First of all, my husband and I did not want a videographer for our wedding. We didn't want a lot of strangers there, being all invasive with jumbo cameras, and taking a cheesy wedding video that would make us misremember the magic of our wedding day. But, my mother insisted that we have one, so my sister shopped around on our behalf- and can I say that we are THRILLED that my sister found Mint Cinematography.
After viewing some of their sample films online and liking their work, my husband and I met up with Chris at a little coffee shop in Brooklyn and we talked all about what we did and did not want. And Chris was totally cool. He listened to us, and understood us. He wasn't pushy or cheesy or crazy wedding industrial complex aggressive, he was just a normal guy who likes to make films.
We wanted a smaller package, because again, NON invasive was our biggest concern, but we had a lot of performance elements in our wedding. So, promising that he would not be invasive at all, Chris offered to throw in a second videographer for a few hours to help capture some of the more complicated performances at no extra charge. He just wanted to make sure that he captured our wedding as accurately as possible. And Chris was totally true to his word, Zach (the second videographer) and Chris were so non invasive and they used such small cameras that most people at the wedding didn't even know that anyone was there filming at all!
But the best part is that both the trailer and the feature length films that Chris made for us were so perfect. They were artistically shot and edited and completely captured the essence of our wedding day. My husband and I were both blown away by the final product. Another great thing is that the films captured a lot of details that our photographers missed, and vice versa. So it is really fun to have more than one professional perspective to capture all of the meaningful details of your wedding day.
We LOVE our wedding videos that Mint made. Working with Chris was easy and enjoyable from our first meeting to when we got our DVD's and external hard drive in the mail, which is such a breath of fresh air considering how stressful planning and throwing a wedding can be.

These guys have a natural knack for capturing amazing moments and combining them to perfection with emotion and artistry. The actual camera looks like a still camera - I was impressed with how unobtrusive it was. We had the trailer and feature in less than two weeks which were both great. They also made several edits that we requested within 24 hours. We strongly recommend Mint!

I used Mint for my wedding on June 10th 2017. Zach showed up on time and was so easy to work with! After our wedding we weren't expecting the video for some time, but they delivered our trailer and finished video within TWELVE DAYS!!! Both our video and trailer came out amazing and really captured all the emotions and details of the day. Everyone who I sent the videos to said it was the best wedding videos they have seen! We booked Mint Wedding Cinematography for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with their work! I'll admit- I asked a lot of questions when booking my vendors and they answered each and every one of them and never pressured me to book them. Mint filmed and produced and exceptional video that perfectly captured our wedding day. We opted for a 5 minute video set to music; they captured our day to perfection. They were so subtle throughout the course of the day that I barely noticed their presence, yet they didn t miss a moment on film. Polite, discreet and a pleasure to work with. Mint was amazing!! My husband and I had some trouble finding a videography vendor for our wedding because everything seemed to look so cheap and cheesy. A photographer friend of ours recommended Mint to us and we are so thrilled he did! We loved their style and storytelling once we saw examples of their work and knew we had to hire them. So glad we also went with 2 shooters vs 1. Ray and Zach were awesome to work with! And Chris did a wonderful job editing. After an exhaustive search for wedding cinematographers, spending hours on Vimeo watching video after video, I stumbled upon Mint Wedding Cinematography. I had passed over many other cinematographers because I wasn t captivated by their videos, pressing, stop after 20 seconds; but I really enjoyed Mint s style and the emotions they were able to capture.

My husband and I were getting married in St Lucia and Mint offered us a great package to capture not only the wedding and reception, but also our photo shoot the morning after, and our snorkeling and catamaran tour for our wedding guests. They even captured some great moments two days afterwards while our families and friends were enjoying an afternoon at the beach.

St Lucia has some of the most breathtaking views, and my husband and I were adamant about capturing footage from above; so we ordered a drone online and scheduled it to ship to Zach before his and Emilia s flight (we had to fly down earlier to finalize everything). Unfortunately, the drone never shipped from the retailer; however, Zach was on top of it and ran to B&H to pick up a drone for us so we wouldn t miss capturing those stunning views. He even used their GoPro to shoot underwater during our snorkeling excursion and included it in both our videos.

Emilia and Zach were so wonderful during the entire trip; I barely even noticed they were there which is a good thing because the last thing you want is a camera in your face the entire time. They were professional, courteous, and a lot of fun to be around! On our last day everyone was hanging out like old friends, enjoying the last full day in paradise.

I must give Zach a huge thank you because he was so patient with me giving my opinions and suggestions on how I d like the final videos to look. I know there s not much that s more annoying than someone trying to tell you how to do your job; but he let me be involved, which I greatly appreciated.

I highly recommend using Mint Wedding Cinematography to capture your special day. Our videos are spectacular and I catch myself watching them ever so often to take me back to such a wonderful moment in my life. I cannot thank them enough!

We needed a very last minute videographer for our very last minute elopement and Mint went above and beyond to give us what we needed! We found Mint on a cold search of WeddingWire and really liked their portfolio of videos and the high production value given their great prices. We contacted Zach about a week before our elopement and he jumped right on board our crazy train! He was very responsive over e-mail and upon meeting in person we felt like we really clicked with his laid back, congenial attitude.

The day of our wedding, he was punctual, professional, and a real joy to have around. He made it feel like a friend was shooting our day. We also really appreciated how invested he was in producing a quality video--from ensuring he'd stay until he gets the best shots, to being very communicative and open during the editing process. Since our "wedding" was a teeny tiny, no fuss event that lasted all of 3 hours, start to finish, he was also kind enough to pro-rate his services.

The end product is phenomenal. I am so obsessed with what he produced, I can't help but to click replay over and over! I joked with my husband that I want Zach to be at every major life event. Mint was a dream to work with and gave us everything we asked for and so, so, so much more! Book 'em! NOW!

Mint was absolutely my favorite vendor! In addition to being truly lovely, understated people, they are so incredibly talented. Having booked a photographer early, we went back and forth about whether to spring for a cinematographer too. We are so happy that we did! Watching the magical videos (a trailer, feature and featurette) makes us time travel back to that magical day. They were able to catch so many incredible moments that even our photographer missed. They worked with us to find music that we loved and created a masterpiece that really captured our personalities and our wedding day. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing Mint Cinematography is. We were referred to them by our wedding photographer who worked alongside them in the past. It was a huge plus being able to see examples of their work on Vimeo prior to hiring them...it was the best way to see what they were capable of creating, and ultimately the reason why we felt so sure about choosing Mint. Booking Mint Cinematography was one of many great decisions we made during our wedding planning. Booking a cinematographer was one of the last things we did. The truth is, we were unsure if we would be able to hire based on our budget and everything we had already spent. As our wedding day approached I really did not want to give this up! I needed our day captured!! Especially seeing how much amazing talent is currently out there! I did a ton of research and was not too happy with what I was finding. In order to get great quality footage, rough, edited and a trailer you had to be ready to pay up! We stumbled upon Mint s website and then our photographers Cottonwood Studios recommended we check them out. We set up a meeting with Mint at a coffee shop in Brooklyn. We loved their work from our research and felt really good about this meeting. Their style of shooting, non invasive, capturing the true events and feel of the day was what attracted us to them in addition to the modern feel of their editing and even look of their website. When we met with Mint, they were super chill and laid back! A match made in heaven for my husband and I who were really just trying to make decisions that felt right. Mint felt right. We booked during the meeting. On the day of the wedding, Mint arrived on time and got right to work. My husband and I were in the same hotel so they were able to easily spend time with both the men and women while we all got ready. They were so good at their job I often did not even notice them there. When looking back at the footage I am still in awe of everything they captured. I kept saying to myself How and When did they get this?! They were totally not in our way at all during that day as I have seen at other weddings! We got everything on our wish list, the rough footage, a feature edit and a trailer. We sent our music picks for the video and it was pure perfection. Our wedding footage will be something we will always treasure. They had to choose two more songs in addition to the ones we had picked in order to cover the amount of time and WOW, the two songs they chose happen to be two of my favorite songs of all time. When I watched for the first time, I cried. And even now months later I get the chills when I watch. It is honestly a powerful experience to see your dreams become a reality and to know you invested your money in the right people. We are so thankful for Mint and we would recommend them over and over again!

We were married in March, and part of the huge success of the day can be attributed to a great group of vendors that we carefully sought out to help make our Wedding Day as memorable as possible. And one of our vendors was Mint Wedding Cinematographers. When I came across their vimeo page, I connected with their work and overall style. I was fortunate enough to work with Chris during the planning phase, and there were a lot of emails and questions I had which he answered with patience and clarity. He really worked with us on pricing, and we found Mint to be the best option for us for more reasons than one.

When we finally met Chris on our wedding day, he was really calm and easygoing and he worked unobtrusively alongside our photographer. He was there to capture all the special and important moments and paid great attention to detail. Most of the time, I didn't even realize he was there so it surprised me when we got our draft videos back within a few short weeks after our event, and saw how close he got during all the important and critical moments of the day. Overall, we are truly pleased with our experience with Mint and we think Chris is very professional and approachable, which are two of the best traits to find in a wedding cinematographer.

We were able to edit our draft, working videos, and Chris really came through and delivered what we asked of him. There were some things I had wanted or wished were different, but we worked with the material we had and it turned out wonderfully. It was nice that we were able to tailor or video to make it as personable as we wanted.

Nothing but great things to say. All the guys were a pleasure to work with. They were nearly invisible on the day of which is what we wanted. They were prompt and friendly and most importantly the finished product was delivered very quickly and with great taste. I recommend them with no reservations.

My husband and I feel so blessed to have been able to work with Chris @ Mint Cinematography. I was initially really skeptical about doing a wedding video since a lot of the videos I had seen were really long and incredibly cheesy. If you want something short and beautifully composed, this is it.

We debuted our video at a follow up reception this weekend and all of the guests raved over the caliber of work. The video was the perfect length, giving people a sense of the day and all the events that took place without being too long or drawn out.

Chris was incredibly easy to work with and super accommodating. He made us feel really comfortable during the big day and managed to catch both the big and smaller, more candid moments. He's also an amazingly fast editor and was super patient when we asked him to edit against seemingly minute detail. He's not only really good at what he does but also really listens to his clients and has a innate grasp of the day's narrative and visual style. Everything he puts together is so thoughtful and high quality; I think the work speaks for itself.

Mint also went above and beyond in referring us a Photo Booth vendor; for that we are eternally grateful! For brides and grooms on a budget, I highly recommend spending money on just one photographer and allocating the rest of your funds to a video with Mint. It was a great experience and now we have a really special keepsake to share with others.

I cannot speak more highly of Mint - the experience and process was simple and straightforward. Most of all, the finished product came to us within 2 weeks of our wedding and exceeded our expectations. Zach shot the wedding, and picked up so many fun details that only a professional could find. He was very nice, arrived on time, and never got in the way. Chris did the editing and like I said earlier, was just blown away with how much it captured exactly what we wanted. Mint did a fantastic job capturing our wedding day! Zach filmed our wedding and he was so incredibly easy to work with - I didn't even notice him filming most of the time! Our trailer and feature movies turned out wonderfully!

Be warned. The guys at Mint aren't videographers and they don't make wedding videos. What you'll get is a heart-warming movie that tells the story of two people making a commitment to each other and then having the time of their life with their friends and family. There's a reason their company name has cinematography in it instead of videography, and it's completely warranted. Of all the wedding video's I've seen from other companies, this one felt more like a feature film than a collection of chronological shots from our big day.

We looked at several videographers prior to our wedding and Mint was by far the easiest to talk to, very professional, and very accommodating. The packages they offer on their website are great for people who aren't sure what they want. We, however, were incredibly picky, but they worked with us and priced our event accordingly. To be honest, I think we underpaid for what we got in the end, and we are an incredibly frugal couple.

The day of the wedding, both of us felt the entire time that Zack and Adam were looking out for us and genuinely cared about how everything would turn out. My wife and I were very animated, and Mint definitely caught that side of us.

Every time I watch our videos I have a huge smile on my face. The film runs smoothly, great transitions, great music selection (if you give them some songs you'd really like to have in it, they'll work them in). I'm technically savvy and know what goes in to editing footage and not everyone can do it well both technically AND stylistically. We got both. During the editing process, Zack was more than accommodating and prompt. His first composition was already amazing, but being picky as we are, we gave him about 10-15 things we wanted to be done differently, like including more of one particular guest. He incorporated everything and now we have a film that we absolutely love.

We had a overall great experience with Mint! Chris really took the time to speak with us about what we envisioned for our day and what we wanted the film to convey about us...and they hit the nail right on the head. Chris and Emilia captured our day perfectly, including all of the little details that were important to us all the way to the song selections. They were so lovely to be around, though people didn't know we had cinematographers until after because they were so behind the scence but clearly in the midst of everything to capture all of the special moments.

To brides that are debating hiring a cinematography...DO IT! I believe my mother is responsible for the several thousand views on the Vimeo page because it makes her so happy....and that alone is worth the investment. Plus it so beautiful to be able to relive your day and catch the moments you may of missed. We are thrilled that we chose Mint!

Mint is awesome. They go with the flow and do a great job at filming all the little things that make a wedding so special, without interfering. The slow motion booth is amazing fun. Finally, the video is put together beautifully, with great vibes.

We booked Mint for our wedding over a long weekend in July (spanning three events in total). Three things drove the decision:

1) The samples on their website were our personal favorites of the numerous cinematography companies we considered. 2) They were super amendable in tailoring their package(s) to our specific needs for the weekend. 3) Photo booths are overdone. We thought their slo-mo booth was absolutely one-of-a-kind. 4) Bonus bullet. Looking back on the whole planning process, Mint ranked as our lowest maintenance vendor. Consummate professionals. I'd add this as an underrated reason to pick them.

As for the live experience of working with trio of Chris, Zach and Calvin... they were awesome. Frankly, if you didn't look out for them, you would've never known they were there (well, except Zach. he's a giant). You could describe the style as part journalistic / part cinematic. They shot the event as it unfolded and most of the film was edited in chronological order, but cinematic flourishes featured throughout the final offering: a flashy array of long shots and close ups, stable and shaky cam footage seamlessly edited together to match the background music beat for beat. It really felt like an epic movie. We still get compliments from friends on the same day edit.

So yeah, I say hire Mint. You won't regret it.

Our videos are beyond beautiful, of course, but the experience from top to bottom was so positive with Mint.

We had a venue change and tons of confusion after our original venue shut down and took all of our money with it, and the guys at Mint were so happy to roll with the punches and adapt to our constantly-changing plans in the last three months before our date.

On the day-of, almost no one even realized we had a videographer there. They were so gracious and considerate of our celebration, our guests, and our experience -- they fit right in with the vibe of our event and we barely even noticed them.

We have the most gorgeous memories of our wedding, and we cannot recommend the kind, talented artists at Mint enough.
