to mention some of them, besides all the pasta and cookies from Italy!!! Check it out for some of the best delicatessen from all over Italy!!!
Remarkable place! It's toward the back of Chelsea Market (10th Ave side). A tip if you're making this the reason to go to CM - come in from the 10th Ave side and avoid the herd of tourists.
This place has it all - from candies to meats to pastas to prepared foods and specialities. Also quite a few pastas and prepared foods frozen. Even caviar in a number of varieties and price ranges.
They have specialties like rice and olives as well as more exotic items you just won't see anywhere else. Really well done, folks!
Wonderful Italian market offering authentic Italian ingredients and even fully cooked meals. We enjoyed shopping here. You get stuff here that s not easy to get at NYC supermarkets.
Really liked the place. It has a big variety of italian products including of course pastas, cold cuts, cheeses, bread products, chocolate products etc. I appreciated a lot their cheese descriptions (see picture) - it was a massive help in choosing a cheese to buy. Overall I would recommend checking this store out if you re at the Chelsea market.
Excellent food and ambiance! Homemade pastas made daily. Cocktails are creative and on par...one of the best Old Fashioned I've ever had.
This store's old local Italian grocery store vibes have totally gone since it moved downstairs. The selection of merchandises there also seems to significantly smaller now. The old store was a go-to store for people who crave for authentic Italian food, but the new store feels more like a novelty gift shop for tourists now. What a big disappointment. It's espresso is quite food, but decaf Americano is quite bitter and multy. Pastry is reasonably priced, but does not taste super fresh.
Good selection. They had some hard to find stuff and very expensive stuff. Also regular items with good prices
